Never had or tried krispy kreme before, and a free donut is a chance to try one. Hint: you know that they are giving out free donuts when the red sign is lit outside. Anyways, walked inside, and the employee knew that we were here for free donuts and it was very enjoyable, and tasted fresher than a dunkin donuts donut. I enjoyed it! Stopped in here on the way back to the hotel. Plenty of parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. It was very clean inside. The staff were mostly helpful and friendly. There wasn't much of a selection when we got there because it was later in the day. Donuts are made in front of you. It was cool to watch the whole process. We only got the glazed. Across from the Highway 501 Tanger Outlets, this Krispy Kreme does a good business, but I've never had to wait too long for my donuts. Ask for a hot donut right from the line and they'll oblige you at this location. This location also has a drive thru! This is a large location with plenty of parking and indoor seating. Inside air conditioning rocks hard all summer long so it's nice and refreshing indoors. Try the sour creme cake donut and thank me later. read more

Visited the Krispy Kreme (KK) on 101 Rodeo Dr across from the Tanger Outlets. While we are longtime lovers of KK and every one I've ever been to has been immaculate and the doughnuts are coming fresh off of the conveyor belt, this location was in complete disarray! When I was in elementary school my class took a trip to KK and I recall the KK in Va Beach would trash any doughnut that so much as had a dimple! The doughnuts coming off the conveyor belt literally looked like biscuits and from there they were glazing them and putting them in boxes. There were "doughnuts" and large heaps of dough on the floor. I will say the employees were incredibly kind and courteous but No manager in sight. It saddened me to see a KK in such a disgusting state! I hope the owner knows what's going on!! read more

Wow, this was the rudest experience. I ordered 6 donuts: 2 glazed, 2 pumpkin cheesecake and 2 pumpkin cinnamon roll. Easy enough order right? Apparently not. They gave me 5 donuts. 4 glazed and one pumpkin cinnamon roll. Luckily I opened up the box before driving away. The person at the window was visibly annoyed, went and grabbed two of the pumpkin cheesecake donuts tossed them in a bag and quickly handed them to me. What about the other pumpkin cinnamon donut? So I waited for another 5 minutes for her to bother turning around to see I'm still at the window waiting on the missing donut. She then grabs my receipt, walks off in a huff, and throws the cinnamon roll donut -- icing and all, into a bag. So I leave with a giant mess of icing everywhere and this is the last time I go here. I'm not really sure where to begin, I guess you can look passed the sticky floors, and mold on the ceiling from the leaking ac vents, when you get to the register the only thing we were greeted by was a young man on a cell phone and a dumbfounded look as if we were expecting too much to be taken care of. The manager did change out the cash draw while we (7 of us) waited. After we cleaned our own tables I took my son to the bathroom to wash his hands and at that moment I had to leave, not only was there shit all over the toilet it was all over the faucet as well. I go here all the time. This is a big location with plenty of seating inside and they also have free WiFi. Bathrooms are clean. This is a relatively new location that's been open for just over a year. It's across the street from the Tanger Outlets and is next door to a busy Chick-Fil-A. This location has a drive thru. Every time I've ever visited this location, it's been pretty dead inside and that's good, as I never have to wait. They make donuts in house in this location and the last trip through the drive-thru they actually gave me an extra donut right off the conveyor at no charge! Literally, sweet!!! Employees have always seemed to be friendly at this location and there's plenty of parking on the side, though it's a bit weird getting into the parking lot. Too difficult to explain, but you'll see when you visit. Note: there's a sign inside and on the drive thru window that says that this location will not accept Groupon coupons, but they will accept the coupons from the Attractions Grand Strand coupon book. read more

They took it back and filled as much ice as they could in the large cup and dumped the small into it. Lazy. Took forever. Didn't have many donuts. We stopped in there to get a dozen of donuts the other day. So Kreme filled and some other ones will the cream-filled had a little spot of cream in it and they were tasting stale they weren't soft like they were just brand new oh, also the coffee was really old they didn't have the time on the timer so they made a whole new pot brought the donuts to the table tasted one and brought it up to the girl at the counter and told her that they weren't even close to being good the cream-filled had a little spot of cream in the center nothing like the other Krispy Kremes we've been at they were out of the original cream filled the place is clean inside but it's just not run right it's not efficient it was Sunday when we were in there hopeful they get their act together or they will lose more business read more

First time in a Krispy kreme! Always wondered what the hubbub was all about, I'm still not sure. The doughnuts were pretty good and it was interesting to see how they are made. But the coffee was not good. We got one cup with cream and sugar (they put it in and loaded it with sugar). I presume to hide the taste. The other cup I got black to fix myself. Lobby service is closed so drive through is the only option. Took 30 minutes to get a dozen donuts. No concern for speed or customer service. When we mentioned the time it took, no apology for the long wait. If short staffed, a sign warning of long wait time would be appreciated. This Krispy Kreme is located on 501 right across from the outlets. They have plenty of indoor seating as well as a few seats outside. They do have a drive thru at this location, free WiFi and a clean facility which is always a plus. While on vacation in the area my family stopped 3 times and got at least a dozen donuts each time. I wish we had one of these where I lived. The donuts are nice and fresh, unlike some other donut chains. The staff each time was friendly and one time because we filled out a survey on the receipt next time we went in after we bought a dozen donuts we got a dozen of the glazed ones free. Waited 15 mins and when I finally got up to the window, my regular coffee with milk and extra sugar and two donuts were NOT EVEN READY.
