We had a great experience here. Overview: Small lot that sells pre-cut Christmas trees, and small selection of wreaths and decorations. While you are paying, they wrap the tree and put it in your car/truck. The Good: After having terrible experiences at U-Cut lots, we decided to give the Kringle Tree Factory a try. The experience was very pleasant; they were not cheap, but the pricing was straight-forward and the trees were of good quality. What I really liked, they had different types of trees, and different sizes. We were flexible on the type of tree we wanted and saved a lot of money by choosing a different variety. If you are very specific about the type of tree you have to have, prepare to pay a little more. Our tree stayed up till mid February, then we cut some of the branches off, and made wreathes, because we liked the smell so much. The wreathes are still decorating our front porch, and coffee table... and its March. The Bad: This is a quick buying process... not many opportunities for photo ops, etc, if that's what you are looking for. Conclusion: Ill be buying my tree, from here, for now on. read more

We got a beautiful Frasier Fir here last year, but this year the price had ballooned to $180 for a 7-8ft tree, and it started dropping needles as soon as we put it up, same day we bought it. We put warm water in the stand and never had to refill because the tree simply never took up any water. 10 days to go until Xmas and I'm not sure this tree will make it! Very disappointed since last year the tree was fresh - this year, not at all. read more

We purchased a Norway Spruce, 6'5". Though the tree was beautiful and smelled great, the needles started to fall from the branches two days after purchase. The tree was placed in the stand and watered daily. This tree was purchased the Sunday after Thanksgiving, placed in the stand with water. We HAD to take what was left of it down right after Christmas. It did not last until New Years. Our Christmas village looked like a summer scene and it was impossible to run the trains as the tracks were covered with pine needles. Very disappointing as we like to keep our trees up until the 6th of January. The staff was very friendly and helpful but please don't tell people the trees are cut down weekly if they are not. We always get fresh cut trees and never had to take them down before New Years. read more

Best prices. Tree lasted over a month with no dropped needles. Needed a very specific height and width. All tree places had horrible trees last year because of our weather, not them, they were all gorgeous. Not a fancy place but if you want a great tree this is the place! read more

We get a real tree every year. This was our first time at Kringle's and it was a letdown from start to finish. The trees are overpriced, the location is a cement slab with a few trees, there were no food trucks, and we just took down our tree a couple days before Christmas because it was completely dead and stinking. Worst tree experience to date and would never recommend. read more

This is the best kept secret of New Lenox. For many years we have gone to Bengston Tree Farm (to cut down a tree ourselves) only to get what appeared to be malnourished trees. We started going to Kringles four years ago and have never looked back. We usually find a tree in less than a few minutes. Usually it's the first one we look at. My understanding is that these are cut fresh (not sitting). And they drink all the way through January. Never had I gotten a better tree than the last four I have gotten. Staff is friendly too. This is now our yearly tradition. read more
