Listen, when I discovered that a brick and mortar Krispy Kreme was a short driving distance away, I jumped for joy. This was definitely a game changer for me because I was kind of sad when I first moved to Maryland and discovered there was no Krispy Kreme. People told me that Dunkin Doighnuts was pretty much the norm. This location has tasty doughnuts. Of course, like most, I prefer to purchase my doughnuts when the hot light is on. The first time I had gone to this particular, the drive through line was backed up onto the Main Street. However, I parked and went in to a much faster line. this review is for the lousy customer service from jadyn at the register. not welcoming, looked like she hated her one job, she didn't care...so why work in customer service? or somewhere where you have to deal with people. makes no sense. all the donuts weren't fresh...which is deceiving since there's so many in the glass display and half the ones we wanted were "out". it was 5pm on a sunday..and you close at 10pm? ok.. we ordered a dozen and received several different sized donuts, half of which looked like mini donuts. we ordered a pro final filled choco kreme, there was absolutely no choco inside. seriously we came all the way to owings mill for krispy kreme but won't be returning. don't appreciated the rudeness at the front and the un-freshness of the donuts. it was just an ehh experience. read more

This is by far the worst Krispy Kreme I have been to. Rude and unenthusiastic service followed by them charging me $73 for a HALF DOZEN doughnuts. They rung up the 6 donuts 9 times and when I went back in they were of no help, and they do not answer the phone and actually ended up disconnecting the phone after my 3rd attempt to call so now it just goes straight to voicemail. I called corporate and formally escalated my case. Corporate was extremely helpful and apologized and immediately helped to resolve my situation after seeing that it was an obvious mistake. Do not go to this store, there are other establishments in the nearby area that are much better and will serve their customers much better. Join the line! There is a line for the drive thru out on Reisterstown Road and when you go inside. We went inside and joined the line. While waiting we watched as the doughnuts were made. Customer service was great. They had a photo section for visitors and a DJ outside playing music. The doughnuts were delicious! Original glazed is still the best. read more

Line was long at 3:45pm on a Saturday but I wanted to be there in time for the hot donuts. Called ahead of time to make sure I was able to get an Apple Fritter this time (sold out on my previous visit) and the manager insured they had them but to get here quick because they're selling fast! Ordered a dozen and six were the fritters only to be told they ran out and only have one for my purchase. Gave me six free donuts for my inconvenience--the one donut I did get was soooooo delicious! Really?! I waited in line to place my order. I was advised that there were no apple fritters (even though there were 4 in the case) so I bought a filled donut. As I was waiting in line for the donut I purchased to be placed in a bag, I overheard that they were running a batch of fritters through. The line inside was long now so after a 10 minute wait to get my bagged donut, while the employees wandered aimless about behind the counter, I got into the drive through to get my fritters. After a half hour in line at the drive through and having moved only three car lengths, I gave up, got out of line, and left. It's been open for a week now and is still super crowded. I waited in line inside the store for 15 minutes. The drive thru line was really long - 10 cars waiting which poured onto the road. I went at 9:00PM on a weekday. They had 12 workers working despite how packed it was. The donuts were AMAZING, super soft and warm. It was worth the wait. I'm want to give you my honest review of their doughnuts but I can't. I went there three weeks ago to try the strawberry doughnuts at 4:00 pm and was told they were out. I went by this morning at 8:00 am to order their graduation doughnuts and was told they were not ready yet. Do this location really have doughnuts? Can Krispy Kreme start listing hours certain doughnuts are available instead of certain days. Delicious donuts and beautiful store but horrible, rude, and incompetent service. I would highly recommend the store manager have additional training in customer service. We ordered the 2 dozen donuts meal with a free coffee and initially didn't want the coffee. After picking out our second custom box of donuts my husband decided he would like the coffee and after waiting 5 minutes a different employee told him he said he didn't want it. All 6 had on masks but only 1 had it covering their mouth and nose the rest had it hanging off their ear or just covering their chin !! I love Krispy Kreme but the online order I placed for delivery did not go well. Order was placed days in advance but on the delivery date they didn't have everything I ordered and they only attempted to notify me at the last minute. Isn't the point of ordering early so that they reserve items for the orders? With the reopening of this Krispy Kreme location, you can only expect for supreme excitement of somebody who clearly understands the difference between a regular donut and a warm Krispy Kreme doughnut. We had driven by this place a few times in the past couple of the weeks very happy for them because the lines were so long that it trailed up Reisterstown Road. We finally mustered up the energy to go sit in the line for the 25 minutes plus this past Sunday. We quickly realized that yes, the business was hopping with customers but no, it shouldn't take 30 minutes in the drive-through. We attribute this to the learning curve of the new employees that are working at this location. They are very pleasant but there's a lot going on and the majority of the times that we have been up there (three) there have been more than enough employees to take the order but it seems to be more of them standing around trying to figure out what to do versus taking care of the customers. (Think of the old joke how many electricians does it take to plug in a lightbulb)not a knock against employees... But more a point towards management as far as guidance. Example: this past week and went, we ordered two coffees and a dozen donuts. It took a full minutes For the person at the window to get us our coffees when they realized the wrong size was given...5 full minutes. The donuts came quickly but the confusion came with them originally handing us two small coffees one we ordered two medium. There was no reason that it should've taken five minutes and held up the rest of the line while the line snaked down Reisterstown Road. I'm hoping they tighten up the flow for order to payment to product delivery... Otherwise I'll wait until there's not a lot of people there and, hopefully, The process will be a lot smoother. We pulled up and there was not a single car in the parking lot. There was one car in front of us in the drive-through. It took over 10 minutes to get our donuts. I asked the woman at the window if there was a problem and she was rude and ignorant and said it takes 10 minutes to box 4 dozen donuts. She took her time and made us wait longer because I question her just to ring my credit card. I will never go back and no one should ever give this place anymore money.
