It isn't often you leave a good review for a donut place but I have to give this #KamalaKnewJoeWasThrough in Tacoma kudos. I ordered a custom dozen and got exactly what I ordered. The only hitch was some old guy that slipped in ahead of me to complain about something in his order but didn't want any replacement. Why waste everyone's time for nothing? The staff was courteous and eventually got him moving along. The coolest part of my order is the donuts are still fresh and tasty several days later. Grocery store donuts would have been stale the next day but the KKs were holding strong days later. Definitely worth the premium. Great donuts and friendly staff. read more

Soooo a dozen assorted donuts are now $40? Every donut except sprinkle donuts are $.60 extra on top of the higher cost for the dozen. Doesn't make ANY sense. It's also disgusting that every employee has rotten and missing front teeth and can't answer simple questions about the donuts. It should smell sweet in there, not like decay and halitosis. Update Update! Ok well it is a very loud place for people with sensory issues but does not affect taste one bit! This is family friendly but not so sensory friendly! Restrooms are locked! But clerk will let you in if you are paying customer. I am a snob about restrooms being clean. It is better to go to restroom before coming. Donuts are incredibly good and there is always new ones to try. I came today to take my son for an afterschool snack. Donuts are a big "guilty pleasure" of mine and not something I have all the time. Tried to order on the mobile app but all the donuts were showing "UNAVAILABLE." I should have taken that news and went somewhere else. Decided to drive to the location and order and dine INSIDE. Unfortunately the doors were locked and a sign apologized and said drive through only was available. AGAIN I should have take that as a sign and gone somewhere else but I went through the driveway. Came here early for my free three donuts for St.Patty's weekend. Luckily I was wearing a mint green flannel because you don't get the free three without them. This place actually managed to drop a star from the last time I was here. They really need to clean the window next to the donut assembly line. You can tell that the oil has been there so long that the grease is caked on. Please, one of these nights just take a soft brush and scrub down the windows with water and Dawn. Then rinse. Scrub some more when you see the grease you missed, then rinse again, and squeegee. That window is half the reason people come so please, one of you managers, take ownership and clean that window right. read more

For one getting into the parking lot was damn near impossible because of the lack of room on the road and traffic from the mall and then when we went to the drive-through to order on the speaker, the screen wasn't even working and it had a Windows 10 homepage open We ordered our food. It was heavily overpriced 37$ for a dozen and a large iced caramel vanilla latte that looks about 8 ounces. I'd be be fine if it wasnt almost 1$ a oz that only took me three sips of the thing to finish it. They ran out of the very berry donuts And as a replacement I asked for strawberry filled donuts. They tried saying they didn't have them, they did then we got to the front of the drive-through and had to explain to them that's what we wanted so they replaced them and then after all that, we struggled to open the box and after we open the box we come to find out The bear donuts look nothing like the ad and the other seasonal donut just looks like a classic with whipped cream on it everything is overpriced for no given reason and looks genuinely like shit, as a established business the product should be held to a certain standard and this is most definitely not it... Krispy Kreme is one of those places that, when brand new, was so packed you could hardly get in. Now, it attracts people about like any other doughnut shop. And for good reason, as their doughnuts in general aren't remarkable...except...the good old plain glazed donuts, the ones that got customers to flock to the store originally. This is the closest Krispy Kreme so I normally order from here. Good donuts.. but they're not really friendly lol. Every time I come, they always look upset even when it's not busy. Great place to get consistently good donuts. We walked in and were able to select the donuts we wanted. On St. Patrick's day, we stopped by for a quick treat, 2 dozen donuts - one dozen of the glazed donuts and 6 chocolate and 6 maple donuts. In honor of St. Patrick's day, the donuts were green and the box was designed with a rainbow. Quick service considering the long line in the drive-thru window and families in the shop. My order was wrong! I drove 30minutes to get there SHOULD'VE WENT TO HAPPY DONUTS IN PUYALLUP INSTEAD! I Fd up! I placed an order for 2 dozen glaze and 1 assorted, I had asked for a bag and I couldn't see her bagging it. I paid for the donuts, I knew there was a special for glaze dozen: Buy 1 get 1 for $9.99. She offered my receipt and napkins I said yes, and she hands me the GIANT ASS bag which barely fit through my window. I turned back to say thank you after placing my bag in the passenger seat, she had already closed her window. RUDE! She had a strong RBF and personally it doesn't cost her anything to be pleasant for a moment for my transaction. I needed a bag so my daughter can carry it for her Jr high banquet which consists of a lot of preteens and teens. I get home and I open the bag, only 2 boxes! And the incorrect receipt! I am surprised to see low rating of this Krispy Kreme store. This is not my usual donut place, but my son was participating a hockey camp at Tacoma Twin Rinks and requested some donuts from Krispy Kreme. The closest store was this store. It was a stand alone store at the Tacoma Mall. There was plenty of parking space. The staff was very friendly and patient. I was trying to use a gift card that could be used in multiple stores. I thought I could just redeem it at the participating store. When I tried to use it, I learned that I had to send the fund to the store I wanted to use before the purchase. The staff was so patient with me to let me transfer the fund and then allowed me to go back in line to pay for my donuts. There was a long line waiting at that time, so I really appreciate the patience. I didn't eat in store, but from what I had seen, it was clean inside the store. While there was a long waiting line for donuts, it wasn't too noisy. The donuts tasted great, just like other Krispy Kreme stores. I don't understand why they got a low rating on Yelp, but I would definitely come again if I am in the area. read more

Haven't been here for a while, but came on a weekday to try to avoid it being so busy to try the new Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnamon Rolls.
