We were greeted enthusiastically by the entire staff and shown around as soon as we stepped inside. Food is primarily served as meals (1, 2 or 3 meat) and include white/fried rice, pancit (noodles & veggies), and 2 lumpia. We were a party of four and 3 of us had the Pork Katsu dinner. The pork cutlet had a crispy breading and a delicious sauce. The actual pork was bone-in (sliced) and super moist yet fully cooked. I had the Creamy Pork & Mushroom served over the rice. Oh my, definitely comfort food with a Filipino twist. Warmed my heart and my belly. The white rice was cooked well, the pancit was tender and delicious, and the lumpia was some of the best any of us have ever had. My husband had to try the chicken wings. Those were savory, sticky, and so delicious, unlike anything we've had before. The gentleman who served us said it was similar to orange chicken but, in our opinion, was so superior. I splurged and got an order of their samosas - spinach and cheese. Super crispy layers, chock full of spinach and melted cheese. Super yummy! I highly recommend people come here and try this place. Even if you think that Filipino food is out of your comfort zone, you still need to come by. It's a comfort food for our family because most Filipino food is familiar food with their own unique twist. The inside is quaint and cute, extremely clean, and the food is definitely affordable.

On our last visit, everything was pretty salty. I ordered the prime rib melt, but was very disappointed. Even the gator bites didn't taste like how I remembered them. The boudin balls were the saving grace. They were large (in comparison to the other boudin balls I've previously had) and very tasty. The sweet potato waffle fries weren't bad either. The health inspector must not pay attention during inspections. After walking past the kitchen and seeing a bucket of food that appeared to be etouffe sitting on the floor with no lid on it, a cardboard box of baked potatoes next to it, and see the waitresses spend more time circling up to gossip than actually paying attention to their tables..... I will never waste my money in this establishment again. Go try Big Thickett BBQ or another local spot in town. Watching the unsanitary practices by a waitress named Kaitlyn, who seemed to be in charge, and the laziness of majority of the group gave me enough reason to never waste my time having a meal here again.
