We started using Lucky's after getting really frustrated with Kroger's (Trump supporter & under…read moreinvestigation for pricing fraud) and Giant Eagle (meh), and now I've fallen in love. The prices are equivalent to (and mostly cheaper than) Krogers or GE; it's like Trader Joe's, but Local (and lots closer). Their produce is lovely & fresh (oh, those big bags of crimini mushrooms...), their staff is helpful & friendly, and they offer a lot of local & regional options to national/pricey brands. We've been shopping there for a few months now. If they only had pharmacy, they'd be perfect, but you can't have everything.

I think where this store really stands out is with meat and dairy products. Lots of organic choices and prices were significantly lower than at the major grocery stores. Some of the produce did not look the freshest to me. They also carry a number of Asian food specialties. There is no self service checkout and only one register was open when I visited, so I could see the checkout process being slow here if it was busy.

The absolute BEST item in the store is the ham salad! They make their ham in house and use it for the ham salad as well as sell it sliced. It's great on bread and crackers alike, you may even find yourself eating it with a spoon.. or finger ( no judgment here!) My only complaint is that it's very pricey. Yes, it's a small business and I get that. However, money only goes so far and choices need to be made. So, they are on a once every couple of weeks rotation for us. They have a punch card that gives you a punch when you spend $50 on one purchase. You do not get 2 punches if you spend $100 sadly. Once you get so many punches, you get so much off your next purchase.

I do think the fruits need better checking of spoiling so choose carefully. checkout can be self checkouts or with a cashier (which we prefer. my complaint is website!! one must mark your own coupons to get discounted pricing. I also have troubling finding the section for scanning our purchase. my biggest complain is the checkout for purchase!!!

Wonderful layout all produce in the back of the store and deli to the right of the store check out to the left there is also a place to sit and eat food behind the check out area which is cool! The employees were nice and engaging and friendly unlike most grocery stores where they just stare and barely want to assist you when u need help! There is self check out and regular check out also! Small parking lot and one way in and out which I don't like but I will definitely will be back!
