I have eaten donuts here at Krispy Kreme for so so many years. They are probably not ever going to fulfill your fancy or gourmet donut craving the same way that the new croissant, bakery, or fresh homemade tasting cake donuts would, but they also satisfy a sweet tooth craving pretty well! The chocolate covered kreme filled donut is my favorite, and the original glazed is astounding when they are hot and fresh (or just pop one in your microwave for 7 seconds. It has to be 7. Trust.). The jelly filled makes for a great breakfast and the chocolate iced with sprinkles is so kid friendly! I ordered a customized dozen box earlier today online (so easy on the app or the website and you get to pick it up at a specific time). Order and pick up was easy! Unfortunately even at 11 am on a Wednesday, they were out of one of the donuts I wanted. I was also pretty disappointed in the filling in nearly all of the donuts in the box that were filled with something or another (be it the jelly, kreme, custard, or lemon one) because the filling really only "filled" half of the inside of the donut AT MOST. One of the chocolate covered kreme filled only had filling in 2 small bites worth. It was only on one very small edge side. The chocolate topping on it was also very scarce (kind of visible in the photo I snapped too). Is it a make or break thing? Nope. Will I still eat donuts from here? You bet. Sometimes you just get a donut that hasn't really met your expectations, but that just means you gotta eat another one and another one until you find one that is better, right? read more

I received fast and friendly service!! Loved the assorted dots and my 3 free birthday original glazed they were so soft and when I opened the box they smelled of marshmallow it was so good. This place is ridiculous! If I wasn't on a time schedule I would have gone elsewhere. The front door is locked! Asked for the Game Day dozen as it is Super Bowl Sunday and they won't have for an hour! Wanted a half dozen cinnamon rolls, they were out. Sitting now in drive thru forever and they are still talking to lady in window. This is the first review I've written for a place having not actually eaten at. This is because I have been twice and been ignored in the drive thru both times. By ignored, I mean there are people with uniforms and headsets on inside with the lights on and they literally look at you and then go on talking to each other and pretend you're not at the window during business hours. This is not what a KK is suppose to be! Light on, no free donut. Let behind counter this morning 5-22 was rude. The custard filled tasted like it was mixed with raspberry. The shape is not traditional and looks like they were trying to save on dough and made them misshaped. Filling was only half full. The glazed were very thin. Coffee is absolutely horrible! We visit lots of Krispy Kreme's and this one is terrible. Customer service is not good, as we always feel we are "bothering" them by ordering. We constantly go in with the advertised specials on our phone and they are never honored. Ex: We dressed in red, white and blue for 4th of July and showed the girl the advertisement to get a free doughnut. She told us they don't do those things. We left and went to another location and got one, and another free one because we had to go to 2 to get the special. Doughnuts are usually ok but we have gotten a few that tasted days old. I've been a fan of Krispy Kreme sine I was a kid in the 60s. Spent many a day and skipped part of church to go to the shop next door on Gallatin rd. Their glazed doughnuts fresh baked are as light as air and delicious. Love the filled ones too. You wont find a better tasting light glazed doughnut especially when the "hot now" sign is on! I picked up a pick up order for my mom this morning around 9:30am. From jump the customer service was awful, the woman at the counter barely spoke, only when I spoke to her. My mom ordered two dozen donuts (one glazed and one assorted) from first inspection the donuts were extremely small and odd shaped. The donuts were also cold and hard and tasted stale and as if they were cooked in very old oil. The overall energy in the Krispy Kreme store was extremely negative. I have two Krispy Kreme's that are close to me, one near my office at work and one near my home office. This one is closest to my work office and yesterday was a holiday so I thought why not get some holiday donuts for the office. I've attached pics of the Valentine themed donuts which were so cute. The white and pink frosted were crème filled but the others were not and that was really disappointing. I read the description after I got back to the office and it doesn't say specifically that they are supposed to be filled but it's a really missed opportunity on Krispy's part because these would have been magnificent with filling. Whenever we have a function at the office this is our go to Krispy Kreme. We have never had to wait long and if so it was because we visited during peak hours. They are conveniently located at an intersection so you don't have to cross traffic without a light to get over to the building. If there is limited parking or too much traffic to get in and out of a place I just won't go, which is why I find it difficult to navigate downtown because I don't like not know for sure I will find a place to park. Things to note about this location: 1.) Dining area is closed, meaning you have to go to the drive-thru for anything you need. 2.) If you go during peak hours(breakfast or lunch) you may have to wait which can be a line to the street. 3.) This location used to be 24/7 but they are now 8:30a-7:30p Mon-Sun, so no more 2a donut runs. 4.) Hotlight Hours 8a-10a, 4p-7p Mon-Sun, get 'em while they're hot. 5.) Don't use the Krispy Kreme website to order delivery, use a delivery app, if you have issues you will have way too much trouble getting a refund. With a delivery app such as DoorDash they will easily resolve issues the same day. Get out there and get ya some donuts and stay safe out there! read more

My boyfriend and I stopped here in the drive through and they were really fast! The doughnuts and frozen coffees tasted amazing! So you're eyeing Krispy Kreme and you stumbled across my review. First of all thanks for stopping by. Second of all, my review will hopefully provide you information that will make you wiser. I'm a simple donut guy. I don't care for eclairs, filled, crullers, fritters, or any of that. I just like a simple glazed original donut. And if you're like me, Krispy Kreme will ALWAYS be the king of the original glazed. Why? Because they are light, airy, melt-in-your-mouth, and not overly sweet. Not to mention they are made in-house. And if the fresh donut sign is lit up, buckle your seat belts because there's nothing more special than a hot KK Original Glazed. They are so good, consider them to be a great substitute for an actual dessert. For those of you that didn't know, not a single donut from Dunkin' is made in-house. They are mass produced and shipped to each store. Depending on where they are produced, the donuts are already a few to several hours old by the time they get to the store. They tend to be "cakier" and not as "fresh". This isn't to say Dunkin' isn't good. They are. If you're interested in anything but an original glazed, DD blows KK out of the water because they've perfected the other varieties. But back to my review. I'm a simple guy who likes a simple donut. And because of this, KK will always reign supreme. They do have plenty of other options for alternative donuts like DD. My only problem with this location is that it's closed due to COVID protocol, even as I write this review (July). What also sucks for KK is that their other options for breakfast that's non-donut related kinda stinks. At least DD has breakfast bagels and sandwiches. read more

At $15.00 plus a dozen you would think these "irregulars" would have been discarded and not passed on to customers. In the area today and decided to give them another try. Did the drive through and was not impressed with the donuts I got. Got a mixed dozen paying $18 with only 3 jelly filled and the rest were not filled but had chocolate covering. The chocolate was not set up, very messy and one of my jelly filled was not. I hardly ever see the fresh donut sign on. The outside landscaping was not kept up. The building looked abandoned. I love it when their "Hot Now" sign is on! I'm a huge fan of their Original Glazed. They taste even better when they have just been made. Hot, light, fluffy, and the perfect amount of sweetness for a doughnut. These doughnuts melt in your mouth and it's almost always too difficult to eat just one. The cashier here was very kind and professional. He was quick to take our order and had our doughnuts ready in no time. This location is small. My order with the donuts was completely fine. Delicious as always. My problem lies within the attitude of the employees that were working on the evening of February 25th. The way that they speak to the customers is unacceptable. There was no sense of being polite. Something as simple as replacing "you need to wait" with "one moment please" goes a long way. I understand that they're younger and probably have no idea even how to be polite or work in customer service, but it's about time they learn. That was an awful experience.
