I was at this location recently. I spent about 20 minutes walking around the store looking for Cheese Whiz. I finally found someone who worked there to ask for help. She told me she had no idea where the cheese whiz was because she was new. You rarely see people who actually walk the aisles of the store assisting customers. I think that's unacceptable considering the amount of people that shop at that location. I finally gave up and went to check out. Only one self checkout section was open; that line was really long. I went to a cashier's line. She manually had to type in several of the items for the customer in front of me. After she finally finished and the customer left, the cashier picked up her scanner and left her register. She didn't utter a word to me or the other customers in her line, she just walked off. I left my buggy along with the items inside next to the register and I promptly left the store. I was upset at the lack of assistance and the lack of customer service at this location and I will not be going back. Honestly Yelp needs to allow for a "zero stars" rating. read more

Lines down the aisles to checkout and only one set of self checkout registers open. Repeated condition and usually low stock with empty shelves. They did have tres agaves marg mix in stock this time, which is becoming rare, or would have been one star. I think having just one grocery store in this area is just too little and they aren't equipped to handle. Employee came over when I was finally checking out and said she can't wait to quit. The only thing their employees hate worse than their jobs are the customers. Drive across 35 or towards 377 baby Wallmart or to ANY other store. I will pray for a H.E.B. or Tom Thumb to be built. read more

By far my favorite Kroger for store layout and deals, especially Manager Specials. Staff have always been respectful, most are friendly and very nice. Reasons I like this Kroger over others: (See below why I like Kroger in General) Their good staff members are excellent!!! I have been very pleased with the high school age help they hire. Professional polite and smiling. Manager Specials. Sometimes there is nothing in any of the bins, most of the time we pickup 5-8 items a week. Everything from meat, frozen foods, produce (in a wooden box behind the bananas), and baked goods. Store layout, I just like it. Reasons I like Kroger (in general) over most other Grocers stores: They make over half of their store brand in house. (Kroger owened and managed factories. Think it was 60% at last count.) They stand behind what they sell. (I haven't returned much to Kroger, maybe 5 items in a lifetime. Never had more than oone associate give me a funny look when I said the ceral was sour tasting, she opened the box, took a wif, got that I just smelled sour milk look on her face, opened the cash drawer and handed me some bills, the cost of the ceral rounded up). read more

I nearly asked the pseudo manager if he needed me to clock in (no, I don't actually work there) and help since there was only ONE cashier open and tons of people in line. We even sacked our own groceries. The pseudo manager was rude when I commented about it. I mean, I thought I was at Kroger not Sack & Save! What large grocery store has one line open and just expects everyone with a $280 cart of food to self-check? Ridiculous! I overheard the cashier complain to pseudo manager then say, "So hire more people then!" Agreed, sir. As much as I hate Wal-Mart, I'd much rather go there instead if this is how the management is going to run their store. read more

I just saw several individuals not wearing their masks. Spoke with the manager who confirmed upper management's new directive is NOT to enforce the use of masks within the store anymore. I wanted to compliment the Kroger Marketplace located on Texas Sage Trail, in Keller, TX. I just returned from there this morning in a rush to grab a few things before I had to log in for work at home. I had the pleasure of meeting the kindest, sweetest young gentleman, Kameron, who very politely asked me if he could help me with my cart of groceries to my car where he so carefully loaded my items into my trunk. It is already pushing 100 degrees outside with nearly 40% humidity. It is hot, sticky and just all around unpleasant to be outside. Because of that, I was especially grateful for Kameron's kind offer and for his very pleasant demeanor. He made me feel as though I was the most special and important customer of the day! I just wanted to thank Kameron for starting my day off with a smile and gratitude in my heart. Way to go, Kameron! I look forward to seeing you again soon! read more

I like Kroger. The produce is always reasonable and fresh. My second favorite place to visit is the seafood department. This location does a good job of restocking their showcase. The prices are usually reasonable. Last but not least, the butcher block is GREAT! Customer service is always fast and friendly. In addition, the store is always clean with great bargains. read more

Though I have a kroger down the street from me, I prefer this location. They have more offerings and it's slightly nicer than the one by me. The place is huge, always nice and clean and I don't have to search high and low to get assistance when I need it. The bakery and cheese section are two of my favorite departments as they carry alot of things I like. This kroger is definitely one of the better locations and I highly recommend it. read more

Each time I've been to this location in Alliance the food is expired. I've returned a spoiled pork roast. Had to throw out several items of produce and drinks are way past expire dates. Customer Service desk is never open and only a few cashiers open to check out groceries. I'm not going thru self check out with lots of groceries...that's your job not mine. Found another location that's much better so won't be coming back to Texas Sage location again. read more

I used to love this Kroger. I understand the shortage of workers in these times but the customer service desk is closed everyday. The store is dirty and outdated dairy and meat items are often still on the shelves. I bought one of these items and tried to return them but the customer service is closed. This is no way to run this store. It used to be so awesome with great employees. Obviously management is not paying attention or simply doesn't care that the store has gone so far downhill. I am going to have to start driving an extra 6 miles to another Kroger to see if it's Kroger in general or just this store. Do better please. I miss this store! read more

I used to live near a Tom Thumb and I was pissed when I had to move. Lo and behold, I bumped into this Kroger and it's been a great Tom Thumb substitute when I don't feel like driving to the closest one in Keller. I will admit that Tom Thumbs soups are waaaaaay better, as well as their soft baked cookies and the bakery has twice as many options that are fresh and affordable. Tom Thumb also have more deals as well ($5 Friday's) etc. Since this review is about Kroger, I'll focus on that. The deli is my favorite spot and I love the deals on different types cold cuts. The deli's weekly sales are usually the reason I'll try different things and I always fall in love with them. The staff is always nice and they always seem to have enough of registers open whenever I visit. The sushi is GREAT and made there everyday. The store layout is easy to navigate through and everything is always clean and well displayed. Though Tom Thumb is my favorite, but Kroger comes in at a very close 2nd. 4 stars because the soups are gross and Kroger is kinda pricey. read more

Here's what I have noticed about this store. 1. Go early or go late, the earlier the better or anytime after dinner time because HOLY CRAP it gets crowded if you go during the nighttime right before dinner and during the weekends in the afternoon. 2. Ask if you don't see something. Chances are it's in the back and they haven't stocked it yet. On more than one occasion have I asked for something that they have produced. 3. The specialties departments close pretty early like seven or eight-ish. 4. It's cool that you get cheaper gas if you shop here. Although it isn't the cheapest, it kinda evens out with the gas. 5. Meat specials normally circulate every other week. I normally stock up on chicken if it's on sale for two weeks and then it will be on sale again. This normally works. 6. The healthy food is sectioned off COMPLETELY, so if you are looking for that organic, gluten free, carb free....its near the deli. 7. It's HUGE, but it doesn't have a lot more varieties. If you are looking for ethnic food, you will probably find what you are looking for, but with only maybe one or two options, but there is a whole wall of bread. Just depends on what your looking for. 8. They sublease some space for infomercial like things. Huh?! YUP, I almost got a mandolin because I got sucked into the "free prize" page throughout the store. DON'T DO ITTTTT!!! 9. Service is good. Not overwhelmingly awesome, but just fine. And they have someone on the busy times, just to direct cart traffic so no one waits in line a really long time. 10. If you buy something from Fred Meyer or a gift card from the gift card wall, it counts on your Kroger Shopper Card. AWESOME! Overall, I get my groceries here because it's clean, bright and the service is just fine. What more do you need from a grocery store?! read more

This is a two part review of Kroger, the grocery, and Kroger, the pharmacy. Grocery: I always start with the produce section, and they actually have a decent selection, and it's usually pretty damn fresh. The prices are decent as well. The meats can be hit or miss, as I've rarely seen good quality cuts here. The seafood usually looks average as well. Also, they're a tad high on the prices in these departments. Sushi. Yep, they have the chefs, that I would assume sublease the little kiosk. The quality is comparable to most groceries, and the prices are the same as well. If I need a fix, I'll roll the sushi dice and pick up a bento box, or two. Decent (not great) grocery, but the employees are really some of the nicest you'll meet, so this, along with the convenience factor, keeps me coming back. Pharmacy: Doesn't Ron White have that saying, "You can't fix stupid?" Yeah, I think he does, and maybe he picked up that line after dealing with the mules at this pharmacy. My experience goes like this: Dumb Kroger Pharmacy Employee: Sir, you're nooot INshored. ME: Well, as you can clearly see, my name is indeed on that Aetna card you have in your hand. Dumb Kroger Pharmacy Employee: No sir, it's realllllly nawt in the sysem. Can I have your social? ME: Well, I assure it is in the system, and here's my ssn#. Also, just to clarify, out of the 8 years I've had this Aetna policy, this is the first time I've ever had an issue with being unrecognizeable. IF you call Aetna, they will verify this. Dumb Kroger Pharmacy Employee: Noooo, yewww, jus are nawt inda sysem. ME: {disgruntled} Walk away, as I'm thinking, you really can't fix stupid! Now, here's where they redeem themselves: On my way home, the actual pharmacist called to apologize, and assured me that they (she) actually did find my name in the "system" {proper pronunciation on *her* part}, and asked me to come back in. In all honesty, she should moonlight in sales, because she got me back in, and Kroger should consider themselves lucky to have a pharmacist like her that can solve problems, and sell me at the same time. The grocery, and pharmacy are "A-OK." For convenience (location), I'll continue shopping here. read more

I love this Kroger due to its proximity to my beloved Costco. They always have the odds & ends I can't find at the bulk warehouse (this most recently includes rice vinegar, banana peppers, and a more modest amount of mustard than a six pack). They have a really great selection of organic produce and all of the lactose-intolerant friendly products I could ever want. Like other Krogers this one has a pharmacy, but what I find particularly interesting is the clothing and home goods section. It's kind of like a mini super Target but backwards. I've never bought anything from either of these sections but it's kind of cool that they're available if you find yourself in need of new pajama pants or a lamp while you're grocery shopping. My only complaint about this Kroger is the fact that, no matter what time I shop there, they're stocking aisles. And I love well-stocked aisles but this blocks so much of the cart traffic. It doesn't seem to matter if it's the busiest part of the day (you know, right after people get off work and realize they don't know what to make for dinner), there's someone standing in the cereal/coffee/tea aisle right in front of my Celestial Seasonings with a pallet of Cap'n Crunch on the ground. I guess this is a management issue, who knows. Not that big of a deal but a minor annoyance for sure. Can't comment on the rest of the staff because I love utilizing the self-checkout but everyone seems pleasant enough. read more

A great Kroger Marketplace. They provide a lot more than groceries. Everything from home goods, to summer supplies, to gardening items, to clothes... it's a pretty good "one stop" market place. The produce selection is expansive, the deli/food galley is also pretty impressive. They offer a pretty amazing wine and beer selection, enough to impress even the elitists (I think). There's a section dedicated to healthy and vegan lifestyles, which is pretty nice. The store is very clean and well organized. It navigates just like most Kroger stores but is flanked on one end by the "non-food" items. The staff is overly friendly and helpful. We had a nice guy pull a fresh rotisserie chicken from the oven when we asked for the larger one, and he did it with a smile. Make sure to use your VIP card (sign up is free and easy) as you get discounts on many items and you bank "points" based on the amounts you spend and those points may be redeemed for discounts at a Kroger gas station. One hundred points/dollars equals ten cents off a gallon of gas. It's just another incentive to shop at Krogers! read more

First of all, it's a Signature Kroger, it's HUGE, this place even sells furniture, a Starbucks and they even have a jewelry store. The Deli area has a wide variety of meats, cheeses, seafood, etc. There's also a vegan area which is nice to accommodate others. Hands down this is one of the best Kroger's I've been to. 5 stars! There is nothing that I don't like about this location because it's so awesome here. There's excellent customer service, super clean and organized, shelves are always stocked and there are never any long check out lines like Walmart! I usually come here to buy chicken breast because it's a lot cheaper (only if you have a Kroger card). Each package was around $7-8 compared to $10+ at other grocery stores. The gas station outside is also very cheap! 3 cents off with your Kroger card as well :) This is my one stop shop for groceries and I totally recommend shopping here. read more

Incredible The individual compassion & guidance was prefect The final plant & Mylar balloon moment generated a remarkable smile @ the hospital. Personally I highly recommend this store. I love this Krogers! This is my go to grocery store, I shop here weekly. I attempt to do my shopping towards the middle of the week as the store is super busy over the weekends. The produce department has a nice selection and the produce manager is extremely helpful as are all of the staff I have encountered. My husband loves the specialty cheese selection and olive bar. The meat department is always well stocked and the staff exceptionally helpful when answering questions and making suggestions. My only complatiant is the parking lot could be a bit bigger. read more

I like to cook but hate grocery shopping, ironic I know! This place, however, makes the grocery experience as pleasant as possible. Actually looks more like a Central Market than a Kroger, which is why it is labeled a signature store. The fact its located a few minutes from my home in suburbia makes it even better. From the freshest produce, eccentric and ethnic ingredients, huge wine and beer selection, fresh baked bread and pastries, ready to eat meals, a deli, and a home section, coming here just makes me feel high class ;) They also have a beautiful flower section and a Starbucks! I also love taking my daughter with me since they have kid sized carts. It makes her feel likes she's doing the shopping and making all the decisions! read more

Typical Kroger, just on a larger scale. Mostly Grocery, with some household goods. Aesthetically nice for the most part. Although nothing special. Tom Thumb or HEB Plus style, without the added quality. Just like other Kroger's in the area, the produce section is just disgusting. Rarely kept stocked. Often missing thing or only undesirable remnants left. The place is also infested with Fruit Flies, which has lead to that infestation spreading to my kitchen when bringing home fruits and vegetables. Has happened multiple times. Disgusting! I only come here if I absolutely have to. Otherwise, I go to one of several competitors in the area instead. read more

This Kroger carries every grocery item imaginable. Prices are reasonable on most items. Boar's Head meat is worth the wait in the deli. This is a FULL service store. However...Some of the exterior aisles are hard to navigate with too much clutter (displays and employees stock carts). If you add peak shopping times, with other customers shopping you cannot move. I'm a little concerned about how long the refrigerated items are on the carts with no one working these sitting at room temperature. Although the managers make time to delegate tasks to employees and straighten displays, they don't speak to customers. I shop here at least twice a week as it's 1/2 mile from my house. read more

I really like this Kroger. I am in for work mainly but it is really clean and wide aisle to get your cart down. When this Marketplace location opened, I would have given it 5 stars no question. These stores have big "health food" sections where you can find vegan, vegetarian, lactose intolerant, gluten free, and other special dietary food offerings. They have huge produce departments with lots of organic offerings. The meat and seafood departments offer more than an average Kroger and definitely more than Walmarts. They also carry more ethnic foods of varying kinds. If you have a food issue, don't limit yourself to the special section, as you can find gluten free, kosher, vegetarian, and other healthy options all through the aisles. We used to travel down to this store specifically to do our shopping, but now we have a newer one closer to us on 407. We still stop at this location usually when we're also shopping at Costco or eating at 54th Street, BJ's, Cheddar's, or Houlihans. The customer service at this location has gone downhill bigtime since they opened, and the customer service at the one on 407 is alert and personal. My mom was frazzled looking for something and was getting frustrated talking out loud to my dad and I searching for whatever it was and there were 3 managers standing at the end of an aisle chit chatting with one another and they not only completely ignored us as we passed them about 6 times, but they were blocking the aisle completely and they continued to ignore her even when my mom tried to ask them directly for either assistance, or to get by them into the aisle. They never did stop their conversation, offer any help, or move so we could go down the aisle. The complete opposite happened at the 407 location, the store manager himself stopped my mom and asked if he could assist her in any way when she just had a puzzled look on her face. The previous situation had just been the week before so she thanked the manager and told him about her experience the week before and he was very surprised and said that this store is who they're trying to be like.... it's also difficult to find employees in general at this location. The other one, I was trying to reach a package of bottled water that was out of my reach and a lady came running over right away with a ladder... I hadn't even looked around me even. We love the Marketplace concept that Kroger is bringing in, but watch the service piece... read more

I'm from GA where Kroger was the best thing since sliced bread (except for Betty White) and I gotta tell you I do not ever enjoy being in this krogers location. Unfortunately I live in the local apartments and have no car. otherwise I'd never go here. I understand staffing can be an issue at places but I've been there a handful of times where they have one person on all registers. I use self checkout every time because most of the time it's the only option. The WiFi in here is not for guests which wouldn't be a problem but in the alliance center normal cell service sucks. If you as a company have online deals and no way for customers to access the deals through WiFi then what's the point of providing the deals when you know cell service sucks. Only thing I like is the quality of the sushi and the very nice sushi employees working there. I've not had a problem with any employees because I never really see them to begin with. The pharmacy is fantastic and I never have a problem getting prescriptions read more

In the year since the pandemic has hit, never once have I come across so many maskless people in one 30-minute shopping trip as I did today at this location. I'm disappointed, do better Kroger. I saw at least 7 different people will no mask on their face at all (not even just pulled down or not covering their nose) in the 30 minutes that I was shopping. Might as well just take down the multiple signs "requiring" shoppers to wear masks; might as well just take the announcement about wearing masks being "required" off of the PA system every few minutes. It doesn't surprise me that this Kroger location is rated so highly. Of the normal grocery store chains, this location has to be the nicest and largest grocery store i have been to. They have a clothes department and housewares and jeweler... nuts. The store itself is nice and clean and always well stocked and has a good amount of products. There's only been a handful of items i couldn't locate here. My favorite thing at this store which will sound so weird, but it's their sushi. I know it doesn't make any sense, but outside of 1 sushi joint of the many i've tried the best sushi in the area actually comes from here. They have sushi chefs who make it fresh daily and they will even make you whatever you want if they're there. In conclusion I really like this Kroger and shop here often. If a regular grocery store chain is your cup of team, then this is you location for life! read more

Kroger is my go to, I live next to Walmart and drive to come here. Great selection, usually good produce (you win some, you lose some), nice, clean store. I'm giving 3 stars because the pharmacy and staff are terrible! An older woman in a wheelchair told me she'd been waiting 30 minutes for a flu shot, to which the pharmacist scoffed and walked off. I asked a tech if they had activated charcoal pills, she looked at me like I was crazy and just said no. I asked where I could get some and she just shrugged. It doesn't take anything from you to be courteous to your customers. read more

I am out of state and ordered flowers for a friend's memorial service in the store's local area. The service was on Saturday at 5pm. I placed the order online the Thursday afternoon prior to the service. I was NOT NOTIFIED UNTIL TWO DAYS LATER THAT THE ORDER WAS NOT DELIVERED!!!! Horrible service. Ordered cabbage. Recieved the 2 biggest, sweetest cabbage i have ever tasted. The groves in this extra large cabbage are deep and juice flys out when pulled apart. Taste like a fruit more than a spicy cabbage. Excellant for just pulling apart and eating. I think maybe was left in the field longer di to covid. Thank you farmers. Thank you knroger for purchasing from these farmers. I pray this will not be the last that i taste such wonderful mouth wAtering cabbage read more
