I've been going to Kris for about 4-5 years now. She puts the health of your hair first and always communicates how realistic my hair ideas are! I have naturally dark brown / black hair and she's taken me from ginger/orange to dark cherry red to blue! I had ginger/orange hair for about 1-2 years. Impulsively, I put brown box dye over it (which didn't work out well). She helped me go back to my natural dark brown colour. I took a small break. After growing out my hair and letting more of my natural hair come in, we did a chocolate brown. After some time... I was ready for dark red hair! But after a month I got tired of the red and was ready for blue! I consulted with her how to safely get to blue. The OPPOSITE of the colour wheel I might add and she made it possible. She lets me tell her whatever idea I'm thinking about doing to my hair and works with me to get there realistically while keeping my hair as healthy as possible. Once I book an appointment with her, she is quick to communicate and asks any questions she may have. Some appointments I am on the chatty side, but on occasion I am rather quiet. She doesn't make me talk when I am feeling more on the quiet side during an appointment. Considering this, I believe she works well with those who do want to chat and those who would rather not talk during their hair appointments.
