This was my first time here. I went with a large group of 10 (5 adults & 5 kids). Everyone loved their food. They have a kids menu, which is really nice. We started with edamame and the Fireball appetizer, which was sooooo good!! It's a deep fried avocado stuffed with crab salad & topped with spicy mayo sauce. I wish I took food pictures, but everything looked so good that we all dug in so fast that we forgot to take pics! I ordered the Sumo Smash Roll, which was gigantic and delicious! For my entree, I had the Wrap & Roll Poke Bowl, which was incredible! It was my first time trying a poke bowl, and it has made me want to go to more sushi/poke restaurants to eat more poke bowls! These rolls are fresh and generous in size! The rice and ingredients are very fresh, not like some places where they are using day(s) old sushi rice and the avocado is looking pretty brown. Plus it's nice to see rolls made the right size as they were intended. I've been to a lot of sushi places recently and many are shortcutting by giving much smaller rolls, low quality ingredients. I happened to be there when it was happy hour for certain sushi rolls so my order was inexpensive. Regardless of happy hour or not the prices are competitive and the freshness is there. Looking forward to trying their other menu items next like the teriyaki or poke bowls. The staff is ultra friendly and will bring the food out to your car. read more

Very disappointed on my experience here. I've been looking forward to trying the sushi here only to be majorly let down. First the wait was forever. This place is VERY small, 4 tables so either hope yo8 get one or call ahead fot takeout. After waiting for 35 mins to get my sushi, it was not edible. My spicy tuna roll tasted like some sort of cleaning detergent. I'm not sure if they had just cleaned the surface before they made my food (kudus if they did) but possibly they didn't wipe it all off because my sushi straight tasted like cleaner. Staff was very friendly and welcoming had a good conversation about what they use (fresh ingredients) and how things are going. Food was very good me and my mom split 3 rolls which were all equally very yummy. Portion sizes are perfect to just fill you up and prices are very reasonable (They also have lunch specials and Monday deals) Its small definitely more carry out but have the option to dine in very quiet and nice environment. Our party split a few different sushi rolls, a poke bowl, egg rolls, and edamame. Everything was delicious and well-presented. I'd never had poke before and enjoyed the portion I shared with my son. I'd definitely order it next time. The staff and owners were wonderful. The restaurant is was a comfortable and relatively quiet environment, so we could actually have a conversation. The service was the only good thing about my experience at Wrap & Roll. The food however, was really bad for my taste. Granted it's cheap, I've had better quality sushi for the same price (in the same area) before. The raw fish was stinky, it gave me this horrible after taste. I got the yellowtail scallion and it had red in it.I got a salmon roll and with every bite I had to clean my palate and eat a lot of wasabi. I usually always take my sushi leftovers with me but this time I didn't even think about it. As well, they had plastic ware (i got a miso soup and had to eat it with a disposable plastic spoon). They also charged us for a bottle of water as they don't offer tap water. As soon as I paid my bill, I ran to the nearest ice cream shop to change my palate. read more

I heard about Wrap & Roll from a friend of mine being that it was opening amid the pandemic. I will say that for the price and quality of the food it is a steal! I don't consider myself the most adventurous when it comes to sushi but the California Roll was very good! It was light and had a great balance of everything. The Egg Roll was the star though with it tasting very light like a spring roll, but was jam packed with fillings. On top of that the sauce was a touch spicy, but complimented the roll very well. Whole order cost me $8.06 with their 20% discount promotion right now. My only dislike is the use of styrofoam for the packaging. I was hoping to see something more sustainable and reusable. First time here. Daughter picked it for her To Go birthday dinner. She got the crab salad bowl. She said she really liked it. There was a ton of crab on it. She also got the crab roll. My husband and I got the teriyaki chicken bowl. I liked it. It's baked chicken so no crispy edges which I love but there was a lot of chicken and it wasn't dried out. Guys- I cannot tell you how stoked I am to have some quality sushi right here in Macomb Township! When I saw their sign go up, I knew I had to give it a try. During my visit, the menu was a limited soft opening menu due to COVID. That being said, I was able to find something on the menu for both myself and my boyfriend. The edamame and Poke bowls were both a generous size given the price. My Cali roll was the perfect ratio of avocado-cucumber-crab (let's be honest, we've all been to a place where the Cali roll is almost all cucumber!) I've always gotten a carry-out due to COVID, and I have been very happy with each order. I know it's difficult to get the quality when ordering carry-out but everything has been 100% delicious and fresh. They also have provided curb-side pickup! They offer different specials through-out the day - Lunch specials and Happy Hour. They also offer gluten options! Their ginger dressing is delicious - wish I could buy a bottle of it. Some of my favorites are Mambo #5 - which includes a house salad, 4 pieces of nigiri and a California roll. Spider Roll, Rainbow Roll, Caterpillar Roll, Naruto Green! Both were very much worth while to have and thanks to this place, I found out that having seaweed isn't all that bad. I went into wrap & roll today with a friend. Sushi and food was amazing! But horrible customer service. We got there and we ordered we looked at other tables to sit at and there was a computer and full of stuff on the booth table never cleaned it off, we sat down at our table that was very uncomfortable to sit on we wanted a booth, as soon as a guy and kid came in the coworker cleaned off the stuff right away from the table & we were trying to move over there and the coworker said oh it's for the guy and kid, I thought to myself that was very rude because we were there first! Also we waited over half hour for our food they were very very slow their orders aren't even in order so when people came in after us they got our food in first while we waited for an hour same thing with the other lady that was waiting for half hour as well. Very slow service! We never been in the restaurant I've always got carry out it was our first time in there and after that whole situation I won't be back at all I'll go to different better sushi place with nicer and respectful workers!!! Teach you're coworkers some respect and also there was one girl that was just standing around not helping the other lady that was doing everything!! Over all the food was delicious!!!! Finally, delicious fresh SUSHI! The family and I have been under strict quarantine and have opted to not partake in restaurant foods (carry out, curbside, nor delivery) over the past few months. So happy to find delicious food in a completely compliant restaurant (masks PROPERLY worn, gloves, online or phone ordering/payment, etc.) The staff is friendly, helpful, & quick. Their menu right now is limited due to the pandemic but has great offerings. Happy to report that they are very talented & accommodating, if you don't see something you're looking for, just ask! We are a family with allergens & they were happy to make recommendations & adjustments accordingly. A few personal recommendations: The spicy crab crunch, a fast family fave all around, a nice low heat, very flavorful. This is my first time trying this restaurant and it was definitely worth it! Decent prices for delicious home made food. We tried the California roll which tasted super fresh. I got the tuna poke bowl and my gosh the tuna was so fresh and good! They put such good quality ingredients in their food and you can tell they enjoy what they do. We also got the tempura plater which was amazing and they poked holes in the take out container so it would not steam up and get soggy which was really appreciated. It was super crispy and the ingredients were awesome. My boyfriend and I loved the fried crab salad, it was really creamy. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you like tempura and sushi!
