I should've ordered extra yum yum sauce. I usually won't eat it anywhere but theirs was perfect. My noodles and rice were both seasoned and cooked very well. The grilled chicken was flavor juicy, and I loved that it wasn't overdone and dry. I placed a DoorDash order, when my food arrived it was still steaming hot! Fresh off the grill. The service from Midnight Hibachi was great. They're really good on communicating and making sure their customers have the best experience. This was for sure one of my best Hibachi experiences and one of the best experiences I've had in DoorDash because of them. I would highly recommend 10/10. The fried rice was given in a generous amount and was very good with all of the meats, which had a nice grilled flavor. Okay, tbh when they first opened they were great!!!! Serving sizes were bigger, wait time was one time. For the past couple months I have noticed serving sizes are smaller. The wait is longer. They tell you 15 mins. I leave my house and get there in 30. And still have to wait another 15 in my car because they are still not done. I ask for ginger sauce and they never have any. I ordered recently and I asked for two bowls one chicken and second bowl chicken and steak for protein. I arrive and they only have 1 bowl ready. They thought I only wanted one. The thing was I was trying to figure out how much it would cost to eat there, they don't explicitly list their prices on their social media, but if they did it would be really helpful for those who are in my situation and trying to budget. The portions were large and rich, I give them that. But other than that, I genuinely think it wasn't worth the price. I mean I'm ok with trying just for the experience, but I don't see myself or my family coming here to eat besides this one time. I rather have have baby back ribs from lucille's that is worth about the same or even $18 salmon plate from BJ's that is a lot more cheaper than this place. The shrimp was fantastic, buttery, and nice sized, it's very high quality, the filet as well. You can tell it's not low grade meat, which I appreciate. The fried rice was delicious. The noodles were very good, they have a sweet flavor, I'm going to try the spicy noodles next time. The portions were enough to share and still had food leftover. I called the owner Jose before I ordered through DoorDash, and he was super friendly and hooked us up with sauces. Just because of his energy, I want to support him and his business.
