The customer service was very good. They're very patient with me because I changed my selection of donuts to go in my box so many times because there were so many choices. They all look delicious. I will come again for sure. Good aesthetics for a donut shop!

Hero will always have a place in my heart. I love their donuts and I love their food. I always go to hero to catch up with friends so it holds great memories.

I am a supermini (4) fanatic! I love them! The butter sauce on the buns is delectable! Major plus: ALL DAY BREAKFAST!!! Nice ambience and I like that they are always willing to ensure you received what you ordered with great customer service! The young man today was very courteous! I'll be back!

Yummy food and fresh donuts with a slight retro vibe. We went later in the day so the donut selection wasn't too impressive but they taste great regardless. I ordered the loaded hashbrowns and added chicken sausage- it was very good! I love the hash browns here, they're crispy and uniquely shaped. The workers are friendly and the inside is adorable. Looking foward to coming back!

Service? Prompt and polite. Ambiance? Clean and comfortable, with indoor and shaded outdoor seating. Food? The burger on the fresh baked bun is fabulous but for me it is about the secret menu! I had a chicken sandwich, buffaloed and on a donut...just try it!

Wow! Not just doughnuts! They make breakfast, lunch and have alcohol to!!! We drove all around Trussville looking for breakfast, even Cracker Barrel was a 30 minute wait! We got a wonderful tour of how great the food was with Brady at the helm. He was sooo friendly and he described the food with such vibrancy and accuracy. He should be the poster boy for the restaurant. I was craving crunchy loaded waffle House style hashbrowns. Now I no longer need to go there. We ordered the: *Loaded Hash browns fried egg, onions, jalapeños, cheese sauce, pepper jam, cracked sauce. Add choice of meat for +3 They bake then, fried them for a delicious texture crunchy creamy texture. They came cut up in the shape of tater tots served with their signature cracked sauce which was tangy and savory and completely complimented the dish. Every bite brought a surprised smile to my lips! I added the fried chicken for +3.00 and it was just another delightful surprise. It was crunchy and tender! *Hero Breakfast 2 eggs, hash browns, choice of meat, HERO brioche toast with jam. Choose Bacon, patty sausage or sausage *The beniegts come hot, with plenty of powdered sugar and a sweet and tangy jam to dip into, and I did. *Pumpkin Latte - it was awesome! Eat your heart out Starbucks, burnt coffee. * Orange juice * lemonade Squeezed fresh and so good. We wanted to order a gallon, but it only comes in singles. The food is fresh and made to order. There will be a name change soon so It doesn't seem like a typical doughnut shop. They are putting in a drive through soon. The only things that would be cons, if I didn't inform you first are: 1. It's a rather small place so a large family and friends (church) gathering would be inconvenient. 2. The restrooms are one single for each sex.

Hero was great! We stopped by on a Saturday morning for a quick treat. The store was clean and there was no wait despite being busy. Plenty of food and dessert options. Cookies and Cream Donut: 10/10 Sensational. Soft and sweet. Will be back for this! Maple Sea Salt Donut: 9.5/10 Very soft and good, but it was a touch too sweet for us! Parking: They have their own lot with ample parking!

I am most certainly a repeat offender at Hero, but this location seems to be poor representation of the brand. The food is still amazing, don't get me wrong, but this location always seems be battling issues such as: Availability of donuts, cleanliness in the dining area, the absolute BATTLEGROUND that is the parking lot, service is very hit or miss, and so on. I will spare the details. I love Hero, but I highly suggest going to the downtown location if you want to experience Hero in all of its glory

Ran into this place for a quick lunch and decided on the Dad Burger: All beef patty, Pepper Jack, spicy mayo, bourbon bacon jam, oh my!! To say it was delicious would be an understatement. And the fries were amazing and even had seasoning salt on them. The seating area quickly filled with family's, groups of teenagers, and others simply dining alone. Either way, I think the experience fits and group and the food doesn't disappoint.

Ask the Community - Full Circle Doughnuts

Would this be a good Sunday afternoon spot for 8-10 folks to come together for coffee and something sweet?

Probably not- It's a small space with only one larger table. That table could fit your group if it's not crowded.

I tried the iced Aden latte (espresso, milk, pistachio and lavender) and it's the best coffee off of lakeshore. None of the flavors were overpowering the others. I also ordered a biscoff crepe and a sabaya. The sabaya was flaky and crispy, smothered in delicious honey. It wasn't the thickest sabaya but I enjoyed it! The biscoff crepe was so decadent. The crepe itself was soft and chewy, the perfect texture for such a delicious crepe. The fruit given with it also paired well with the drizzled sauce. I am looking forward to supporting this locally owned spot more often!

I was excited to try the baklava as they looked beautiful. However, while the flavor was very good, the texture was all wrong. An authentic baklava is supposed to be crispy, flaky, and crunchy, especially on the top layers. While it is heavily soaked in sweet syrup, it should never be soggy, mushy, or completely soft. Unfortunately, the ones we had tonight were indeed soggy and completely soft.

I, however, was anything but cute while eating my sandwich I don't want to speak too soon since this place is still new, but the hot Italian sandwich might be the best sandwich I've had in the Birmingham area so far. A bold claim, no? Maybe that's all you need to know... but I love writing about coffee shops so don't stop here. I love real deal coffeehouses (yes, in a house) and it's so cozy in here. I didn't stay to work because every seat was taken both times I came in (late morning), so get here early or perhaps late, if you want a seat in the middle of the week. The baristas couldn't be nicer. They took their time and chatted with customers, a rarity in those crowded coffee chains. Do check out those seasonal lattes (I mean, for February, a cherry blossom latte? Say less). My favorite is on the regular menu, a salted rosemary latte and it's literally perfect. Other than that, there is street parking on the one way next to the building, or on 18th (main drag through downtown Homewood). They have a drive-thru, but it's a bit odd at first glance. You either enter from the one way street paralleling it or from the alley that runs behind the building. It looks like you're driving up onto the sidewalk!
