Wow it was packed with so much flavor and freshness, every bite created new textures and tastes. YES, you will want to "drink the sauces" (as Vito S. says in his review). They should seriously BOTTLE THAT SAUCE!!! Sell it online. Work your social media! We wanted to dip everything into that sauce. 10/10: Sungold Tostada - stunningly beautiful and delicious. MY Personal Favorite - every bite was soo yummy and unctuous and crunchy and creamy and yummy. I actually dream about this dish, it's so freaking good. It's light and delicious. I want more. 10/10: Cauliflower Esquites - everything you want in their version of Mexican sweet corn. 10/10: Maple Habanero Quesatacos: A perfect brunch taco. Such a unique creation with that CRUNCH of the crispy cheese shell enfolded with the soft tortilla (almost like a naan bread), topped with soft custard egg and a subtle maple flavor. So good and super hearty. I crave this. 8/10: Chicken Tinga Tostada: It was delicious and juicy. For my tastes, it needed a bit more freshness, crunch and acidity. 8/10: Flan: Loved the perfect texture of the flan (smooth and custard firm), and the cherries draped over it. For my tastes, it needed a bite of acidity in the cherries/sauce. The cocoa nibs were a great crunch. Would have liked to add a bit of freshness too. OVERALL -- ABSOLUTE GEM! Please keep going and sharing your craft with the world. Yum.

Their pop-up restaurant moves around to various venues, like wineries and breweries. The service was very good, and Chef Taylor (owner) and his staff were super friendly and open to my feedback. We tried the Old Yeller ($14), a Wagyu beef hotdog served with chips and a sweet pickle. We also tried a bowl of their Wagyu Homestead Chili ($12), topped with cheddar cheese and jalapeños. Their menu primarily focuses on Wagyu burgers, but we had eaten a large breakfast, so we just wanted to try something smaller. I enjoyed pairing the chili on my chips with the red wines we were tasting. We enjoyed everything we tried, and I would love to check them out again to try a burger. Every local option I came across would only drop off the food with zero staffing for cocktail hour, buffet service, bussing, or a late night snack. Then an ad for Tisoy Curryative Cuisines popped up on my Instagram feed & I am so glad it did! From the very first message, Matthew the owner was super responsive & made the whole process so easy. He got back to me within 24 hours, his pricing fit our budget perfectly, & he even reached out to our venue on his own to confirm everything was good to go before we even booked. No issues whatsoever. It also meant so much to me to hire a Filipino owned business that actually knows this food rather than some generic catering company just claiming they could pull it off. On the wedding day Tisoy completely exceeded my expectations. They served lumpia during cocktail hour in the cutest little appetizer dishes with sweet chili sauce & honestly it tasted exactly like my mom's recipe. I never got to do a tasting beforehand so I was a little nervous but the lumpia recipe was perfect. Our guests were obsessed. The buffet setup was gorgeous & their staff served at the line which was great for portion control & kept the line moving fast. The star of the night was the whole roasted lechon. It was absolutely beautiful & cooked to perfection. We did a lechon cutting photo instead of a cake cutting & it came out so good. We had guests who flew in from the Philippines & even they said they could tell it was cooked by Filipinos. That honestly says it all. The staff bussed all the tables as dinner wrapped up & then came back out at 9pm with a late night lumpia snack that everyone went crazy for. The next morning I woke up & Tisoy had already posted a reel of our wedding on Instagram. I wasn't expecting that at all and it was such a sweet & impressive touch. If you need a filipino caterer who truly shows up, knows the food, & handles every single detail from start to finish, book Tisoy Curryative Cuisines. You won't regret it!
