Alright, I'm deducting 2 stars now. It happens every time I go to this location that I'm overcharged! This time I was vigilant and watching the price, but still something slipped by and I was charged double than what was advertised. I had gotten home before I saw it, so I'm sol because I am not able to drive all the way back. Also, the cart that the cashier put my groceries into did not have a quarter in it, so I had to run inside and get my quarter back! That means I had to leave my children in the car (I had already loaded everything and everyone into my vehicle) while I'm waiting for her to finish the transaction she was working on. The third issue with this location, they have higher prices on coffee and other items than the location I normally visit. Crazy because they're both within 20 minutes of each other! I guess Alliance can justify charging more all-around because people just pay it and don't argue. It's just not worth my effort to shop at this location. I like Aldi, cause they have a lot of off brand stuff at a cheaper price. This isn't my local store but i was in the area and thought i would just stop here instead of driving more miles. Aldi is in that class of specialty stores that I feel has things I want at great prices, but if I never visit I won't know I want them. Still, what it does it does very well. For me, the strong points are the produce, natural snacks, and the interesting items in the wine and beer section. I've also found basic outdoor chairs for our patio here at a good price. Checkout is quick and I appreciate that they do not Instantly bag everything in plastic like HEB and other larger stores. Its not large, so things are easy to find, though it has a bit of a disheveled appearance. I traveled in Germany and saw Aldi's there, but did not have the opportunity to visit. The brand has a strong reputation here. It would be difficult to come here for primary shopping, or on any regular basis really since we find all of our weekly needs at a full grocery store. But, I cannot come here without picking out something. read more

This is my fave Aldi. There aren't many grocery stores around that have options for vegans or vegetarians (and at great prices). Also, their sushi is SO good! Don't let the frozen part freak you out; it's not remotely dried out like the $10 one serving down the street at Kroger. Just let it thaw and it's perfect... and that's a sentence I thought I'd never say. Def a fan. Their granola is delish. I'm disabled and when I have a joint dislocate or sublax, the last thing I want to do during recovery is walk a giant grocery store. This has most everything I need, and a nice selection of non-dairy ice cream. People are super nice who shop here, and are happy to give you their cart (the quarter system is a little weird, but for a small store, I get it and it works. They also have curbside delivery. I don't live in rockwall any more, but when I did, this was a true staple. Also, be sure to check out their novelty aisle! Over the last few years (and admittedly in a few ALDIs throughout the metroplex), I've gotten a cute tufted storage ottoman (zero assembly), rain boots, pet toys and beds, Papyrus-style cards, and more. Congratulation Aldi! You have the RACIST employee of the year! There were only two active lanes for checking out at the time, but it was not busy at all. There were 5 customers, including me. Since I stepped in randomly at one, I got rejected by this lady who was at the check out lane. She said it was closed. One second I stepped into another lane, there was another customers after me asked her if she closed. She was immediately said no and looked at me embarrassingly after I ask her why did you tell me it was closed? I would said I was the only Asian in store... Store was clean and well stocked. Several workers restocking each time I have gone. Fresh meat and produce.

Today shopped at this Aldi Market, the standard of missing prices, and miss-priced items on the shelves remains in this store. It's always hit and miss. Today, I clearly place items priced at Little Salad Bar Southwest Guacamole small plastic cup with lid 10oz. $1.49 each and when it rang up it was $2.99. I stopped the clerk, it's ringing up wrong. He had someone check on the price. She said, it was $2.99, do I want it? No. After I checked out, I went back and to a snap photo of where the item was, they pulled the price tag off and the priced quoted to me at the register with for $2.99 on a Little Salad Bar Spicy Guacamole in plastic envelop 16 oz size. I was purchasing 10 oz size. Also, the started ringing up purchasing before you are ready to observe the prices on the register. I always have to given them a verbal warning on this. Kroger and Walmart all have the same problem with that too. You the shopper have to beware... they overcharge you and you don't know it. Today, I passed on their celery, it was already wilting and it was not fresh produce. This item was a product from Mexico and not from Salinas, California as normal. All I can say, is you the consumer have to watch and beware. I had a small shopping list, but if I was not aware of the prices I could have been overcharged $3.00. Now if they are doing that to other shoppers you can see the problem. Their remedy was just to pull the price of the item. Great store yes missing some prices but you're saving tons of money so give them a break. This is the best Aldi I've seen so far. Could use more products on the shelf but it's a discount store so you get what you get. They should have more than one register open. When I went on 9-8 there was a weird gas leak kinda smell my mom got a bad headache. But other than discontinuing Tampico it's a real good discount store, not a Walmart a cheap store read more

This store was not very clean and the only employee visible was the cashier and she was not helpful or friendly. The location is great.
