    My helpful cashier Taylor.

I'm making a banana pudding for Super Bowl. So I decided to get all of my ingredients today. As soon as I walked in, there were Valentines items all at the door. Beautiful flowers and candy and signs everywhere. I might have to return and get something. :-)

Just bit into my apple and saw this ! Their "freshness guarantee" is a joke! IF we do return an item (such as this) we get eyes rolled and nasty attitudes. We shop only at Kroger. You'd think they would value their customers more when we tell them the freshness just isn't there ‍ I guess we will take our business somewhere else now.

I like Kroger period. I miss having a closet one after my move. They get 5 stars for carrying "Taylor ham" alone at this location. On top of that this was a clean well staffed well stocked store and not that far from home. I think I will be here more often now.

The convenience of this location cannot be overstated...sort of. I have been coming to this Kroger for years, and they have a great selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, organic products, ethnic foods, around-the-house-items, breakfast foods, etc. Although I believe the Kroger at Highway 6 and Fort Bend Tollway has a wider selection of ethnic foods and is more spacious, what this location has over that location is that it is a true 24/7 Kroger. When I find myself out late but still need certain items for the following day, I never fret because I know this Kroger is going to be open. I tend to use the self check out line because it's more convenient; however, sometimes they are shut down late night. When I have been checked-out by a customer service representative, they have mostly been very patient and kind. When looking for certain items, those stocking products late at night have been very friendly and helpful as well. One of the biggest sells of this Kroger and many Krogers in general is the gas savings you get with a Kroger membership. Getting tens of cents off your gas when shopping isn't a bad deal at all. Besides those discounts, Kroger tends to have competitive gas prices in the area. In fact, they and Murphys, across the street, tend to have the same prices. Then again, with a Kroger membership you can can get $0.03 off your gas regardless of whether or not you have points. Then again, Chevron, also across the street, tends to compete with Kroger rather well. Anyways, this is is about Kroger. That being said, Gas Buddy is your guide. Overall review: If you are looking for a place that is open 24/7 where you can get your shop on in your pajamas, always 'member this Kroger. And remember that purchasing gas here isn't too bad either. On top of that, always remember that your points do not carry over from month to month, so use your gas savings!

I have shopped at this Kroger for about five years now now and I know the store like the back of my hand but at the end of the day it's pretty much your average grocery store so I really can't give it more than three stars. I do give the Starbucks inside the store 4 stars !!

I love this place but man, it gets expensive! I usually come here for seafood, wic, and things on…read moresale you can't pass up. Shopping here for wic is way easier than anywhere else. I do have a complaint, buying live Crawfish! Culturally I need the owners and seafood department to understand crawfish. They should not be sitting out on a dolly until they're purchased! They need to be cooled so they can " sleep " until they're cleaned and boiled. I bought 10 pounds of live crawfish yesterday and every 3rd of them tasted like death. When that happens it's because they were dead before being boiled. Literally, they're inedible. Now I know they can't keep every single one alive, but what they can do is store them properly to prevent customers from buying dead ones. When you buy a sack you should expect 1-2 pounds to be dead and you take those out but for me to buy 1/3 of a sack and still get 1-2 pounds of dead ones are ridiculous. That's $5-12 I wasted. This wasn't the first time either. One time I got 7 pounds and I literally had about 2 pounds of dead ones in a grocery bag I wanted to bring back to the store to show them why it's important to store them properly but who has time to do all of that when I literally just dealt with the whole process of boiling crawfish.. they can't tell how long the customer will take to boil them , usually hours after purchasing them. please for the crawfish sake put them in the cooler so they can stay alive.. for reference , Louisiana does crawfish Texas does bbq, imagine me putting a brisket in the oven and baking it like any other piece of meat and advertising is as if I smoked it.. culturally it's wrong! Or if I boiled ribs before bbq'n them and acting like it's not a problem.. to each its own but truly to leave the crawfish out in the open waiting for people to buy them is a crime. Especially when people who aren't crawfish folk aren't just going to look and be like " yea, let me get whatever that is " people usually think " I want crawfish " and look around to make sure they're there before going to buy them.. it's for certain people know you have crawfish already you don't need them brown and ugly on a dolly to be sold * drop *

The cashier who opened up the line looked at my daughter and said are you ready in a rude voice? we had two different transactions. I went first I put my things on the conveyor. The young woman proceeded to give very dirty looks at me and looked at my daughter, and my daughter told her I was looking for the dividers, but you really couldn't see them so the cashier goes. They're right there. They're like right there Pointing her finger and speaking very aggressively to my daughter we had my two grandbabies with me five year-old & 8 month old , but that did not seem to matter with this woman's personality so my daughter politely said well I didn't see them cause they're so small the cashier proceeded to check my things off all the sudden she takes the close sign, and she slams it down on the conveyor belt speaking through her teeth, like grinding angrily I'm closed to which I looked up and I said my daughter is with me but we have two transactions, The cashier proceeded to give me a very dirty angry, look talking beneath her breath to the point where I made the comment you need to please stop. She got louder, and I said you need to stop. She aggressively handed me my receipt. I took my receipt. I went to go look for a Manager, which there was no Manager to be found. I believe corporate does need to put up a phone number where customers can get in touch with corporate when things like this happen. It did not just in there. There was a family that was in there shopping and they thought it was funny how this woman was treating my family and I to where we were literally taunted out in the parking lot. This could've escalated into something else very quickly in our time we live in unfortunately that we I'm thankful that it did not, I do expect Aldi to handle this situation ASAP. I will not be threatened by one of your employees or have my daughter, grand babies at one of your stores by your employee I don't have to tell you this is very bad for business. Her name is on the receipt for anyone that lives in the area be careful if you go to this Aldi I'm just saying be careful. The cashier's name is Souline.... I wish we had the prompt not to give a star, I have to select one star just so I can post this.

If you're looking for gluten-free, vegan, or other specialty products, the selection here is excellent. The store is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. A nice bonus is the Amazon return counter inside the store. You can bring eligible Amazon returns without packaging, and they handle the rest. One thing I wanted to mention for anyone trying to take advantage of the current Amazon Prime ice cream promotion (50% off pints through July 7): this location has had ongoing ice cream issues. I visited twice recently and found the freezers completely empty both times. On one visit, staff said they were waiting on a shipment; on the next visit, they explained that the freezer had broken and posted a sign stating that no ice cream pints were available for sale. So if you're specifically coming for the ice cream deal, I'd recommend calling ahead first or checking another Whole Foods location. Aside from that issue, it's still a great store and a very convenient Whole Foods for the Sugar Land area.

There just is nothing so overwhelming that the price per pound should be as high as it is. Salad bar items are 11.99 a pound. Olive bar, I would expect to be higher but not 11.99 as well. I completely understand and it's very well known that because of its organic food selections and quality that Whole Foods does selectively market to a higher economic demographic that is less price sensitive. However, I am in that upper demographic and I'm getting distracted by getting a salad and some olives and walking out of the store with a $35 bill. At this price, I can just eat at a restaurant, and a decent one at that.
