Improve your cake makers. I ordered a cake through the online site. Not only was the cake I received smaller than what I wanted but before I could leave the parking lot, the border was falling off the cake. Yes, the cake price was lower but I would have preferred paying for what I ordered. The only reason I came to this one was because the cake maker near the house was out and they declined the order. We ordered yellow cake, didn't receive that either. Definitely will NOT be back for cake. read more

Went to the bathroom and all three stalls were occupied by someone watching Tiktoks at full volume. Then when the people came out of the stalls they were all employees. Dont hog the stalls and do your job.. read more

I had to update my review for this Kroger on outer loop. With all this craziness going on with the virus, I have to give the employees 5 star for having to work through this. Even though we are dealing with this pandemic, they are working hard by trying to keep customers safe. I come here a lot and they are still greeting us with a smile on their faces and telling us to have a good day on our way out. They are wiping off the grocery carts on our way in and out, have 6 feet of space distance in place and are having to put up with some ignorant and nasty customers. So a 5 star and a big thank you and hope that we all continue to stay healthy and safe. read more

Some of my fondest memories in my teenage years were at this Kroger this was one of my first jobs I ever had and I met some of my best friends that I still have to day at this place. Bought a Kroger brand spiral honey ham. Was nothing sweet about this ham. This was the worst ham. Salty is an understatement & I like salty foods. Tough & so hard to chew. I ran out of food for my Labrador Beagle mix and she is on the BARF raw diet. 15 min before closing time I ran in there and was able to grab some turkey wings along with chicken gizzards and hearts for less than $5. This is my goto grocery store. I know some think that it's smaller than others but I like that. It keeps me from spending additional money LOL! What I don't like: 1. They seem to change the layout drastically about every 4-6 months. I get totally lost looking for things. 2. If you come in the left entrance (if you are facing the outside front of the store) you come in by the self checkout. You should be able to go left towards the pharmacy but many times there a baskets of groceries, supplies or whatever sitting there so you have to cut through the people in the self check out. 3. Their products are up very high in places. I'm 5'1", I cant reach things that high. 4. There is a lot of talking and attitude at the check out lanes. Staff have not been taught to "know your audience" What I do like: 1. The fact there is a gas station. 2. Management is nice, even if they are correcting an issue. 3. They have pretty good deals a lot. read more

i was at the store 4501 outer loop. not a good experience, the cashier heather; she was bragging about how fast she was and she was in the top. i had a coupon for coffee, which said 2.00 off if you buy 3 little 10 ct or larger. usually it means the 3 little or one of the bigger boxes. she could have said go back and get 3 of the little one's. the 2.00 is not a concern the customer service she gave me was terrible. because of the way i looked at her, she and two other workers laughed real loud and all customers were looking; it made me look stupid. i don't think you need me to come back. better customer service would only taken a few minutes. she could have suggested i get the 3 little boxes ruth harper 468-7468 read more

Kroger is always my go to store. The outerloop store is a pretty far distance from where I live but whenever I go to the mall, I will stop by to get some grocery shopping out of the way. Store is always crowded but the shelves are never empty which is surprising. The only thing that annoys me is the parking lot and I don't think there's much Kroger can do about it. The lot is just so small and shared with a bunch of other stores that the traffic is horrible and people walking everywhere. It always takes me forever to find a parking spot and forever to back out of my spot because of the said traffic and people walking everywhere. read more

This has been my store for many years and I have used many of the features. I really enjoy the app. It makes planning my trip to the grocery and time in the store easy. I like how it tells you the aisle to find the product. During the current health situation I feel they do a good job keeping everyone safe. The entrance is set up so that you can go in one door and out the other, allowing for social distancing. There are paper towels and cleaner to wipe the carts, as well as shields at the register. The employees wear masks. The store is generally well stocked and I am able to find what product I need. The employees are helpful and polite. From my experience, the store does a good job responding when lines get backed up and open additonal registers. Kroger products are well priced. I have also used the Pick Up/Clicklist many times. Again the app makes the process of ordering simple. I have always found the employees in this section to be super nice and helpful. This service definitely comes in handy on weeks I am super busy. read more

I was in the area and ran into this Kroger to grab a few things. I must have went at a bad time.(Friday 7pm) This Kroger was full of people, and I was having a tough time getting past them. The store was clean, and organized(the aisles I did go down) The employees weren't that great. I was at self check out waiting to scan, and they decide to close all 4 self checkouts as I'm staining next in line. I wasn't told this was happening, and after waiting in line for awhile- I was annoyed. If I'm in the area I will check this Kroger out again- if it's not a Friday evening. read more

So this is not one of my preferred Kroger stores. It does have a gas station but the store is smaller. Produce and floral section are limited. This store could really use a revamp like they are doing to other Kroger stores. It's always hard to find items here and when I stopped in today to pick up a small floral arrangement for a friend. I have had several instances in where when I go pickup, either they have lost my order or the system has automatically checked me out and they need to charge me again since on their end they didn't se sit go through. ‍ This store seems to always have technical issues or an issue where their computer doesn't read the same thing as what's on the app, blah blah blah. No one at this store ever really knows how to do their job. It's always "we need to call customer care" or "you'll get a refund if you talk to customer care". I have waited 40 minutes in the pickup lane, with three small children in the backseat, all for my order to be cancelled on me. Don't even bother shopping at Kroger anymore. I always get the Easy For You bag from the fish department. You can get any seafood put in this oven ready bag, at no additional charge. They will even add any seasoning, citrus slice, butter, or herb you want on it. I usually get huge slices of salmon in the bag, but this time I just got one slice. I'm not sure if this is permanently the new Easy For You bag, or if they use this bag instead when it's a smaller slice of fish. The bag was much smaller, compared to the one they used to give me. It doesn't have the clear window to check your fish when they give it to you, like the other bag. It looks like foil, but feels like a paper bag. Plus the temperature & time on the bag are different, compared to the bag they use to put it in. I noticed this made a difference because it overcooked my salmon. I miss the old bags. Also, the check out lines were horrible. Long waits ti check out. People usually will go to Krogers instead other places to avoid lines, but the days I've been going the lines haven't been good. read more

I went to Kroger to cash my child tax credit check was in line for 45 minutes. I've been going to this Kroger for almost 10 years I've even worked at this location before. They wouldn't cash my check due to me not having a psychical I.D. I have a picture of my I.D. on my phone I am still able to use it at other locations. But they refused me and then when I spoke to a manager a Caucasian women with blonde hair and highlights. All I asked her was why it couldn't be accepted due to my I.D. still being valid she told me she wasn't going to argue with me and that I can leave. Mind you I approached her kindly after waiting forever she was very short with me and rude I'll be calling corporate tomorrow. read more

4501 Outer Loop, Louisville KY. In the past few months, too often the fruit I've bought has been bad. Also, they've gone from adding a few regular lemons in with the organic lemons, to completely replacing them. I'm not paying extra for regular lemons. When I brought it up with a store employee, he asked, "You can tell the difference?" Well, duh. I'm partially paralyzed and cannot hand squeeze a regular lemon whereas I can with an organic lemon. Additionally, organic lemons are smaller, much more tart, and for the size put out substantially more juice. I doubt this is even legal. I'll be buying my fruit elsewhere from today on after purchasing two bad nectarines. I do take advantage of excellent sales and there are some Kroger products I regularly buy because I prefer them. One of those is Kroger brand half & half. It's hit or miss whether or not the quart bottles or half gallons are in stock (75% to 80% of my trips they are without). I end up traveling to different stores to find it or stock up if I'm lucky enough to find the refrigerator stocked. read more

This is the Kroger closest to my home. Of course going there to grab a few things is almost impossible, it seems. Bought probably ten times what I initially came for, but with the Kroger app where you can add digital coupons to your Kroger card, it can be totally worth it. The best deal I got today, April 6th, I got two herbal essences shampoo bottles for $3.50 each- the large ones. The seafood seems to be at a fair price for the season. $5 lobster tails for the past couple weeks And minus one star because Kroger isn't the best at organizing their groceries. Velveeta blocks of cheese are always somewhere weird.. And half of their Mexican food is in one aisle, and the rest is in another aisle at the polar opposite end. Could be better. read more

I feel like they are pushing their brand too much with their online coupons and really pushing the click it list which I have no interest in. After several calls to the manager and corporate Kroger, they still refuse to change it. They have " no way of changing it". Hoping to find a lawyer soon to file a claim. I usually avoid this store for the same reason as some other reviewers, because it is not always clean. It is close to my house and I was very excited about the "click-it" service they now offer though, where you can order your groceries and have them delivered to your car. My first experience with the service was less than impressive or convenient. I arrived at my scheduled pick-up time but was asked to come back in an hour because there was a problem fulfilling my order. For my trouble, I was given a $10 credit, which was nice and I did not mind to return in an hour. I returned in an hour and promptly received my order and was very satisfied. I returned home and there were several items that were not fulfilled correctly. I returned to the store for a third time and had most of my order corrected. I suppose it is my own fault, but I didn't realize that an item was still missing after I left though. I called back to inquire again and was placed on hold for quite some time. I finally gave up and cut my losses. The girls who helped me were very friendly and apologized for the problems, but there is obviously a break down in the process for this service. I may give it one more try, but will likely shop somewhere else in the future. read more
