Kroger is one of the main grocery stores around my area. Their selection is second to none. The produce is fresh and well maintained and the selection is fantastic. They have a floret section with a good selection as well. Prices are better than a stand alone florist as well. There is a bakery, a deli, and a butcher! All of it filled with good selections and availability. ( the bakery had a triple cherry pie that looked delicious!) Their stirs are alway well maintained and clean. Even the checkout area is run pretty well. My biggest issue is that they are the largest grocery chain in the US and their prices are not the cheapest. Target is cheaper, Walmart is cheaper... if you are the giant why are you not priced the best??? I like Kroger but I don't shop here like I used to... still a good experience. read more

The attendant Jim at the door on thanksgiving day was denying entry into the building since they closed at 5pm. I was at the door at 4:55 EST and he denied me entry even though I was just going to buy something simple and take care of some business. As I was walking away he would proceed to let multiple white individuals into the building even greeting them! When I complained to the manager Stan he didn't really seem to care? I'm very saddened by this situation from this Kroger I've been shopping here for 15 years now and never in my life have I experienced this disrespect. By the way he just wanted to use the ATM and the time was 4:55 pm and the employee Jim immediately denied him service and he was extremely rude about it. !!!!CHECK EXPIRATION DAYES BEFORE LEAVING STORE!!!! I often find perishable items on shelves that are out of date, and unfortunately a few have made it home. Just this week I accidentally purchased a bottle of sauce that had expired in July of 2023... not okay considering the shelves had just recently been straightened out. I also had this issue over last summer with their frozen items: many products had expired dates or had clearly been thawed and refrozen (you know how cardboard feels all yucky when it's gotten soggy and then froze again?) Really gross when these products have raw meat and/or dairy. Upper management is ALWAYS rude when I try to bring an issue to attention- once when I shared that I almost slipped in the indoor cart corral due to rainwater and no signage, the gentleman wearing the assistant manager badge just shrugged at me and walked off. Same reaction when I told him about a curdled jug of milk sitting in the shampoo isle a few months prior... I jokingly mentioned this to a young lady on staff and she started to tear up: it was clear she's not comfortable in her work environment. Not to mention the parking lot is too busy thanks to sharing the lot with Chick fil A and a rude older crowd that hangs out nearby- I don't appreciate the overweight old men catcalling me when I go buy milk. Overall a crappy store: save yourself the frustration and go a mile either way down holcomb bridge and go to Publix instead. I'll gladly pay a few extra bucks to not be in a bad mood all evening thanks to this location. Very glad to be moving so this won't be our primary grocery anymore. read more

Well stocked, clean, brightly lit with friendly employees. This store has a Chick Fil A next to the fuel center in the same shopping center. If you go straight on Barnwell you'll end up in the next shopping center which has a Starbucks, Bruster's and a CVS. This Kroger does not have a Starbucks in it. My only complaint with this Kroger which they have no control over is if you turn left at Barnwell to try to get into the shopping center from the side entrance- you cannot. They have these plastic cones blocking the turn lane. This Kroger Fuel Center is located at the Rivermont Square shopping center in Johns Creek/Alpharetta next door to Chick-fil-A. It's bright, clean, and has cheap gas. The shopping center is located at a stoplight making it safe and easy to turn into and out of. It's about smack-dab in between Georgia 400 and 141 (Peachtree Industrial Blvd). The station has 14 pumps offering 3 grades of gas (octanes 87, 89, and 93) and diesel fuel. There's a convenience store and it's tiny. I've had a Kroger Plus Card for years. In the last few years, I've stopped carrying the physical card and use the Plus Card in the Kroger app on my phone. The pump at this station couldn't read the bar code on my phone. The display on the pump and the app said if the scan is unsuccessful, to enter my alternate ID. That's cool, but I have no idea what my alternate ID is. A quick Google search, which led me to Kroger's website, did not help at all. At Kroger, you earn 1 fuel point for every $1 you spend on groceries and 2 fuel points for every $1 you spend on gift cards. In 100 fuel point increments, you can deduct $0.10 off per gallon of fuel purchased at a Kroger Fuel Center. You can redeem up to 1,000 fuel points in a single fill-up, meaning you get $1.00 off per gallon at that fill-up (up to a maximum of 35 gallons). You can also redeem Kroger fuel points at participating Shell gas stations, but the Shell stations only accept 100 fuel points per fill-up ($0.10 off per gallon). If Kroger is going to include the Plus Card as a feature on its mobile app, then the business should update the systems on their fuel pumps to be able to read them. If not, at least tell us what our Alternate IDs are or better yet, let us just enter in our Plus Card numbers manually. Why is an Alternate ID even needed if we could just use our Plus Card numbers? I've also encountered this problem with the bar code readers at the self-checkout machines inside the grocery store (of another Kroger location). read more

Lived in Peachtree Corners/Norcross since 2008. This has been my go-to Kroger since the one on Peachtree Parkway closed around 2010 and was converted into a Dick's and a PetSmart. (Guess it wasn't a good idea to have Kroger, Publix and Target all selling groceries next door to each other.) Been going to this Kroger in Rivermont Station since there was a Blockbuster Video next door! It's a fairly large store, and is always well stocked. Lately, they've been increasing their selection, which is a good thing. I understand this store was originally a Harris Teeter, which is why its layout is slightly different. FYI: There's another Kroger just two miles and a two-minute drive away down Holcomb Bridge Rd. in the Centennial Village shopping center. That one is is a bit smaller, but seems newer and is really nice. It has a HUGE beer & wine section. read more

This place smells awful. 3 out of 4 times I've gone here it smells like severely burnt food. That isn't the worst of it. I purchased a $36 roast which turned out to be rancid. The minute I opened it I was gagging and had to get it out of the house. I took my receipt back to Kroger a full 15 minutes after purchasing the roast. I went to customer service and they refused to give me a refund or even in store credit unless I brought the roast back. I will not ever purposely put rancid meat in my car or carry around rancid meat. Absolutely no one on this planet drives around with rancid meat. I spent 15 minutes arguing with this customer service lady, of course she had the biggest chip on her shoulder what else should I expect? I had to be the person to ask to speak with a manager. I'm not getting scammed out of $36. The manager offered me a $10 gift card and I said "Absolutely No". I had to debate and argue for about $20 more minutes until they finally gave me a refund. They made me sign some sort of paper and took my personal information to give me my refund. It was bizarre and I doubt they've ever done that before. I'm incredibly thankful that these angry ladies now have all of my personal info. There is zero chance I will ever return to this store and that is sad for them because it is my closest grocery store and they were in for a lifelong weekly customer. I hope this is a lesson for Kroger Corporate to try and find reasonable, stable, people to employ. Another time I went here there were 3-4 teenagers have a full on argument (not wearing masks) in the produce section. This kroger is very good. Now, i'm not just saying that because I work there, but I'm just saying that we take care of our customers. I'm the cake decorator there and i make sure my customers get good quality desserts and cakes. I notice that other kroger employees at the other stores can be very mean smh and they need to get their attitudes in check, but our employees at our store are better than that. Our customers don't deserve bad attitudes from us, so we check our personal problems at the door, seriously. I also work in deli too and make pretty good subs. So come on over! read more

This Kroger is close to my house. I usually stop here whenever I need to purchase American groceries. The inside is spacious and kept clean. However, ever since they have changed the setup...it has been a little more difficult to find the things I need on my own without having to ask one of the employees. This is the only reason why I give them four stars out of five stars. The staff here are always friendly and helpful in helping customers find whatever it is that they need and are looking for. This makes the customer service here excellent. They seem to always be busy with lots of customers there. The array and variety of food here is always excellent. I also always love getting fresh produce here as well. Also, they do have a good selection of different cuts of meats as well. The seafood that they sell is also great. Although, I do not purchase any meats here on the count that I can purchase it a little more cheaply at my local Asian supermarket or local farmers' market. But, the different selection and array of cured meats and cheeses is also great as well. They did used to sell my favorite English brown sauce here (HP). I was a little disappointed when I saw that they no longer sell nor carry it here at all anymore. Now, if I want to purchase it locally, I have to go to my closest World Market which is on Ashford Dunwoody Road to purchase it. But, other than that...they have a great selection of snack items, beverages and other packaged food items as well as gas at a bargain as well. read more

The items I purchase that end up moldy prior to the expiration date listed on them continuously increases. I also realized I have to apparently check expiration dates of items I am purchasing because I often get home (or do kroger pick up or Instacart) and items on the shelves that picked out were already past the expiration date. Customer service is also lacking as they asked me for a receipt... does anyone keep grocery receipts? As well as UPC for a refund.... do most people keep moldy cheese and bread so they can send someone the UPC code or trash them? They informed me I could bring the items to the store for a refund, but again, I had items delivered or did kroger pick up a reason - and now I have to hold on to moldy items until I can return to the store to return? DON'T EVER USE CURBSIDE PICKUP AT THIS LOCATION! This rating is for the curbside pick up. I would give them zero stars if I could.. We had an extremely frustrating experience trying to use this service at this location. We placed an order on April 4 or fifth with a scheduled pick up for April 10. We arrived on April 10 only to be told that they are behind in orders for the 10th will not be ready that day and to come back on the 11th. We called the store the morning of the 11th to ensure everything was ready and was told our order was ready for pick up after 10 AM. We arrived at Kroger around 10:45 AM and called the curbside pick up the phone number to let them know that we were there. We then waited for 20 minutes with no communication from Kroger and called again to check on the status of our order. No one answered I was rerouted to customer service he told me to call the curbside pick up number I tried again and the same thing happened. The customer service person finally found the curbside assistance person to help me she then went on to tell me that all orders that were being picked up on the 11th We're being pushed out to the 12th. I told her that my order was from the 10th and was told that my order should be ready for pick up. She didn't understand what I was saying and proceeded to tell me the same thing again that orders scheduled for the 11th would not be ready until the 12th. I reiterated that my order was originally scheduled for the 10th and that I am here to pick it up and it was told that it was ready. She said OK someone will bring it out to you shortly. I waited another 20 minutes and then called them again to notify them that my order still has not been received. They then said it would be brought out shortly. I waited about 10 to 15 minutes before and attendant walked out to tell me that they could not locate the bags with my order. They offered me a $30 gift card and an apology. This is my regular Kroger. I spend thousands of dollars here every year. But, I might be done with it. I am a man in my sixties with underlying health conditions, and my wife is severely immuno-compromised, so we take the coronavirus threat very seriously. I arrived about 8:30 PM on Friday, July 10th. First, not only was no one sanitizing carts, they didn't even have sanitizer out for me to do it Then an employee with no mask was handling produce- I said, don't you have to wear a mask? He said, mine broke When I went to check out, there one one cashier only, and the light was off. She was finishing up with a customer. She said she was closed. I said, but there are no others. She said, use self serve So, I went there and another employee has his mask down under his chin, playing on his phone, 5' from me. I let it go, but then he comes right up on me. I said pull up your mask or step away. So he pulls up his mask, gets with in one foot of me and says, maybe we should get a six pack of corona and burn it, to kill the virus- mocking me. So, yeah,I told him to get away from me, in no uncertain terms. Meanwhile, the one manned cashier that I tried to use has been reopened by another associate. I had seen the new cashier on the floor, earlier, so she was already on the clock, but the original cashier closed the only available check out instead of waiting 4 minutes for the new person to arrive. I will drive a couple miles farther into Roswell and see if they can do a better job. I appreciate front-line workers, but not like this. read more

I've only stopped in here for things that I've forgotten on the way to day care or for work, such as diapers, bananas, and flowers. The baby items are in the front aisles quite close to the registers, so that's useful. The potted calla lilies that I purchased for my administrative assistant lasted quite a while. To be perfectly honest, it seems a little dark and cramped compared to other Kroger stores, but also nicer and newer than the ones I usually shop at (Howell Mill, Fountain Oaks). I never thought I'll be the one to leave a review like this but today my daughter and i went grocery shopping together, not to get much but a little something. I didn't get the lady in the meat department name but she was lovely with a great spirit. I asked her direction to the oxtails and i was literally right there by it. I apologize and we laughed it off. Unfortunately she was the only nice person we encountered at the Kroger. I had about 15 to 20 items. The cashier a (talk black lady)and bagger ( short older black lady ) had a problem with that and made it known with the side conversation and giggles. Throughout the transition they didn't speak to me and i didn't say anything to them. Disgusting. I left but only returned because i had forgot to get apple juice. This time i went to self check out. I did my transaction , grabbed my bag; the young lady who was working that area spoke to everyone before me (customers was another race ) but didn't speak to me. What i don't understand is, it will literally be your own ppl. I been to this Kroger numerous times never had a problem but today this was tasteless, head shaking . VERY BUSY DELI AT LUNCH TIME! This Kroger is a little smaller than some of the other stores. However, it is nicely stocked, always clean and has great customer service. The deli is the hot spot here around lunch time because everyone seems to love those premium subs and chicken meals. I on the other hand would grab the fried chicken wings and a piece of fruit. Kroger has my favorite chicken wings because they are lightly seasoned, lightly breaded and not greasy at all. They are very good and I purchase them often when I can. At most locations, I try to get them very early, (around 10am) to ensure that they are very fresh and to avoid the crazy lunch crowds. read more

I have had a battle with cancer and as a result I have emergency trips to the restroom. This is especially bad if I'm in Kroger's, they do not keep toilet in the men's restroom, the floor is covered with pieces of toilet paper, but nothing for customers. The toilet paper dispenser is broken and has been for a while. I assume that the employees are given their own toilet paper to take with them when they need to go. My advice is don't go to the men's room until you buy some toilet paper from the store. read more

This is my third time having a bad experience in this Kroger and will definitely be my last! I went through the line for a second time with my coupons which one was $2 off if you purchase TWO Tide Detergents. My coupon would not go through and the cashier didn't understand why so Teddy (an assistant manager) came to her assistance and without saying a word to me he went rummaging through my bags to find the two Tides (even after the cashier told him that I did in fact purchase two). I pulled one of my bags and showed him the two Tides and he still went through her registry saying another coupon must have been scanned already and even asked her to show him the coupons that were already scanned. There was no other coupon so he finally took the $2 off without ever looking at me, apologizing to me, NOTHING! I guess the humiliating me was enough because he certainly did make it seem like I was trying to cheat Kroger out of $2. I was upset so I spoke to the manager (Priscar) about the situation and without listening to what I had to say she went on to explain Kroger's policy when it comes to coupons. What really upset me is I am black and so are Priscar and Teddy and I know with complete certainty that if one of them went to a Kroger and the manager and assistant manager were both white and had reacted to either one of them or another black person the way they did me, they would call it racism yet common courtesy and a simple form of decent customer service were not warranted for me. read more
