I can't give it 5 stars because well....it wouldn't be fair to the places that actually deserve 5 stars, but compare to the downtown location, it definitely deserves 4 stars, ha. We tried the downtown location when this location was closed for renovation and the one on 280 is closed permanently....but never again. I would just bypass KK completely if that's the only location left! Hot now donuts are great. Employees appear to rather be elsewhere, but they get the job done. Interior looks a little different, but not so much that it's super noticeable. All in all I am just glad they are open again for the additional option.

Krispy Kreme is back baby! Reopened on June 9, 2025 after being closed for several months for equipment updates. Everything looks the same to me. Apparently the changes were made in the back room. Workers were apathetic, but my expectations are pretty low from workers in these types of jobs. The hot glazed donuts are still pretty amazing. I also love the jelly filled donuts and my favorite are the lemon filled donuts.

So happy to see Krispy Kreme back open! They were closed for months and reopened early June 2025. The inside looked the same but it's been said they got new equipment. Nonetheless, they still have my fav doughnuts. Service was pretty slow but the person working the register was nice & kept assuring us he would be with us as soon as he could. Overall, I would still visit this location!

The donuts are always good of course, however the service is very unprofessional. The lady working the drive thru way very disrespectful. My mom and I had 2 separate mobile orders. My mom ordered a dozen of original glazed, I ordered one Kreme Filled donut. When we got to the speaker the lady working the drive thru was huffing and puffing, very hateful. She said "one donut, that is ridiculous. Just pull on up" We pulled up to the window she slung our donuts on the counter and they hit the window. She reached back and done something on the computer then opened the window and very aggressively slung our order through my mom's window.

Krispy Kreme sign is on I'm there! it's a holiday tradition at our place to get a dozen donuts at least once a week from here. Krispy Kreme has gotten expensive over the years but they are just keeping up with the economy. Always so delicious, so sweet, and tastes like comfort. Staff are nice and helpful. And it feels like a donut diner from the 80s. I hope they never change. This one has a drive thru too. I love that option!

Peyton Hudson changed my life. Ive never been so pleased with my service. The hundred dihs he gave me was truly such a life altering moment and I felt truly blessed in his presence. Please give this man a promotion or a raise ASAP. KRISPY KREME FOREVER!!

    Inside always closed after 3pm

This place has become ridiculous! Inside always closed! Which leaves the line wrapped around the building... can't tell you the last time I pulled up and saw the Hot & Fresh sign on. Cold donuts, 35 min wait and can't always get want you want. And they never have Cinnamon Rolls

My recent visits at this Krispy Kreme have been much better than my visits in years past. I'm not sure if they have new people or did some training, but I have noticed a better customer service experience. I have also noticed that they actually seem to have their variety of doughnuts available for purchase. There is a very pleasant gentleman that has helped me a few times via the drive through. Today, I stopped by to get a gift card and there was a customer being unnecessarily difficult. The young ladies behind the counter handled the situation well--while dealing with an ever growing line. I'm impressed so I had to update my rating.

The workers were so rude. We were told that we had to come inside to get hot & ready donuts. After coming inside workers didn't want to give us the donuts. Donuts were thrown at us. I understand that they were busy, but this was ridiculous! Definitely go to the 280 location instead!

While they have great donuts there's no point at all in placing an online order if you can't bypass the drive through.

Had to repeat order five times. Then had to go up to the window to say order AGAIN!! Drive-thru efficiency should be worked upon.

This was the first location of Baba Java and has since expanded through the city. Ran my Omani entrepreneurs, this little coffee shop became quite popular over the years. The staff working here are mostly teenagers or college students, who are very attentive and professional despite their young age. The owner clearly picked out incredible folks to be here who make Baba Java feel both welcoming and well kept. The interior of the space is fairly basic coffee shop design, but admittedly, a little bit dated in 2026 and lacks the unique vibe of some other independent coffee shops. Window views facing the strip mall parking lot don't create much of an ambiance either. With that said, design is not the main thing to come here for. The coffee is excellent and priced very reasonably, offering a great value for an establishment of this sort. There is easy to access WiFi and an overall feeling of being welcomed. A solid little coffee shop that allows customers to support some local business owners instead of a big chain.

When you get to the light at the corner of 31 and Pelham Park Blvd, just look to the right and you'll see a quaint little white building. Behind it is the Pelham Public Library which looms over Bullet and to the other side of Bullet is Edgars Bakery. As mentioned BC has been there about a year now. The other BC is on 280 and there's one more in Fairhope. All are owned by the same individual who also owns their sister store the Red Mountain Expresso. BC is not technically another "pop up" coffee place because this is actually a brick and concrete building albeit it's just big enough to be a full service drive thru, but it doesn't have any seating inside or out. Just a drive thru. The drive-thru is planned nicely so it's easy to get to the order window then around to the pickup/pay window. Their menu options long and diverse but also typical of any coffee place. They also serve fresh daily sausage biscuits and pimento cheese biscuits. They have specialties like the Turtle latte, Classics like cold brew, blended drinks like frappes and non coffee drinks like iced teas and chai. I was lucky today because they are in middle of running a special called Frappy Hour good for another week. From 3-6pm all medium frappes are $2! I tried the Java Chip and Cookie & Cream. She asked me if I wanted the "coffee" or "milk" based. The coffee is the traditional way but the milk would be more like a milkshake. I chose coffee. I didn't get whipped cream which was offered. I only had to wait a couple minutes after paying. She even gave me a frequent visitor card. Get 10 drinks, get the 11th free! The cookies and cream was good, but the java chip was even better. Nicely blended, cool and refreshing on this warm afternoon. Yom Yom Yom Yom. It hit the spot! Welcome to Pelham BC!

The consistency was creamier than I would've liked other iced coffees. I've had are more liquidy. It was good. It wasn't the best. I probably will be back to try the other different flavors. I tried the iced Aden latte (espresso, milk, pistachio and lavender) and it's the best coffee off of lakeshore. None of the flavors were overpowering the others. I also ordered a biscoff crepe and a sabaya. The sabaya was flaky and crispy, smothered in delicious honey. It wasn't the thickest sabaya but I enjoyed it! The biscoff crepe was so decadent.
