There was a sale sign on 22 count coffee for $17.99 When rang up, it came up almost 30$. Turns out was mispriced, they didnt even know what coffee was suppose to be marked 17.99 but they wouldnt sell the coffee for what it was marked. Offered a small box at a discounted price instead of honoring what was marked. read more

I shop at this Kroger because I get to see Debbie at the self check-out. Every. Single. Time. I visit, Debbie is consistently smiling, friendly, happy, patient, kind, helpful and sweet. Today I overheard a conversation behind me praising her beautiful personality and confirming that I am not the only customer who LOVES her. She has customers waiting in her line (along with me) knowing she will brighten their day. Don't care how long I have to wait as long to interact with this wonderful lady. Wow new to Kroger's is a small scanner you take with you while you shop. Put ur stuff in the bag, scan it then pay without talking to a person. (See photo) I like the Kroger Marketplace much better than a regular Kroger's. They have everything including clothes, toys and kitchen appliances. Pretty nice bulk section and salad bar. They also label the to go foods with calorie counts. That's nice for people that count calories. read more

This Kroger is great! I live in Waterford but skip the Waterford and Clarkston Kroger locations to come to this one. This is the largest Kroger I've ever been to. It's got large sections for everything and a lot of things that the other Krogers don't have to offer. My family really loves the Cafe. Picking up something small from the Cafe for my 1 year old to munch on while I shop is a blessing. Right up front is a Starbucks, so if you're a coffee drinker this is very convenient. The produce is typically fresh, the meat always looks good, and the deli and bakery never disappoint. The staff are almost always helpful. It is a much larger Kroger, so if you're like me and like to go up and down every aisle, it does take a bit longer to shop at this location vs others. Another HUGE plus about this location is that they have free WiFi! The other Kroger locations in the area do not offer this. There's a gas station behind the Kroger Marketplace and unless you're looking for it, you wouldn't know that it's there. You can't see it from Highland Road. read more

I went to guest services to turn in bottle returns and purchase lotto tickets. The assistant manager Tom was at guest service counter, and he was completely rude. He was mad that the bottle return was folded in half and told me in a rude manner that next time I need to unfold them. I only had a few and it took a second to unfold. An employee reported to work, and she asked where she needed to be, and he was downright rude to her too. He was very inpatient with me as I was buying lotto tickets. I do not understand why he was so grumpy. I did not cause a lineup or take too much time. I was buying a few $10 scratch offs and I just wanted to choose the right ones. He did not need to treat me badly. When I walked away my teen son commented about his behavior too. read more

You have an amazing Kroger Geocery Store , your Kroger Click list needs to get it together. Why do I even use this service when I'm getting the wrong products, when the products I'm getting on Sunday are expired or molded by Monda? This is my 9th complaint to you! When I called today I was told I've never made a Click list order. Funny I'm supposed to have over 400.0O in credits at their counter. I'm over using your service. Get some knowledgeable people to pull these orders or stop accepting Clicklist orders. read more

Lisa, a cashier at self checkout is so rude and crazy slow. When she is notified that you need help, I have seen her either ignore, or walk right past the person. When she does finally get to you, she messes up and does not correct the issue, so it takes even longer to check out. She just proves that it is hard to get good help. read more

Designated shoppers aren't wearing masks or following store guidelines. I actually like this store normally, for the scan bag and go. But today was troubling - I went in at 7am (during the hours for people with underlying conditions) and saw several employee shoppers (I guess for click list?) not wearing masks properly or at all. One without a mask was yelling down the aisle to another employee so it's not even like they were trying to prevent transmission. Other employee shoppers ignore the one way signs - what is the point of having these when the employees don't even follow it??? Store had a dangerous wet floor in front of the ice machine causing me to slip and fall on the way out of the store. I landed hard on my knee and left palm against the tile floor. Store staff was polite but (1) never apologized for the dangerous condition, (2) said I could make a claim with a 3rd party company but that if I did so it would take 5 to 10 minutes to go get paperwork which would then need to be filled out and (3) the manager said "it looks like you are ok." Someone also was clear to blame it on a customer "someone must have spilled their ice." I agreed to do the paperwork. The manager did not budge. Then the manager repeated (2) and (3) again and said she would include her assessment [ that I was ok] on the report. I showed her my red palm and she basically repeated (3). I agreed to the paperwork again and said she would have to go to a computer and that could sit in a chair by the self checkout. An apology should have been Kroger's focus; the floor was sopping wet. My impression was that the manager didn't care that I took a hard fall in her store, that she didn't want to do paperwork and that if she did her primary goal would have been to try to downplay the harm. read more

I have been to quite a few Krogers in my 6 years of living in Michigan now, and this Kroger is phenomenal! Great lighting, wide isles, I don't feel crowded when shopping, great vegan options, and they always have a wide, fresh produce selection. The cashiers are always kind to me. I feel so fortunate to live so close to this store! read more

Don't do Clicklist at this location! I picked up a clicklist on Saturday morning, and I was so disappointed because several items were expired and my bread was stale because it expired two days later. Hillshire snacking small plates expired on 10/6. I thought the turkey tasted ripe today as I took a bite of my lunch. Sure enough, 9 days overdue. Also...The eggs expire on 10/19. Baby carrots 10/16. I'm convinced clicklist is a way for Kroger to offload their items which are about to expire. It's ridiculous! I'm going to Meijer from now on. Normally I don't do ratings but I'm irate at the manager woman at this kroger today. I've been going to this Kroger for since they 1st opened years ago. I've never had bad service & everyone is or was always so kind their. They go out of their way to help! But today my battery died & I was only asking if she knew anyone or could help w finding someone to jump my friends car real quick. I was talking frantically cos I had my 1 yr old daughter w me & kept getting turned down by everyone I tried to ask. She was judgmental & told me it's not her problem & if I raise my voice I'll get kicked out. I wasn't raising my voice & I never swore at her. I was just trying to frantically get help as any single mom who don't have anyone to call to get help would & to be heard & she kept talking over me. I left the store crying & a very sweet woman asked me why I was crying & I told her & she helped me. There are 2 co workers though that deserve a raise & employee of the month. Sam who fixed the car problem & a young woman who helped me get my groceries to the car. We need to unite w one another at times like this. Not be dicks to each other!!! read more

I have ordered from Kroger pickup in White Lake many times and have only had a couple positive experiences. Customers are expected to overlook bad experiences right now because they're short staffed. There's only so long this can be used as a reason for inferior service. The last two orders I've cancelled because they delay the pickup time every time I order. If you can't sufficiently provide this service, then why offer it? This is not a review about the employees that are "doing the best they can". This review pertains to the mismanagement of the store and the sub-par hiring practices and the insufficient wage offered to keep good and enough employees. Hiding behind the employees you have who are doing the best they can because there isn't enough staff is no longer going to work for you higher ups who make critical business decisions for your company. Start paying people more money and quit complaining because people aren't flocking to your store to be hired for your crappy wages. read more

I went to Kroger Last night to get a moneyy order. I Unknowingly I didn't know I had a $500 limit on my debit card so I had to make anoTher transaction of $50. Well since I couldn't pay it all then, I have them void it. Which to turn out they only voided the $50, took $500 for my account and neveR transfer it back. Now alL morning ive been back and forth with my bank and korger. My bank saiD they took it and korger telling me they didn't. So instead of actually helping me, they send me to a electronic voice for there company. I am very dIs please, I loved this Kroger but I'm gonna have to find a new one because I cannot trust this Kroger with my own debit card. They should look over their clerk who work the desk because obviously they didn't void my transaction and won't talk to me now when I have proof from my bank they took it. I was in town from Arizona and all I wanted was some Topor's pickles. Tucson is a beautiful desert, but it is literally craft pickle free. It's a pickle desert. All we have are commercial pickles and no proper deli. So, I entered this Kroger on a mission- Detroit made pickles baby. I bee-lined it to the refrigerator section with the fingers on both hands crossed, mumbling some sort of pickle prayer, and running like a QB. I'm sure I was a sight, a vision, worthy of having mental health on speed dial. My pace increased as my goal was insight...my heart race doubled with the adrenaline rush of wondering will they have them in stock. I'm sure I audibly squealed with delight as I loaded new dill and the barrel aged in my cart. Sadly, this was the night before I departed so my lovely grandmother now has my pickles. I also picked my beloved grandma up some roses and hydrangea and a kombucha. For my mother I bought some fruit jellies and an unseasonable score of candy corn for her road trip. Next time I will skip the new dills. They are best in person at a deli. And props to my gma who has already gone to the store and bought more kombucha. read more

Consistently Kroger: great deli service (especially compared to Meijer), excellent variety, and reasonable waits at checkout. You may save money at Meijer, but you'll save time and sanity at this Kroger. You can only imagine what I rated Meijer with its horrible deli service and ridiculously slow checkout. read more

I'm a Meijer shopper in White Lake 90% of the time. Leaning toward Kroger for certain items, The produce is fresher at Kroger. The salad bar is simply awesome at Kroger and the made to order sub service at Kroger is wonderful. Better than Subway. The fried chicken is better than KFC, tastes much better. Cons: prices are higher than at Meijer especially for fresh meat or seafood and it doesn't look as fresh as Meijer. In addition, the roasted chicken is much better at Kroger. Meijer chicken has an aftertaste that isn't pleasant. Plus the friend chicken at Meijer, although cheap is heavy breading and tasteless. Don't get me wrong. I love Meijer deli but if given a choice, I'd go to Kroger. I love Kroger for what they have, fresh friendly service. Meijer Deli workers: have had drawn out fights witnessed by shoppers, when I was sitting there in line. Kinda creepy. I was very uncomfortable during the 2 times I was there recently. Not sure what's going on. They were fighting amongst themselves. I just wanted my order and go. I know they don't pay these people enough. But it was confusing and disheartening at Meijer in White lake. read more
