I received a text from my wife on the way home from work, that we were watching a couple of our grand kiddos, and they had put in their order for Krispy Kreme for the weekend. So I was asked to stop on my way home, and pick up a dozen doughnuts, from sprinkles to cream filled. Today must have been my lucky day, not only was I the only one in the drive through, but they had all the Doughnuts that I had asked for, and they didn't screw up the order. Now, it doesn't happen a lot, but enough that I have to check my order every time before driving off. Employees are not masked. Only 1 had a mask on. This place is sooo dirty. The employees were super rude and annoyed at having to fill orders. They were out of almost all the donuts. My daughter asked for a flavor and the employee was flat out mean to her, was passive aggressively throwing donuts in the box, and then just kept glaring at me, making pretty aggressive eye contact. I was very uncomfortable and wanted to leave ASAP. We just got a really bad vibe here and won't be back. Sad because we used to come here all the time / it's really going downhill. read more

I saw a review of Taco Bell up here once where it was "Dead" to the reviewer, well this place is dead to me. For the third time this week and the third different time of the day this place has not had it's advertised donuts. Why even have a menu if you don't have anything listed, even the non-seasonal donuts aren't available unless you are a 3 year old and want sprinkles. Just a suggestion here, if you constantly have the 3 same kinds of donuts for more than 3 hours, then they are obviously gross and maybe stop making them instead of what people actually want. read more

The picture I took at 9:25 am is the same as the picture I took at 10:06 am. One couple and one long winded guy in front of us. OVER 30 minutes to get waited on and no selection at 10 am on a Sunday. Contrast Lamar Donuts with this Krispy Kreme store. Lamar's was open on time with the display case stocked full of donuts, and an employee behind the counter ready to serve. Krispy Kreme in Thorton, Colorado was supposed to open at 5:00 a.m. today, but they weren't. An employee rolls in at 5 minutes after opening time, there were no donuts in the display case, and the store still wasn't open for customers to come in by 5:30 a.m. The drive thru was all that was open even though there were no signs posted stating that. Krispy Kreme has been closing their stores around the country and I'll bet this is one that is targeted for closure. read more

My last visit, the wait time indicated there were only one or two employees working but when I pulled up to the window I saw at least three employees standing around talking. Mmmmm..... Doughnuts............ After our trip from the Good Ol Lumber Skateboards, we head down to Krispy Kreme... We enter the store so as to choose what we want from Krispy Kreme. In the store itself, they have the machine, where the freshly fried doughnuts moves from one place to another by means of a conveyer system. They also have some seating area inside for patrons to enjoy their doughnuts and have some beverages. We ended purchasing a dozen of doughnuts for our personal consumption and brought it home. I absolutely love this location! Everyone is so nice and accommodating, not to mention patient! I am not sure of the gentleman's name that was working the drive through tonight (10/25/19 @ 9:30pm) but he was truly delightful and really went out of his way to help me decide on my perfect half dozen as some of my original picks were out of stock! I've been here twice now and simply can not get enough of your staff! Customer service like this is an absolute rarity now days and it's so refreshing to see and experience; I'm a hair stylist of 10+ years and hold high customer service expectations!!! It's sad to see this place so run down. Then sit in drive through line only to find out you can't select your own dozen. They were "too busy". Ummm parking lot was NOT full at all. (Other review from a month ago says the lobby isn't even open-tbh- I didn't look) After telling us what was in this prepackaged dozen, we paid and pulled out only to find there were no custard filed as she had stated. Here's an idea, put another menu back a few car lengths so people can make up their minds before getting to the ordering menu. This place needs to get its act together. Every time that I go here I feel like I have an issue. First was being double charged for a meal and the second is ordering a dozen donuts, half custard filled and have glazed, just to arrive at home to see this. The customer service or lack there of makes it not even worth going. I drove about an hour from northern Colorado and got treated like crap.

I honestly have no idea how this location remains open. If the Krispy Kreme corporation had any self worth, they would close this franchise. It is absolutely the worst Krispy Kreme in the country. Their recent remodel can't hide the problems in the kitchen. The last 3 times I visited, they were out of their Original glazed trademark donuts. The 'machine is broken' each time. I tried this morning, a Sunday at 6am, and the drive thru had a sign on it that said look over the menu, pull forward to order, speaker is broken. So I pull forward and have to wait for the two employees standing next to the drive thru window to stop their personal conversation (they were passing a phone back and forth). I asked for original glazed and got the machine is broken story. So I try to order different types of donuts and they are out of most of them. Does not accept coupons or honor national promotions and has a very slim selection almost all of the time. This location ON LONGER honors coupons that are sent to customers! It makes no sense that they don't take coupons that are sent to us from Krispy Kreme. If they know that my location is a Colorado location, why on earth are they sending coupons that are not valid here? The manager at the store told me that none of the stores in Colorado honor ANY coupons. This is a lie! I know that I have used coupons at this store in the past, but again, the manager said that "We have never accepted coupons" Maybe you have not, but the employees that worked the front counter did earlier this year, and last year, and the year before that. I know because I used them personally. Please stop lying. Also, this is a doughnut shop right? I think to be called that, you need to have doughnuts available for your customers, right? As of May 15th, not following corporate social distancing guidelines, needlessly accepting orders inside despite online pickup being listed as "at the door", and the drivethru open. They do not have a separate line for people doing online order pickup, and the store was crowded inside. They closed off two thirds of the restaurant to crowd people near the kitchen. My order was also filled incorrectly, half of my custom dozen was substituted without any notification, a fact I did not discover until returning home. read more

i waited over 30 minutes for a coffee and there was pubes in it. i'm extremely angry and grossed out about my experience.

The other day I tried to stop in here and they told me that they only had glazed and Kruler doughnuts. How is that possible? Wait... you are a DOUGHNUT place that doesn't have a variety of doughnuts? On a weekday morning? Was there a huge group of people who don't work that came in and bought every single doughnut? You have one job in the world, make the doughnuts, and you can't do that? I left doughnut-less. Tonight we went in and we were told that there were no fresh doughnuts, fine, whatever. Looking at the place made me gag a bit. There was a huge mass of dough and stuff (for lack of knowledge of what the heck it was) sitting on top of the part of the fryer where the doughnuts get flipped. There were burned doughnuts all over the floor in the back area, and some other doughnuts and crumbs too. It was very dirty and that part was gag-rific. The spinners under where the doughnuts get the glaze were caked full, more than usual, of "glaze" and needed to be cleaned. We got doughnuts because my kids' didn't care at all about the dirty situation and wouldn't let us leave without them. They were made this morning or last night, I am sure of it. I don't know what is going on here, but I would skip it personally. read more
