I have been shopping at this Kroger since it was across the street and there was still a Pepe's Playhouse. Obviously, I am loyal. I have also been in retail management the entire time and understand the challenges of human resources, inflation and customer service. I shop at this Kroger for familiarity, coupons and fuel points. I have had positive interactions and many negative over the last few years. I guess our relationship is bittersweet. Lately, it seems like every other visit I am having to go back for a mis ring, price adjustment, moldy product... SOMETHING. They just need to pay more attention to details, accountability and for God Sakes... managers stop complaining in front of guests! read more

Even though I live in Dublin by Tuttle and there's a store close by, the vibe of this store makes me feel comfortable in every way possible. I've been shopping at this store for over five years since they made it a marketplace. The store is clean and shelves are stocked. I love the Starbucks cafe they have as well as the sushi bar, deli are and other features that keep me coming back. read more

9/9/25 Kroger, Sawmill Rd. Dublin OH. Milk was priced @ $5.79 per half gallon, and I was charged $6.59. The photo below was taken a week later, 9/16, and as you can see, the pricing is the same. But at the time of purchase, the DHA milk that I bought was right next to the whole milk and then as now, there is only one price shown. Ohio law requires that all items be specifically priced. On the same day, I bought a package of Purdue organic chicken. The photo, taken 9/10, shows a price of $7.99. I was charged $9.99. There is nothing there to suggest the organic chicken was being sold at a different price. The kid at customer service gave me a refund, but tried to blame the deceptive pricing on customers removing the other price tags. I'm calling BS. This is deliberate, they figure most customers will not catch on. AND the self-checkout is a harassment. Every time I go through, (and I'm done shopping there, btw) the stupid machine tells me over and over to scan every item before placing it in the bagging area, it asks me if I've scanned every item, it locks up displays a video of my on the scanning screen and won't let me scan until someone comes over and puts in a code. The attendant never checks to see if everything was scanned or not because they know the system is faulty. Basically, customers are accused of being thieves and I am tired of it! Kroger needs to take a look at the complaints and reviews and start taking them seriously. I am not alone. read more

I don't frequent this Kroger often, but I can say that I was impressed with the customer service of their staff. I came in to grab balloons, which I often do at different Kroger locations around Columbus. While no one was working the Floral Department, I was able to get assistance immediately because a young gentleman working in the produce section dropped everything to come help me. While he was filling up my balloons, I browsed around and discovered that this Kroger was very organized and clean. I loved that they offer the scan-bag-go option for shopping, which makes it easy to not have to interact with another human being... unless you want to. I also have to mention that I came right around 5PM and I know that grocery stores can get super busy during this time. While the check-out lines were long, they moved fairly quickly. I used to the self-scan check-out option because I only had balloons. The attendant there was really helpful and kept the line moving fast. If I lived nearby, I would happily accept this as my local, neighborhood Kroger. read more

The self-pay lanes were available for my huge order, but the one cashier was sweeping the floor and said there were no lanes open. Terrible prices, everything is so expensive. They pay their employees an unlivable wage. The food is never good there, except maybe from the Sushi section. The produce section has gnats, mold, and other unsanitary things. It is always crowded, and there is not enough lanes, so expect a 20 min wait when checking out. read more

Rude and obnoxious beverage department. Also, don't expect to get Kroger points for your liquor purchases. You are far better off, going to the local liquor store as prices are controlled, and you only get obnoxious treatment without the benefit of expertise you will receive from a true beverage store. customer service in this department is not at all what I've come to expect from Kroger. read more

If I needed help bagging my groceries at self checkout, then I think I would've went to a regular checkout counter. The worker basically groped my items weirdly and then afterwards asked if I needed help bagging them? And then they just stuck around, still touching my items like what are you doing? I go to self checkout so I don't have to deal with people like this, just odd behavior, odd customers, it's got weird energy. I know you have all been anticipating my review for this place since I come in almost everyday so I'm one of their "regular" customers by now. So you ask why I come so often to this location when there is one much nearer to me on Bridge Street? Well the service is much better here for one and the second is it's huge because it is the marketplace. Therefore my options are endless of things I can choose from when it comes to my family's needs. Another big reason I shop here is the quality of the food is much fresher. I typically get salmon at the meat and seafood department like 3 or 4 times a week and it's top quality and almost always on sale. So that is great for a picky eater like my husband, who is almost hard to please. I also get great coupons and savings here at Kroger. I promise you I'm not one of those extreme coupon ladies you see on TV, who comes into the store with like 100 coupons and saves like $100 on all her groceries. I just get coupons often because I shop here often so for example, if I spend $50 on my groceries, I will get $5 of my bill plus two other coupons just for the meat and seafood department and the health and cosmetics department which are $2 each. That's a total of $9 off my bill I receive each month for being a valuable customer here. In addition the fuel perks are great for when I fill up at the Kroger gas station or at a Shell station. I could save anywhere between 40 cents to 30 cents on fuel which is awesome. I love my fuel perks here. I take advantage of them each week. This is definitely a great local Kroger to shop at and I like that it is near my home so I can just get in and out whenever I need. It satisfies all my needs. read more

I am not a fan of self-checkout. Bridge St. only has self checkout. I had to call Abdi, the Attendant because the register would not accept my Listerine. Then I had to call him a 2nd time because the register charged me double for 2 bruised grapefruit from the clearance rack. He did not know the price and I didn't want to wait for confirmation. I suggested we forget the grapefruit. I said prices are high; you don't have an express line and twice I had to call you. He said, "Can I put the grapefruit in your bag?" He didn't charge me. THAT's outstanding Customer Service and the reason why I pop in--even when I abhor the self-checkout. read more

This Kroger in particular is really nice! The layout makes sense and the store seems pretty new. I've been into some rough looking Kroger's and they just make me cringe upon entering. I would much rather shop at Kroger than anywhere else, but they don't carry certain brands of specific things. So I have to go elsewhere to get them. There are two things wrong with this specific Kroger. First of all the speed bumps are NOT necessary. They were recently installed and are a giant nuisance! Secondly, the Kroger carts... I absolutely hate using the carts at this location. I try to avoid using them, but most of the time I need to. The reason these things are SO bad is because of the wheels on them. Either they pull to the left or right or one just doesn't move. If there were one thing to improve upon at this location, it would be melting these down and getting new ones. Other than that, the produce selection is great and they do a great job at keeping their shelves stocked. I might just bring a cart from Walmart to use at this Kroger the next time I visit. read more

This is one of the nicer Kroger's - it has a good selection of organic foods, craft beers, wine, and a star bucks up front. I've never sat in the "waiting area" which wigs me out, because it's a damn grocery store. This is my main place to shop for all my groceries, and as long as it stays the clean, well-stocked, variety store it's been, I'll always be back. read more

This place has the best customer service for any Kroger around. I consistently come back for the nice helpers in the deli/pizza and specifically Loretta. Being an avid cheese plate enthusiast it helps to have someone know so much about the products she carries.. she has me try so many new things! Huge, busy, expensive. So, a fairly typical Kroger. Don't get me wrong- they have a lot of good stuff, their meat is great, etc. But prices are always high, even on sale. And it's so big and busy that it always takes longer than expected. Today I tried to run in to grab a quick lunch; Kroger was the handiest stop. They have a decent selection of prepared foods and a lot of sushi, which was being made fresh in front of me. I got some, and it was pretty good supermarket sushi. Parking was crazy at 2pm on a weekday. Not sure if it was a rush of some kind, or poorly designed parking, or what, but man, it was hard to find a spot. I had also hoped to use the restroom, but they aren't anywhere near the front of the store, and I didn't have time to go exploring. Yeah, first world problems. I'm whining about little things. But this is the kind of stuff that keeps me from going to Kroger more often: high prices, crazy parking, etc. read more

I often pass this location on my way to work so I've stopped by during the morning and after work on the way home to pick up items. The card selection is slightly larger than some other locations. The store is large but still runs out of items during the holiday season. For example, they were out of Reddi Wip the day before Thanksgiving at 4pm. In all fairness it was on sale so I'm sure people were stocking up on it. In the mornings the u-scan registers are mostly open and it's easy to get in and out. Three aren't many people shopping between 8 and 8:30am. read more

I understand the need to reset the store periodically, however, this is at least the second time we've been through this since the store opened. The last reset made little-to-no sense and I got "stuck" in an aisle that had no exit. Go figure. I saw the opportunity to call my hubby and joke that I was never going to get out without help. (This kept me from being grumpier than the experience already made me feel...) Now, we are resetting the store again and not only has the inventory been sporadic in a lot of cases, the teams that are working are everywhere and regular Kroger employees can't be found. When they can be found, they're grouchy, overworked, and trying to wrangle the restockers. Even when the store isn't being restocked, the way it's merchandised has never set well with me. Prices are higher than competitors such as Walmart, Meijer, and others, and consumers have choices. Even with the double-points weekends, I pass on this one as often as possible. I really hate going there. Many of the employees seem less than thrilled, like me. As a disclaimer, I hate going to the grocery store. Any grocery store. However, if less pain is involved, I will tolerate it. Right now, I cannot tolerate the pain of going to this Kroger. Ugh. read more

This Kroger is way too slow and understaffed. Stuff I want to buy isn't in stock and isn't restocked when I visit a couple of weeks later. Expect to wait in line just about every time you go. I stopped using the pharmacy here because every single time there isn't a giant line that takes forever to move, they don't have a drive-thru for the pharmacy either. Absolutely my favorite grocery store in Columbus. Easily accessible off of Sawmill Road in Dublin. The workers are so kind and helpful. They have samples on the weekend and a great woman in the wine section who has a variety of new tastes available. The store is always clean and easy to navigate. This Kroger Marketplace was really nice and really easy to get around, but the last time I went into this location I walked in... couldn't find three things I was looking for and walked back out. Now, we're not talking about hard and rare items by any means... we're talking bread for christ sakes. This store is atrocious for switching their layout constantly, which leaves a lot of people scratching their heads, or in my case.. (thank God there's a Kroger's within five miles in every direction of this place... including the *shudder* Powell location just up the road) it just means a trek to a better location. Personally, I hate Giant Eagle, because their layout makes no sense, which is why I avoid shopping there in the first place, but if this store is TRYING to be like Giant Eagle, then that is NO GOOD! Me and my friends were buying drinks at Kroger early this morning, one of my friends is Arab, the other is Black and Arab, and I'm Mexican. We walked from school so we all still had our book bags on us. As my friend reached for her drink, a worker rudely yelled at me from across the isle while walking past the white teen boys and coming straight to us. She immediately assumed we were stealing. Since she strongly believe I had stolen and kept repeating that she saw me put something in my bag I told her to check my bag instead she kicked us out and embarrassed me and my friends. She told us she didn't understand why we had to come in early in the morning. This Kroger is right next to a very diverse school district and always treats the students of color poorly. I always hear that they check my classmates and friends bags before leaving but I have never heard this come from a white classmate. The entire time this employee was nothing but hostile and rude, we have never been treated this poorly at an establishment before. We're tired of being discriminated like this just for what we look like. Just know we won't be coming back to this chain grocery store. I thought better of Kroger and I've been completely starstruck at how wrong I am. This place isn't even worthy of a one star review for how they treat me, my friends, and classmates just because of how we look like this is truly unacceptable behavior and we shouldn't have to be treated like this. read more

First the negatives: *The lady at the bakery department carried on a long unrelated conversation to a customer (friend I suppose) while I patiently waited to be served 4 feet away. She then turned and walked right past me and ignored me call for help. She disappeared behind the back and never returned. I left without my daughter's bday cake. *The prices at this Kroger are notably higher than other area Krogers. Positives: *I was helped by a girl stocking the toy department above and beyond what I expected. *the place is fairly clean. The Kroger Co. family of stores are lucky I even still patronize their stores (which in most cases it's because I'm forced to), just as soon as I think things can't get any worse, they often do If you read my review about the Kroger on Hospital Drive, I mention how I went to the "guest and money services" desk to break a $100 bill, and even though we were obviously in line, they still refused to help us, and we literally had to demand service before we got any, well, it's even worse at the marketplace Now the following makes me rethink the "money services" part of the "guest and money services" desk means, they barely offer ANY money services Not long ago I was planning on making a purchase at another store, but the majority of money I was going to spend on the product was in rolled change. By this time, the majority of the banks were closed (at least all banks I had an account at were closed) so I took my change to cash in for bills, as soon as I get to the desk, they refused to accept my change JUST BECAUSE THE CHANGE WAS ROLLED!!!!! WTF? The clerk behind the desk said my best bet was to see if the 5th/3rd bank behind me would accept it, or to go way down to the other end of the street to a smaller bank they MIGHT accept it, so I turn around and get in line at 5th/3rd, as soon as I got to a teller, the first question out of the teller's mouth was "do you have an account with us?", being I didn't have an account with them, they also refused to accept the change, completely wasted trip Another time, I went to turn in some scratch off lottery tickets, there was a long line at the "money services" desk, so I noticed the lottery ticket machine had a ticket scanner on it, so I go over to it, scan the ticket, but after seeing how much I won, I couldn't figure out how to collect my winnings, so I ask how to do it, all they said was to scan the same ticket twice, they didn't say the machine wouldn't give me cash or a voucher, so I scan the ticket twice, and sure enough it went through, but now I was FORCED to buy another ticket (either scratch off or number ticket), I asked if there was a way to cancel (I wanted cash), I was told there was no way to cancel, once scanned into the machine, you have to spend all the winnings on more tickets, would have been nice to know that ahead of time About the only things "guest and money services" are good for is Ticketmaster, Western Union, lottery, store info, and maybe returns And be sure to watch the prices, I bought a bowl of mixed fruit labeled for $6 (and this is the regular white price tag, not a yellow sale tag, ended up costing $10 read more

Stopped in here last weekend with the hubby. He had never been to a Kroger Marketplace until we went here last weekend. This is an overall beautiful store. Came in today for the first time, looked into only 3 bags of fruit: one bag of cherries and two bags of grapes. All of them had copious amounts of mold. Not like a fleck, but being over run by it. I go here at least once a week...sometimes twice. They always seem to have what I need. Just recently...much to my excitement...they added a self service slushy/milkshake/soda bar. Nostalgic for me (I have always loved slushy Mt. Dew). They have an excellent beer and wine selection. I am not a big fan of the meat selection, however. The chicken always seems to be really fatty. I hate when I need deli meat too. They never seem to have enough people working and customers ditch each other. I try to go at not so busy times so I don't have to deal with it. The only other thing that bothers me is that customers just leave their carts everywhere in the parking lot. It takes lazy to a whole new level. I would think that the store would find it tacky to leave the carts all over...but apparently they don't because I rarely see anybody out there rounding them up. Overall this is the closest grocery store to my house and it is super convenient. I get groceries, gas, and my prescriptions filled here. If I wanted I could furnish my house here too!
