They keep them busy and OUTSIDE!! The camp is really well ran and the communication is spot on. The camp directors and staff remember my kids from last year to this year and are really caring. They take trips during the week and even swim in the indoor pool. I know my kids are safe and having fun while both my husband and I work. I would really recommend enrolling - you will not be disappointed!

The staff operate such a well-run birthday party (and their camps and classes), that all we had to do was show up. Everything was thought through and our kids have the biggest smiles on their faces. Even if a child feels unsure about an obstacle, the staff coach them through it and give them the confidence to try something new. Go for a class, stay for a camp, host a party! We've been going to HGG for 5+ years and it will always be a special place to us.

The maintenance staff seems really small still and the building looks completely unkempt, outdated, and dirty. It smells, machines are old and feel scuzzy in the workout rooms. The spare rooms for stretching are fine but the workout schedules seem mostly geared for old people. However, they put me with people my own age and they worked with everyone individually, and by the end I felt very comfortable here. I rode her for about three years, until I broke my toe(not from horses) and stopped for two months. I came back for camp, which was great, although Kara no longer works there. The new instructors were really nice, but the lessons were only half an hour but still cost $60, which we couldn't afford. However, if you can afford this, I really, highly recommend Galway because they can teach any level of rider and I learned something every time. They have great lesson horses and take really good care of the horses they board. I still really miss this place.

Schaumburg Park District has a few locations and this one is a bit farther for us but we visited…read moreonce as the Meineke Center was being remodeled. This location is relatively newer and provides all the workout necessities; indoor track, locker rooms, showers, weights, treadmills etc... Check-in is on the main floor and workout areas are upstairs. The indoor track is basically small and in the middle of the floor with weights and machines inside the track and to the outside perimeter. To exit after your workout you need to go thru the locker rooms.
