It's taken me years to write this review because the amount that Krishna has helped me is quite inexpressible. I was referred to her when I had Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in my foot. A very rare, not well-understood chronic nerve pain issue that was threatening to keep me debilitated for the rest of my life. The MDs I had were at a loss for how to help. I am a dancer, and extremely active in my hobbies so to say the prospect of not being able to move freely or use my foot again was terrifying and traumatizing, is a gross understatement. In my first acupuncture session with her, I went from not being able to touch ANYTHING to my foot, to being able to place it on the floor of my car (which was previously unendurable due to the vibrations, pressure, and swelling from not being elevated) and drive myself over an hour to one of my favorite places. It was like a miracle. Every time I had a session with her, my baseline would improve immediately, and those changes would hold. When people ask me what treatments made the most difference, the two answers I give are acupuncture from "this truly extraordinary practitioner named Krishna", and an anti-inflammatory diet. I deeply believe I would not have recovered without her, and to be frank, that thought terrifies me on behalf of all the people who do not have the chance to receive help from her or someone like her. That was just the effect of the acupuncture. She also did several Psych-K sessions with me over the years. The Psych-K is one of the coolest treatments I have ever had (and I've had a lot). It is amazing, and so relieving to have an experience that cuts so deeply be transformed so that those emotions are processed. I would leave feeling like an elephantine weight was lifted from my shoulders. Around that time, I was having a lot of issues with my mom. Lots of love, but something in our relationship was off and causing some very big problems. We did the relationship balancing Psych-K together (although you don't need both parties for it to work), and it made a world of difference. Of course, our relationship work is still ongoing, but that session was a huge turning point. I live in a different state now, but every time I have an issue it is Krishna that I wish I could see. I am planning on doing some Psych-K sessions around recent issues over Zoom. All in all, I would recommend Krishna to anyone and everyone, she truly is an exceptional practitioner. read more

Krishna practices intuitive acupuncture - she relies on her intuition to determine which energy points to utilize and to determine what's appropriate for you at the moment. I went in to see her last week and I really appreciated the warmth and calmness in her space. She asks specific questions throughout to further guide her. For me she also used sound healing with tuning forks. I found that I fell asleep and woke up not even knowing where I was for a moment. I left feeling totally refreshed and calm and her recommendation of a blend of herbs has really eliminated a cough that I've had. I've been seeing Krishna since summer 2021 for acupuncture mainly, as well as some breath work and Psych-K. Working together has been a significant milestone in my ongoing journey with depression and healing from past trauma. Krishna has helped me with menstruation issues, anxiety / depression, and GI problems. PSYCH-K has been a fascinating journey for me. I've been struggling with writer's block and losing confidence in the value of my work. I started going to Krishna for acupuncture to explore potential relief for back/neck pain and recurring headaches. She thoughtfully asked a number of questions, which led to the opportunity to address my liver function. I have a herniated C6-7 vertebrae. In May it became unbearable, and I went to the ER where it was finally diagnosed. After weeks of physical therapy, tons of heavy painkillers, cortico-steroid injections and feeling as though my life was over, my doctor referred me for acupuncture. If that didn't work, my only other option was neuro surgery. I was skeptical and I mentioned that to Krishna, she simply smiled and said she had a soft spot for skeptics. Three months ago I couldn't sit in a chair, lift my head up, work, drive, sleep, smile, walk my dogs. My pain levels were so far off the charts and heavy pain killers didn't touch it. Now I'm writing this review with a huge smile on my face while sitting at my desk. She is the real deal and it works. I wouldn't be walking or functioning right now if it wasn't for her and the magic she works. I haven't taken any pain killers or anti-inflammatory medication for weeks. I'm sleeping comfortably in my own bed and not on the floor. I am no longer a writhing ball of agony. I have not have surgery and I do not want to. The way I feel now, I don't have to. I decided to see Krishna after reading the Yelp reviews, even though her practice is 40 mins (one way) from where I live, and there are other practitioners closer to me. At the time, I was dealing with migraines and back pain, in addition to a series of symptoms related to stress and post-pregnancy hormonal imbalance. After completing six sessions with her, all of the pains and symptoms I originally went in for are gone. I also feel stronger, my energy levels have significantly increased, and I feel more balanced and clear-minded. I have also noticed that I am more calmed and even-tempered when dealing with stressors, and overall feel much more motivated to get things done. This was my first acupuncture, moxibustion and vibration therapy experience, so at first, I was a bit afraid that the needles would be painful, but quite frankly, when she was working on me, there were times I didn't even know she had placed a needle in a certain spot until she removed it. Vibration therapy was my favorite part of the treatment (I can't even describe it; that's something you'll have to try on your own; all I can say is it made my whole body very happy), but the entire session from beginning to end was very relaxing, revitalizing and therapeutic. I left the studio looking forward to the next session every time, and I still am. I think it is worth mentioning that at the time I started my sessions, my fiancé had been dealing with some foot pain that traditional doctors had not been able to tackle, so I made an appointment for him to start treatment with Krishna. He was super skeptical, but decided to go through with it just to make me happy. Much to his surprise, his foot pain went away after the first session, even though he had had it for months. I also noticed that he was a lot more energetic; he even started working out on regular basis and has shed a few pounds since then (I have too). Even though the issues that I went to see Krishna for are gone, I am planning on visiting her for more sessions in the future. I find that her therapy helps me stay healthy, balanced and focused, and -in my opinion- a session with Krishna beats a day at the spa! I've been going to Krishna for close to 10 yrs and I don't know what I'd do without her! My main treatments are acupuncture and she has helped me so much with my migraines!! I used to have a couple migraines per week and, now, I only get one every other month or so. She also helps with my carpal tunnel and back and neck pain. All that said, the main reason I religiously go to Krishna is for my emotional and mental health. So many times I can't pinpoint what is wrong or don't even realize how tired or stressed I'm feeling. Krishna is amazing. I've been a client for the last 2 years, mainly for stress management, but she has also helped me with my thyroid condition. Krishna is magical! My back has been going "out" intermittently for the last 20 years. Last year I was particularly floored by my back, but after going to many chiropractic and massage appointments (which would "fix" me for hours at a time), I finally found Krishna and poof, I was cured. My experience with Krishna has been outstanding. She has a gentle, confident demeanor and an amazing ability to see past the symptoms to the core of the issue, zeroing in on exactly where to place the needles in order to get the most positive results. I have been working with Krishna for over a year now. The first treatment made me feel so wonderful that I signed up for a series of treatments.
