This location seems to always be busy, especially the weekends with crazy long line of cars. Haven't been here for a while, but came on a weekday to try to avoid it being so busy to try the new Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnamon Rolls. There was still kind of a long line in the drive, but I went inside, which was very quick. I was in and out. Service was quick and friendly. And those Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnamon Rolls were amazing! Those have been the best thing I've had so far at Krispy Kreme. Too bad these won't be available for much longer. read more

Pumpkin cheesecake was out, but they did have the old fashioned pumpkin. I really enjoyed it. My mom ordered an apple fritter and the lady at the front counter asked if she'd like one directly off the conveyor belt. Umm yes please!? She even asked her if she'd like a more chewy or crispy one. Staffing can be tough, but at least respect the people paying their hard earned cash and give them as decent of a product as you can. I continue to go here when I am in town however the customer service here is always lacking. This last time we drove through and the guy that helped us was extremely odd. We showed him our member barcode to scan to get points on our phone, and he acted extremely annoyed, grabbed my phone and left with it, apparently to scan it but I didn't love that he had to just take my phone away instead of just scanning it. Then he went back in to get the donuts, we are waiting, and then turned away for one second, he apparently was waiting for us and then annoyed said "Hi...", handed us the donuts and we said "Thank you!", he then said "Ok?" . I absolutely love Krispy Kreme even though they've been compared to eating Wonder Bread. Just sort of disintegrate in your mouth but that's part of the reason I love them. I don't have a Krispy Kreme within 20 miles of my house so when I was in the Tacoma area today I made sure to stop by. The only downfall is that they don't carry chocolate cake coconut glazed which the Issaquah Krispy Kreme carries. That said, I ordered an original and the raspberry filled. Great as always and the raspberry was actually coming out of the donut when I took a bite which is a good sign of a jelly-filled. Whenever I get over there - it's a must to get in line for drive thru - which is usually pretty quick, and usually has what I want. Every once in a while they are out of some things, but easy to get something else. Weird that in 8 months, they haven't fixed the drive through signs - but not really sure if that's a normal thing in Tacoma? I went inside once, much easier for me to do drive up - wanted the nostalgic smell for some reason, but was pretty disappointed with that as well as my question of overall feel of the place. My quirky self was uncomfortable, and chalked it up to being spoiled from my favorite location in Vegas... LOL! The donuts really went down in quality. We got two of the pumpkin cheesecake swirl donuts that were super small and two apple fritters that barely had any apple pieces in. The service was alright but the person taking our order made us the wrong drinks, which was on us we didn't notice until we got back in the car. This is a standard Krispy Kreme to me. I have read some of the other reviews and in our experiences we haven't had a bad one. The line can be a little wonky and hard to navigate especially with weekend traffic. Service seems pretty fast on the drive thru as when you pull up to pay your donuts are ready and the line moves quickly. The menu does not highlight available donuts inside. The glass on our last visit was actually swinging so I think it is broke. Bottom line if you are in the mood for a donut this is a quick option if you aren't heading to some place local! read more

If you're a Krispy Kreme fan then this place is for you. Their hot donuts taste great, however I can rarely get hot fresh donuts from this location. Furthermore, donut choices were limited on a Sunday after 5pm (when I visited). Beware the long drive-thru lines--service is usually faster inside. Due to recent Tacoma Mall additions, it is very challenging to access this business. Driving lanes and parking spaces are close and tight. Defensive driving is super important to avoid striking or being struck by another vehicle. read more

We kept getting advertisements for free delivery so we said why not we'll give it a shot. They were running the special with all the m&m variety's. Ordering online was pretty simple. The delivery time was about 50 minutes, but reasonable considering our distance from the store. After that things went down hill. 5 out of the dozen doughnuts were incorrect. In fact they added two peanut butter doughnuts replacing the m&m filled doughnuts that were ordered. Thankfully we don't have peanut allergies in this house but I could see where a surprised filled doughnut could go wrong very quickly. Two were supposed to be cream filled and we got jelly and custard, not even close to accurate. The icing on the doughnut for this post would be we have filled out their survey twice, and twice said we would like to be contacted and nothing yet. If they needed to replace some of the doughnuts in our order that is understandable, but perhaps maybe contact us and ask what we would like? Why send out a survey to waste more of our time if you are not going to take the time to reach out to us. I think $20 for a dozen doughnuts was a little steep in regards to the size of the doughnuts, we will probably not go back to this location. read more

Have been to this location several times now both through the drive-thru and inside. KK is an institution. It lives up to it at this location, but sadly, on more than one occasion I have been let down. Twice they were out of more than 1 flavor now, and this most recent visit the table and booth was really dirty. You should know how much you average to sell on a given day and I can see once in a while yeah you run out. But multiple times during different visits makes it a bad habit. The doughnuts never disappoint and always taste fresh even if they're not HOT NOWS! The exceptional service I received from Cassie was over the top! She was a very sweet girl who took our order then she was sure to give me my military discount and sold me on a frozen strawberry lemonade as well! It was always my Friday morning tradition to pick up a half dozen for my family. Now literally three Friday mornings in a row, they have had virtually none of the menu items available. Today was the worst, no Apple fritters, no cake donuts, no custard filled, no raspberry filled or lemon filled. Very unprofessional messed up my Order twice in one sitting , I asked for a simple chocolate iced ring donut and got a creams filled one twice through the drive thru until I went inside and then I was greeted by flies smacking me in my face left and right. This store didn't even bother to kill them the workers watched me get hit by flies over and over then greeted with an attitude. Very unsanitary especially since the donuts are made out in the open and sat to cool out in the open. They need to be shut down ASAP!! read more

The last two times we went here were abysmal. First, they only had original donuts. The second time they were opening late but the sign telling us that was in the drive through. You had to enter the drive through and then you were stuck as each car read the sign and then asked questions at the window. They should have put the sign before you entered the drive through.
