I've noticed lanes are a lot tighter. Like barely fitting two carts side by side. We stopped by the restroom in the back because my son really had to go and surprisingly it was clean. My kids even made a comment about it. Before the update it was pretty sketch and almost always had a foul smell. Pretty average Walmart though stocking needs to be revised. My boys got two items from the toy section with tags of 24.99 and one of the toys rang up 48.99 and the other 56.99. They were stocked shelves with clear labels. It was pretty upsetting but we were in a hurry to go home so I took the L. Someone obviously did their job wrong. Got in the car and took a look at my receipt because the math wasn't mathing between what I bought and what I paid. I also saw my $7 mirror was showing $18.89.. The reason I say almost is the only reason I had to take off a star. Our last experience at the deli, yesterday, was delicious BUT super slow. We've both worked food service before and understand what happens when there's so many orders and so little staff. But a lot of the reason it took 35-40 minutes total for us to receive 1 sub and 1 wrap was because the gentleman making our food had to leave the station at the request of every single ingredient to restock because the stations were next to empty (onions, lettuce, cheese, etc.) and had little to no urgency when doing so. Maybe a rough day, I get it. We're all human here. What I don't really get is the lack of support for him. As the line was growing, another gentleman put multiple mobile orders in front of him and proceeded to neither at least try to help nor reach out to anyone else who wasn't busy for help. As a consumer, of course my perspective is never as accurate, but it seemed to me like there were multiple people who could have jumped in. Now we'll definitely be back. We love y'all! but please support your people, especially your deli folks. Just thought I'd put this out there before someone with less space for patience and understanding comes along.
