Very few donut options available on a Saturday before 930am. My daughter would have loved a sprinkled donut but none available. Luckily their pumpkin donuts are quite good but likely not what we would have chosen if there was more of a variety. read more

This place packs so much more excitement than you are anticipating, I pinky promise that! From biscuits and gravy (which I need to get my paws on immediately), to donut breakfast sandwiches, specialty cinnamon roll creations and pie made with their cake donut crumb topping! The staff are friendly and happy to explain any and all of the menu items. They have a great selection of different donuts, ice creams, and other pastries upon each visit. On one visit I was even able to custom request what the donut was filled with. Outstanding! read more

I have been back here three times thinking maybe I just caught them on the wrong day but every single time they were so rude, two of the times I left without even purchasing anything because they were just that nasty towards us. I've passed by this place for years and only thought about going in a handful of times. With the Urban Egg/Daylight Donuts in Thornton temporarily closed, this is the next closest donut specialty shop. COVID-related details: it's a small shop so they're only allowing 1 patron in at a time (I think it's 5 people if they're in a group together). They did have an employee come out to take orders if you knew what you wanted, but this being my first visit, I needed to see the case. Masks and gloves on all 3 employees that I saw. However, no sanitizer available to use (though you have to sign their iPad after paying with a credit card). I used some of my own. Their donuts are great! We love a blueberry donut - unfortunately they don't serve blueberry donuts on Sundays...but lots of options to choose from! My favorite was the apple fritter - we also got a maple raised, maple old fashioned, raspberry filled, chocolate raised with sprinkles and pink frosting (cherry? Not sure). Either way, they were truly all great. 6 donuts for just about $6. Not a bad deal! We'll have to be back soon for one of those blueberry donuts - and maybe to try the biscuits and gravy I saw a few people review. Thumbs up! read more

The service was awesome...friendly and patient as we asked many questions about the different donuts. They even filled a glazed with that spectacular white cream and it was delicious! We kinda bombed going here. The sausage donut is gross and the others are your standard Dunkin' type, but for a higher price. Nothing special. We have found that if you want good donuts here- Soopers or Safeway is the way to go for now. Maybe the area will step it up with real donuts one day. I cannot fathom why anyone would come here for donuts. The only good thing this place offers is the biscuits and gravy- which again is your standard. read more

The fake egg is about 2cm thick whereas the super dark cheese is 3 times as thick and stunk of raw dough. Glad I didn't end up eating this. My boyfriend likes the donuts occasionally so that's good I guess. read more

These are a step above -or maybe 2 or 3- King Soopers. The people making these donuts are very good at their craft and they work very hard everyday. They really do have a flavor that a lot of donuts do not. I personally like them better then krispie crème. read more

I used to like this little donut shop but the last time I went I was not impressed. The donuts did not taste as fresh as they had in the past. I also ordered 2 dozen donut holes. The girl grabbed a bag, put some donut holes in there, walked back towards the counter, turned around and added a few more holes and then finished my order. I left, came home and needed to split the holes between 2 kids (was hoping they gave me 1 dozen in each bag like usual). As I was counting them out, 18 is all I got. Sigh. Not enough for me to find their phone number, call them to complain and definitely not for me to then have to drive back over there for 6 donut holes. I think I will keep going out of my way for donuts as there are very few choices in the area. read more

I came in at 8:30 am on a Sunday - You would think they have a ton of donuts - and they did the case was full yet the lady who helped me said they didn't have any. What? Pretty simple operation. Cook everything once and done. Of the (4) times I've tried to buy a glazed donut only once did they have any and it was clearly old. Sort of a rickety place to be a food prep business ... just not a clean environment overall. Oh well. I had hoped for a better experience and tried enough times to conclude it's not for me. While on vacation in lovely Frederick, my best friend took me by this place to grab something Thursday morning. I saw a sign for a breakfast doughnut and thought it was odd. Odd until the gal that works there said that she bakes the doughnut itself rather than fry it and glaze it. Got the bacon, egg, & pepper jack sandwich and man, let me tell you.....it was AWESOME!! The doughnut didn't have the thick consistency of a bagel and was a lot lighter than a bagel as well. Good stuff and will try it again the next time I'm in town. This is little shop is what one would expect from a Mom'n'Pop store in a small town. The owner is always on site making the donuts, and friendly. In fact, everyone in the store is always friendly. A spectacular donut experience! The owner is very friendly and is always working. The place has a homey layed back feel and is always clean. Most of all, this daylight donuts does more than that... they have a breakfast donut (a baked unsweetened and very soft donut with your choice of bacon sausage steak egg and cheese) It's a 1000 times better than a Mcmufffin and under 3 dollars. On sundays until noon they have an omelet bar!... a must try, comes with toast. ... and finally the coffee is always on, and the uppity-tudes NEVER exist here! read more
