We stopped by Krispy Kreme Doughnuts today and had a very positive experience. We ordered a dozen assorted donuts, a half‑dozen assorted donuts, and assorted mini donuts. They had a large selection of donuts available, which made choosing easy.When we went to the counter to pick up our order, we were informed that the assorted mini donuts were not available and that only mini glazed were in stock. Since the assorted minis are a bit more expensive, the staff went above and beyond and offered us 24 mini glazed donuts instead of the 10 we originally ordered. That was a really nice and unexpected gesture.The customer service was friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated how they handled the situation. Overall, a great experience, and we'll definitely be back for more donuts. read more

I was in NJ with my 85 year old mom, for our weekly weekend excursion to Dollar Tree in Paramus. I had to tinkle and they did not have a bathroom for their customers. While driving on route 4 West, Krispy Kreme was front and center. I'm not a Halloween Girl, but was excited and thrilled to see their decoration; upon entering their donut shop. My response was...WOW! How cool (see video below). What was more exciting was, meeting Joy and her coworker. Their winning smiles, when I approached them to place my order. Joy was thrilled that I was visiting NJ from NY. She laughed out loud, when I told her that I've been visiting NJ when the GWB was only $4. Now it's $17.. I told her that I need to use the restroom, that was gender neutral, cleaned with a heavenly scent of disinfectant. My heart was elated as my mind too, because using a public bathroom that's clean and fresh; will always get an A+++ from 99% of women. My Krispy Kreme donuts were fresh, warmed, and delicious; and well served to me. Along with my fresh cup of coffe, that was much needed, a calmer that relaxed me around my mom; and enough cream to turn it pale. The way I enjoy my coffee, 1/2 cream, 1/2 coffee. I placed an order, for the special july 4 doughnuts, on july 1, for a party on saturday. the party was cancelled that same day. i emailed the store, using the confirmation email they sent me. I told them the party was cancelled and to cancel the order. I didnt hear back, so i again emailed them on the 2nd and 3rd, asking for confirmation of the cancellation. This morning, july 4, they delivered the order. the delivery man didnt speak english, as i tried to refuse the delivery. He must have almost dropped them because they were smeared when i opened them. After work on Wednesday, I stopped by after work to surprise my husband with the Ghostbuster Speciality Collection donuts. That morning, he showed me a picture of them on Reddit and I knew I had to stop by here. This was my first time - not only at the Paramus location - but at a Krispy Kreme ever. I've driven past it so many times on Rt. 4, but never gone in so I really wanted to check it out... I had a mixed experience :/ The shop is pretty spacious inside with lots of seating and right now they have great Halloween decorations up. Because this was my first time ordering at KK, I figured to go inside instead of drive-thru so I could see what they had available and ask questions about how I should order because wanted the four specialty donuts but didn't know what the box sizes were or how to price out things, etc. In short, I felt like the staffers would have preferred I did drive-thru and not go inside because I felt rushed and as if I were bothering them by being inside (and I swear one of them made fun of me or my order when he was boxing them). Towards the end of the transaction, one of the staffers was nicer to me, but I was already ready to get out the hell out of there. I felt awful when I left and I most likely will not be back. Last Krispy Kreme I actually went into and sat and enjoy donuts was when I was in a regional overseeing Utah for a previous company...I was pleasantly surprised. Now if KK only served glazed donuts, they would own the market as their donuts own Dunkin's glazed. Upon trying the cheesecake donut it was a disappointment and the crème filling tasted lemony than desired. The chocolate crème was a toss up between Dunkin. Now some boutique donut shops near Cupertino would beat either but you are paying dearly for a donut. Glazed KK is still one of the better ones out there. Service is where KK throws the beat down on Dunkin...Tje Dunkin near Me has workers who look resentful and as a result I may take the extra effort to get better donuts, service and better seating. This is a pain since I am in the center of Paramus. The lady who helped me was cheerful and friendly and that goes a long way with me. Ambiance is cheerful and KK's this is "how we make it" approach works. It is inviting and fun. You can see the staff took effort to make KK fun for the people. Horrible service. Truly... came to the window and the worker was taking her bad day out on me and i was trying so hard to remain nice but the attitude was insane .... Service is not great here. Not smile , not helpful with refunds. There was an accident made when the charge for the free donut wasn't taken off and she told me I'd have to come inside after closing the window on the drive thru on my mid sentence. This Krispy Kreme is still relatively new so there's ALWAYS a huge line - at least in terms of what we can see of the drive thru via route 4. We went on Friday around dinner time hoping for less crowds, and there was still a steady line both indoors and outside for drive thru. Yes, it moves relatively quickly and yes, it doesn't hurt that they are giving out free glazed donuts for vaccinated folks. The outside was noticeably dirty (I sat down at a table and my pants got dirty and there were also many remnants of food in the parking lot), but in terms of covid safety everything seemed pretty safe. When I saw this Krispy Kreme being built I was happy that I will get another spot to find me some good doughnuts. Krispy Kreme doughnuts are honestly my absolute favorite for a national brand store where it doesn't mater if you are in NY or LA, because you get the same doughnut. You can be blindfolded and still be able to ID the dough and icing being Krispy Kreme. I as soon as I heard they were open I hopped in my car and went to grab some real early before the Sun came up and when I got here there wear people on line waiting for it to open. They make doughnuts fresh in this shop and you can see then on the conveyor belt moving alone and getting the hot icing pored on. And have the 'hot and ready' sign when they are making them. There's nothing like biting into a freshly made doughnut still with warm icing just dripping on your hands and chin. ;) They got a new Oreo doughnut and are always rotating there flavors and coming out with new flavors while maintaining the standard ones.. The drive through was not open at this time but that's going to change soon. read more

First of all how can you be out of original chocolate Kreme filled donut?? That's a staple at ALL KRISPY KREME LOCATIONS! Plus they were out of the original Kreme filled donuts. I had to stop in the very large long driveway to pull up the app and they were having issues. I had my four ways on and absolutely no one was behind me or came and the drive thru attendant had to tell me not to stop there because I'm blocking the driveway. Mind you there's 2 lanes and it's a large drive way. No worries! I won't returning here! I'll go the extra distance to the Rutherford location which is a lot nicer, has their staple donuts available even 5 minutes to closing and staff is friendly and helpful! Most donuts we got were stale and of the one's that weren't, most of the fillings tasted off. Our cake batter donut had lemon filling in it. We asked if they do the student report card deal as well, and they did not (so unfortunate), even though we were purchasing a dozen donuts anyways. Getting Chick-fil-A and then Krispy Kreme for dessert was definitely a great idea. I will definitely be back maybe on a Monday to try their Cinnamon Toast Crunch inspired donuts. A group of us walked in around 2:00pm for desert after Lunch and shopping at the 99 Ranch Asian store. The store was very clean and the donuts were delicious. But the service was horrible, the early 20 somethings would rather talk to each other then help new customers decide which were the best donuts and which suveniers we could buy out of the display window when you walk in. We asked what size t-shirts they had and was told they didn't have any but when we pointed out the ones in the display case sure enough they were our sizes but very expensive for suvenier and the donuts, Don't think we will stop at this location any time soon. read more
