    Free Birthday 6 Pack
    Rikesha F.

This location is in my neck of the woods so this is the one I frequent. On occasion, I stop here and purchase a dozen or two to take to work to share with my coworkers or students. While this location does not make the doughnuts in house, sometimes they are still warm when received. Every now and then, the "Hot" sign is on. Service is normally good here. The ambiance is a typical doughnut shop. Pro Tip: Sign up for discounts and promotions online through their app. This year, they gave me a free 6 pack during my birthday month as a rewards club member.

Very clean, super friendly service and all kinds of people in and out just like when I was a kid!

Ordered a delicious cold beverage, from the menu. Yes, it does exceed my calorie intake, for 2 days! The young guy, whom taken my order, was polite and had good customer service skills. Drive thru, became, crowded right after, I got there, wasn't no loud music bumping. Everyone loves Krispy Kreme, I know I do.

What a great visit! I'm still in shock!!! I came in to get a few gift cards for my nieces /nephew as stocking stuffers. The staff was so friendly, helpful and engaged. I don't visit Krispy Kreme often and I hadn't been to this location in a really long time. I had no idea Krispy Kreme had as many donut varieties. Personally, I only care for the lemon filled. And NO I'm not a hot donut fan. I know .... The inside of this location was clean. Had seats for dine in guests. The parking lot isn't the best but there is an adjacent parking lot. Drive thru service available.

The mood doesn't strike often for Krispy Kreme, but when it does, I'm glad there's a place nearby. nearby is relative... we're in Trussville, and this location is near the Roebuck Golf Course. Closer than Hoover for sure! Much smaller than your typical Krispy Kreme. And you have to access the drive-thru from the side road and not the main entrance. It's a little awkward. The parking lot and side road aren't in great condition, but what really matters is what's inside the box! Very good, warmed Doughnuts! It hit the spot!

My favorite donut place. It's both a good thing and a sad thing that it's not nearby. Their donuts are a favorite treat of mine. I love their original glazed donuts and the lemon filled ones. This location is right off the main road, highway 11, but has a weird turn-in to get into the drive-in lane. It can lead to some issues if you're coming from the wrong side of the road, or if you had parked first, but then decided to go through the drive-through instead. The employees were friendly and had the donuts out quick. We got our hot donuts and enjoyed them!

The building is a renovated house and offers an abundance of indoor and outdoor seating. It's a coffee shop by day, and after 4pm, it turns into a 21+ bar and venue that restricts laptop use. The barista was super friendly, and it was obvious they were a pro because the espresso was dialed in. Aside from your usual espresso based drinks, they offer tea and seasonal drinks, like strawberry matcha, as well as pastries. I do feel like it's a bit overpriced and outdated to charge $1 for alt milk, but that seems to be the norm in Birmingham. All in all, I'm impressed with the type of atmosphere that House Eleven is delivering to 1st Avenue North and would definitely go back to try other drinks.

I'm diabetic so I don't use sugar and truvia is just nasty. It tastes horrible and makes your drink taste horrible. Now mind you they will use all kinds of syrups with dyes and additives and sugars but nope not Splenda. That's bad for you. The 50 grams of sugar in a single vanilla latte is totally fine. We're ok with that even though that alone is over the recommended amount. But Splenda no we can't allow that. Will never be back.

The shop may be small, but it has a cozy, welcoming feel that makes it a comfortable place to enjoy a cup of coffee. Even though it's located in the lobby of a building, the décor gives it plenty of character and makes the space feel warm rather than temporary. I could easily see myself coming here to get some work done or simply relax for a while. I decided to try one of their seasonal drinks, the Berry & Bee Latte. While it wasn't quite my favorite flavor combination, the espresso itself was well made, and I wouldn't hesitate to come back and try another drink from the menu. Sometimes a seasonal special just comes down to personal preference, and this one wasn't quite for me. The standout of my visit was the chorizo, egg, and cheese empanada. It was absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of my order. There's a short wait for the empanadas, but that's because they're warmed fresh after you order, and it's well worth it. I'd gladly wait a few extra minutes for something served hot and fresh. The only area where I think the experience could be improved is staffing. During my visit, the barista had to step away from the counter several times, which left me waiting a few minutes before I could order. Having a second employee available during busier times would likely make the flow much smoother and improve the overall customer experience. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would definitely stop by again. The comfortable atmosphere, quality coffee, and outstanding empanada make Daily Buzz Coffee worth a return trip, and I'm looking forward to trying a different latte on my next visit.

When she was here for the holidays, I decided to try one of their seasonal energy drinks and have become a regular. I haven't decided on a consistent favorite, so for now I have been trying different featured drinks in a variety of versions from the 7 Energy, Fizz, Tea and Lemonades or recommendations from the Brew Crew. I really like that you can customize pretty much any flavor to one of the different options. Of late I have been consistently going with the featured Love Potion as a sugar free lemonade. The only one that I didn't really care for was the Tropic Thunder which was very surprising since I really like Mango & Pineapple flavors. Maybe I will give it another try and ask for an extra shot of each. For those that haven't tried 7 Brew yet think of a drive thru experience on par with the Chick-Fil-A service model. No one has actually said "My Pleasure" yet but their attitude exudes it. Even when today their system was down and was cash only as well as their tablets weren't functioning you couldn't tell how frustrated they were (I assume because I know I would be).

There was a bit of a wait before my order was taken, but honestly, it worked out in my favor because it gave me plenty of time to look over the menu. There were so many tempting options that it was honestly hard to decide! I ultimately chose three items and enjoyed a few bites of each. Ham & Fontina Scone: This was my first time trying a scone, and I was pleasantly surprised. The texture reminded me of a dry biscuit, but the ham added a delicious savory flavor that I really enjoyed. Frittata Plate: The frittata was SO good! It wasn't too dry, and all of the flavors worked really well together. It was served with polenta, which reminded me of really fine grits, along with fruit. After trying it, I realized that one entrée would definitely be enough for me to enjoy on its own. Breakfast 'ZA: This was essentially a breakfast pizza topped with a fried egg, and the egg was such a nice touch. The 'ZA itself was really good, although I think adding something similar to a gravy or sauce would make it a little less dry. Even without it, though, the fried egg really took it to another level. Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso: I decided to try the Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso, which was the barista's pick. This was my first time having a shaken espresso, and I'm so glad I gave it a try! It was refreshing and perfect for a hot day. The inside of Trattoria ZaZa is nice, although it is somewhat small, so I opted to sit outside. It was a very warm day, but the awning provided plenty of shade and made the outdoor seating comfortable. I also appreciated that, even though the restaurant doesn't have traditional table service, someone periodically checked on me to make sure I didn't need anything else. Overall, I had a great brunch experience at Trattoria ZaZa. There were plenty of menu options, the food was flavorful, and I really enjoyed trying a few things that were new to me. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying more of the menu!
