In addition to a couple of peach scoops, we also got a blue moo cookie monster (contains Oreos). The ice cream was good and very refreshing. There is a nice little seating area off to the side of the ice cream counter, as well as a few patio tables outside. In addition to the ice cream, this location also offers a convenience shop with some snacks and goods, plus some hot foods. Service was efficient and courteous. I was having trouble tracking down UDF's delightful peach ice-cream, so I was nicely surprised to find some at this location. On my way to the checkout counter, I heard angry yelling, so I paused and watched firsthand as the employees handled this unfriendly customer. There was an older gentleman who was using a cane, and upset about having to come inside to get his gasoline receipt. My guess is that he really struggles with walking. There was a mother and her two children purchasing ice-cream standing at the other cash register. She had her kids go sit down, I am sure to shield them from the scene. Even though this gentleman was raising his voice in at a seemingly irrelevant issue, it was obviously important to him. The cashiers and manager handled the situation with kindness and grace! They were very patient with this elderly man, and seemed to understand that he was trying to keep his dignity. Other than the fact that sometimes a few of their gas pumps are down, I've never been unsatisfied with my experience at this UDF. They have tons of ice cream, both ready to order and by the pint. The employees have always been kind and helpful. I haven't tried their hot food, but I like their fruit & veggie cups and other cold items. I'm here to review what we all really come to UDF for, the ice cream and shakes. My friend and I each ordered a cookies and cream shake, both because it's a classic and it was on sale (best of both worlds). After drinking the shake I really wish I would've just ordered normal scoops of ice cream. The shake was pretty liquid and not thick as a shake should be, probably needed a bit more ice cream than milk. And the consistency was between slush like and just drinking melted ice cream. This isn't to say it tasted bad, I mean you can't go wrong with ice cream and milk in any combination, but it wasn't the shake I imagined. The normal dips would've been more satisfying and aligned with expectations. The rest of the gas station is as expected, clean and has gas lol. read more

I love their selection of delicious ham dipped ice cream's, and it's fantastic that they still make their milkshakes and malts from scratch with hand dipped ice cream, as opposed to any convenience store, or fast food restaurant outside of steak 'n Shake. They also have a large variety of beer, wine, and soda pop in their coolers as you would expect. United dairy farmers offers a level of quality, and variety that I have yet to see matched, and I encourage everyone to take a look, and indulge yourself to support establishments like this in our community. I got ice cream once before at a UDF, but that was over 25 years ago - needless to say, I don't remember anything about the experience or what ice cream flavor I got. Stopped into this UDF specifically for a sweet treat, and the workers were pleasant and attentive. The one young lady was happy to give us samples; I went with a single scoop of their peanut butter flavor, and it was really good. I liked the thick shavings of peanut butter and chocolate as opposed to chips. The pb flavor was strong, just how I like it. There's no longer a UDF out my way, so I'm happy we stopped in. read more

We stopped at the UDF in Worthington for some ice cream. I was very impressed for several reasons. For one, it was very clean. Secondly, we were greeted and helped immediately. I want to specifically give a a shout out to the man who helped served us ice cream. He was very kind and polite. In addition, was very knowledgeable on the loyalty program and helped sign us up. When we were leaving, I noticed he was hustling to help another guest with their gas. Wish I had asked for his name so that I could directly compliment him (Cashier 240). read more

I came in here with my kids to get ice cream. This was MY FIRST TIME EVER in a UDF, and I must say, for a gas station/convenience store I was quite impressed. 2 of my kids ordered 2 scoops of ice cream, and no complaints about the flavor from either of them (being that it's a gas station...you never know what to expect). I ordered a small peanut butter shake. It was good too. The 2 gentlemen working both spoke English (unlike the previous review stated) and were very helpful. Me and my friends come here every Saturday after our youth group. We spend pretty good money and are always very respectful to the staff who are working. We were friends with the old night shift employees until they quit due to bad working conditions, and we still text them occasionally asking how they are doing. The new night shift workers, especially the woman are very rude. They kicked us out of the store even though we were just looking for stuff to buy. The worker made us tell her what was in our pockets and accused multiple of us of stealing. There were also Columbus police officers that were there getting gas. We thanked them for their service and one graciously accepted, however the other proceeded to lecture us about how only two people at a time were allowed in the store because we were going to steal. Me and another friend were waiting outside obviously upset but still remaining respectful with the officers. One walked away without a problem, however the other one got in my face (about 8 inches away) with a hand on his taser hip. I remained respectful throughout him accusing me of being about to steal, however I did not back down and I will not be intimated when I did nothing wrong. The whole experience scared a lot of my friends and just made the rest of us mad because consistent paying customers should not be harassed and treated like this. We explained this story to many customers as they walked in and many said that it was ridiculous and left. The female worker also came outside and just stared at us, making us all uncomfortable. Overall, this has turned us all away from UDF and this was a horrible experience with the police, being aggressive towards us 16 year olds for no reason. read more

I am in this place nearly every day as it is right up the steer and on the way to work. I also get most of my gas here, and whenever I have to run out for milk this is where I go. With the exception of one assistant manager, the staff is extraordinarily unhelpful. They barely speak english and do absolutely NOTHING to help you out. There is one lady who (despite the missing teeth and heavy lisp) is quite witty and friendly. As far as products go, ice cream is fun and handy, but really $5 for a pound of butter? do ANYTHING to buy your staples somewhere else. Finally, the gas. I understand the restrictions of the lot UDF is located on, but I have never imagined a less convenient location of gas pumps. They only have 4 pumps but if there is a car in two of them,chances are that you wont be able to get to the other two. The lot doesn't have enough room to turn around and you inevitably have to wait for someone else. And seriously WHO GOES INSIDE TO PAY!?! read more
