Located about 1 hour and 27 minutes from home in Pennsylvania, this Krispy Kreme made for a fun family outing worth the drive. Parking is easy and plentiful, angled spots on one side of the building that never felt crowded during our visit. The inside is spacious and well laid out, with comfortable seating that goes beyond just basic tables and chairs. You can see the donut assembly line from inside, which is a cool feature, though during our visit, the famous "Hot Now" light wasn't on and we didn't get to watch the donuts being made. We could see them in the machine prepping to be cooked, but missing the full process was a little disappointing since you really have no way of knowing in advance when the light will be on. On the bright side, we got complimentary Krispy Kreme hats for the kids, which was a fun little bonus. The restrooms were clean and wheelchair accessible, though it's a single-occupancy setup. Most importantly, the donuts were delicious! Overall, a great experience for a family trip. Worst iced coffee I think I've ever had :*( I have a tough time when places put an iced coffee on the menu, charge over $3 for it, and then put old warm coffee in a plastic cup with ice that melts in a minute. stick to the donuts and hot coffee but get your iced drinks somewhere else imo :) read more

The drive through is a nice touch for when you need a sweet snack on the go. I was disappointed that the donuts I was served were not hot. Im not sure if that's something you need to ask for or what, but I could have definitely gone to 7 eleven and gotten donuts off the shelf for all of that. This could have been a 5 star experience. However, there were about 8 employees and NO ONE greeted me when I entered nor when I stood at the register. There was no one at the register and a simple acknowledgement or a statement that someone would be with me soon would have made a difference. I finally asked the group of employees who were huddled near the front how to order. The woman who appeared to be the manager pointed at a woman in the back and said "she is working." I waited and that person finally came up to the register. My exchange with her was pleasant, and the donuts were fine overall but the process of ordering and the entire customer experience was terrible. It was a little after 9am and there was 1 car in the drive thru and no patrons in the restaurant so I can only imagine how service is when they are busy. This was a request from my son on our trip back home from DC. He found out that Krispy Kreme offers 1 free donut for every "A" on your report card up to 6 A's, up through the sixth grade. So he and his sister brought both their report cards with them on our trip. We stopped and honored the report cards and we got a dozen donuts. My wife and I purchased other ones on the side of the dozen. The lady working the register was more than friendly after my son asked her about the policy. This was an exciting part of our trip. What a nice day to take a drive. Headed here to pick up my free dozen of donuts and an extra free donut from the app. I arrived and the parking lot was empty. I walked inside and no one greeted me. I was checking out the display counter when another customer walked in and proceeded in front of me to be waited on. Once the cashier came over to the register she proceeded to wait on me first. She knew that I had been waiting patiently. I was a little unsure how to use the app but, the cashier helped me through it. I was able to receive a dozen donuts in one transaction and the free donut from the app in a second transaction. The process ended up going smoothly. The dozen were glazed only. My separate donut was a chocolate cream filled. I had so many donuts that I was able to share with my sister, niece, son, aunt and neighbor. These fresh and delicious donuts made everyone smile. This place is insane. It was 10:30am on a Saturday and the drive-thru line was outrageous (I guess I figured donut time was between 7am-9am) I went inside to order and the line was crazy, too. Moved pretty quickly though and by the time I gave my order, it was ready at the pickup counter. Talk about efficient! I was mesmerized by the conveyor belt moving all the plain glazed donuts along. Neat stuff. About the donuts... they have more than plain glazed. I guess I live in a donut bubble because I had no idea. When I got to the front of the line, I couldn't pick. The birthday cake donut (what?!) is back on the menu. Ok, so I ordered a dozen custom donuts (no judging) and it was great. They were all good. Some glazed, others with sprinkles and some cream filled. That birthday cake donut though... ridiculous. One of those and a glass of milk and you're golden. I came here because I had a sweet tooth, Lol. I remember this being here in this same location years ago, they closed down for a couple of years (Why I don't know) so glad they are back. They have a large variety of doughnuts to chose from. My favorite of course is the Classic Glazed doughnut, can't go wrong with that. You can buy them in other stores prepackaged but not Hot and fresh right off the conveyer belt. I'm happy they are building more in different locations. I am not sure what Krispy Kreme others went to, but besides the 90 minute wait the doughnuts were awesome! While waiting in line I had Khadejia giving out free samples! How awesome is that to eat while you wait. I got a chance to watch how the doughnuts were made while standing in line. It reminded me of when I go to Hershey Park and go to the Chocolate house and watch how it is made. The line inside went faster to me than the drive-thru. The Customer service was 100%. The employees at Krispy Kreme treated me better than half of my family members. I think they are secretly in competition with Chic-fil-a and their customer service. So of course the regular glazed doughnuts were good.. But the Cake batter ones...... Spent 20 minutes in drive through in time between ordering and getting my ONE dont and coffee. Got no napkins, nothing to stir coffee with. One employee inside was leaning on the counter, arms crossed, lounging. A young male employee was "filling" a box of donuts (dozen). Moved very slowly around the back (what I could see from window), and never saw him put a single donut in the box. Certainly in no hurry. These light, fluffy, airy, pillowy mounds of goodness are obviously as fresh as they can possibly be. They also keep well for a day or two. Has anyone else watched donuts go in the trash at this location? We stood at the window 37 minutes and literally counted more than 200 donuts go in to a recepticle that we thought may be storage but we were told was the trash. The employees acted as though it was a normal occurrence.... I asked the manager and she said, "well it's just something that happens at the end of the day." It actually wasn't the end of the day, the restaurant was scheduled to be open another 4 hours. Why not just halt production? In this day and age of starvation all over the country this seems to be so irresponsible. If Krispy Kreme has no accountability process for their dough or donuts maybe they should give away to the homeless or give to children's organizations as fundraisers. The donuts we were served were also not fresh, a couple of choices that we requested were not available and the blueberry were way too sweet.
