We recently moved to the area and have been here 3 times already. We always order the monthly special for the whole family. Fried chicken is really good. The kids like it even though it's spicy. Jambalaya rice is a must-try. Potato wedges are much better than KFC's. Ordered through a delivery company so im not sure if it was them or that by the time it arrived to me it was just blah. We ordered chicken, biscuit, bone in wings, jambalaya, potatoes and gravy and the chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was so dry I was unable to finish it. The wings were so bad we threw them away as well. The jambalaya, mashed potatoes and buscuit were pretty good and the fried chicken itself seemed to be okay as well. I was very surprised at the quality of the chicken! Perfectly fried and not greasy at all. The potatoe wedges are nice and krispy! But my favorite would be the jalapeño poppers My daughters loved the chicken tenders. But their favorite is the mashed potatoes. The biscuits look and taste home made. This small gem is located inside the Mobil Gas convenience store, I visited them the first week of them being open. I had the 8 piece mix family meal, with mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese, my food was freshly fried and super delicious, the chicken was actually crunchy and tender and juicy on the inside, my sides were very Tasty and the honey glazed biscuits were absolutely phenomenal. Went here because of the good reviews so I expected it to be good but I should've kept my expectations low since it's gas station food but the reviews said other wise. The chicken tenders were very dry but good flavor they were probably sitting out for a long while though. The Mac and cheese was nothing special I didn't even finish it ,it tasted like those hot and ready Mac and cheese from the grocery store. The chicken sandwich was probably the worst for me it was very flat and kinda slimy from the pickles being under the hot lamp. bun was also soggy did not finish. The only thing we really enjoyed were the jalapeño poppers which aren't even on the menu but they were very good and the potato wedges were okay as well. We discovered this place online during the coronavirus outbreak. The chicken was freshly made and employees were attentive.

First time I've tried their restaurants. I liked the chicken and sides and would have given a much better rating except I don't like it when a restaurant treats it's customers like fools. I got an ad in the mail for $5 off the family platter. The in-store deal includes 12 pieces of chicken, 6 tenders, 6 biscuits, and family fries which kind of forces the customer to buy sides if you want a more rounded meal. The $5 off coupon is the same deal as the in-store platter except they only give 10 pieces of chicken instead of 12 (I got charged the in-store price), so you really don't get $5 off and since I had to buy sides makes me feel like they are trying to trick me into buying their food. I feel the same way when a restaurant nickels and dimes me to death charging for extra sauces, refills on soda, etc.. Locally they advertise with Apong's Philly Steak - which I really wanted to try as well. But, if that's how they treat customers - I'll pass. Fool me once - shame on you, fool me twice... read more
