They would not allow us to sit at the bar while our baby slept in the stroller nearby, or sit at a booth while my husband ordered and closed out a happy hour tab at the bar. They also would not allow us to split orders -- for example, him ordering a couple of happy hour items at the bar while I ordered from the regular dinner menu at a table. The manager made no exception and was unwilling to find any reasonable solution. In the end, we were effectively excluded from happy hour simply because we had a baby with us. We ultimately had to leave and scrambled to find another place to have dinner at 7:30PM. The policy itself feels unnecessarily rigid, and the lack of flexibility or accommodation toward families was disappointing. Families should not feel penalized for dining out. I hope management reconsiders their policy, and how they handle situations like this in the future.
