Mind you I have gone to Kroger multiple times and I've lived in this area for many years. I went to this location and unfortunately was treated differently. I was at the u scan scanning items and the scan clerk by the name of SENAA. Was Watching me like I was a criminal while I was scanning my items. My moms house is located between two Krogers. They recently built a bigger and new one on 26 mile. I actually prefer this one because I have been going to it for a few years. I am always greeted when I get inside, and employees offer to help me. I can find an employee easily, and if they don't know how to help they will find someone that does. Once, I accidentally asked someone stocking that wasn't a worker, and she actually helped me out. She knew where the item was that I was looking for and offered her advice. One of the managers is very familiar with my mom. My mom is always putting items on hold or ordering items on sale, which they let you do if it is a certain amount. It's funny because she always wins on scratch offs here too. The lines are never too long and they always have a lot of lanes open unlike other stores. I always find it funny that the bigger Krogers have so many lanes and only have like 3 open with long line waits at self checkout and each lane. I love that this one tries to get you in and out fast, so that the experience is better. I was able to stop in real quick and check out within 5 minutes. The shelves are always stocked when I go in. Weekends are best for me, but it is busier. They do have a lot of sale items on weekends. read more

This was a great Kroger store to stop in at on my way home from a 3 hour visit at Blake's. This location is off of Romeo Plank on 26 Mile Road and it is a huge store. I only shopped for a gallon of milk in the dairy Department and paid at my favorite= the u-scan. This store is set up the same way as the location at 23 and Hayes in Shelby Township. Maybe the next time I'm in the area I'll spend more time in here. Then I can shop, view and compare this location to my local Kroger and give some more feedback. It was busy but not extremely at 1:30 p.m. I'm sure it's a pretty busy store, since out here in this area are many subdivisions with many homes near Van Dyke or Schoenherr Roads plus other local well known stores. FIND ANOTHER STORE, I asked for some sliced lunchmeat, (while nobody else was there), the girl acted as though I was putting her out, took her time, and then slapped the pack of meat down on the counter while I was looking down at the pre-sliced lunchmeat. She never asked if that would be all or Thank you, nothing. So, I went on shopping, I later looked back to see she was on her cell-phone. I couldn't find any help in the Store to find an item. Then the ONLY Cashier they had open, was as almost as unhappy as the the Lunchmeat department. Going to another Store next time, these people are just plain rude and lazy. read more

I don't know if the pharmacy's under staffed, but the technician was very rude and short to my wife. After my wife told me about it, I drove up there and spoke with the technician. He reluctantly apologized. A month later I needed a script filled for myself & I found another technician there, to be less then friendly as well. I dropped off my script through the drive up window 4 hours earlier, to find that when I came back to pick it up, the order was still not ready! On top of that, it literally took them another 20 minutes to fill my bottle!! I'm going to go back to mail ordering my meds through Express Scripts from now on. Btw, I also went and spoke with the customer service desk about their pharmacy's lack of customer service & very rude behavior, given to my wifes visit. They said they'd address the issue. So far to date, I haven't seen any change to the better. Good luck to anybody who has to encounter speaking with the technicians. read more

This used to be a great store with an awesome Click List but that is no longer the case! In the height of the pandemic, when you think things would be a mess, they were great! The last 3 weeks have been a hot mess!! 3 weeks ago when I picked up my order they showed me what wasn't filled. Since that was a main component of dinner I had to go in to get something else. Not only did I find the meat they said they didn't have, I found 4 of the 5 other items they said they didn't have. Last week I placed an order at 9:10 AM and selected 3:09-4:00 pick up time. When my husband arrived at 3:55 to pick up order he was told " uh sorry were behind and your order won't be ready until 8:00-9:00" Seriously!?! That again was dinner and 4 hours later!?! Today I again placed the order early in the morning chose the 3:00-4:00 pick up. My husband received a call that the order wouldn't be ready until 5:00. There were items missing and they didn't give him a receipt! I give up with this store! Terrible because the people who work here are really nice - but with another store 4 miles down 26 mile it's not worth the headache! read more

I love this Krogers the most for their "manager's special" areas. They have 5 locations throughout the stores. One is in the produce area, one is located in the bottle return area, another is in a center isle bin in the dairy area, one of the isle near the infomercial stuff has all the dry goods and bread reduced, and my personal favorite is in the frozen section located on an end. These areas are a gold mine for all kinds of items at a deep discount. They may be boxes that are smashed, cans that have a ding in them, products close to expiration, or simply items that the store purchased too much of or that was shipped to them by mistake. For example, tonight I got 3 gallons of milk for $.99 each, good for another 2 weeks and 1lb packages of real butter for $.99 a package. I also got boxes of popsicles that retail for $3.49 for $1.29 in the frozen area and boxes of Green Giant frozen seasoned asparagus for only $1.39, just to name a few. This store can really help fill your pantry, fridge and freezer as long as you can get past the cosmetic imperfections. This is probably one of the smallest Krogers I've ever been in but with that said I'm certain you'll find whatever it is your looking for, minus sushi. No sushi here. Check out can be hit or miss, they never seem to have more than 3 lanes open but then again they only have a total of 8 or 9 lines. I told you it was a small store. They do have 6 self-check out lanes. They also have a pharmacy, Redbox, and that new online shopping thing where you can just park and pick up your groceries. That's cool but I do believe there's a fee attached. They sell a wide variety of liquor, beer, wine and lotto too. Something that I noticed at this location is that all the employees seem rather...dry. Is that the word? Like they are motioning through their 8 hours with no desire to talk or make eye contact.
