Didn't know Kroger turned into a Ger store. I was in search of some spicy snacks after eating some sushi or at least something interesting or tantalizing to snack on after rolls. The desert section is pudding. They have a decent flower assortment and produce, but a half section aisle of chips and snacks. Went to pick up 5 items. No Kroger brand whole wheat muffins on the shelf. No Campari tomatoes despite being on sale. Needed a zucchini. They were packaged in threes. I walked out without purchasing anything. This store is never properly stocked. Off to Meijer's. read more

I like the location and I like that this Kroger isn't as big as the new Kroger. It makes it nice to get in and out..but the staff is always so unfriendly and rude to me for no reason. No reason for the stank eye. Costs nothing to be kind. read more

I was at the 13 Mile and Gratiot store there's no security there there's a lot of unsavory characters I was approached by a man accusing me of things I I don't even know what he was saying he started throwing food items at me and then started threatening me I just got my stuff and got out of the store. An entire experience only took 10 minutes and this was at 13 Mile and Gratiot and Roseville don't go to that store. Their customer service is trash in the store and on their app. read more

Great gas station.. BIG OVER HANG AREA to pump gas outside from rain wind or snow. Lots of snacks, beverages outside self-serve. I'm correcting my check in from 1:30 pm this afternoon. Kinda gotta avoid this K-Roger lol. SOME of the workers can be very rude especially the older blk lady who works the self checkout to the right closest to the exit. I was flagging her down and she wasn't busy. She kept looking at me and turning her head so I had to Literally go get her and tell her I needed her and she still didn't show up. Overall I'm big on if u hate your job and making other ppl miserable while you're there. Quit. She most def need more ppl Skills. read more

Big store well stocked but an absolute b#@# at the self checkout lane. While waiting for her to finish helping a customer, she screams at me then at another customer that"she's only one person and I have to be patient". Made the mistake of buying a bottle of wine. Nobody said a word..obviously it's busy, 2 days before Christmas. And it's obvious that both myself and the other guy are wayyyyy over the legal age of 21. Yet got an attitude cuz I didn't have my i.d. out. Heard her ragging at the other guy ,too for the same offense. I work at a bar, if i told a customer that, I would be out on my but. They did do some remodeling in the last year or two, which is nice, but the layout of the aisles is weird! I don't know who laid this store out, but it is all messed up! Plus, Kroger has been jacking up their prices. Even with the Kroger card it is somethings cheaper to go to Meijer. read more

I am a very simple person. I shop like everyone else. But as soon as I lose a receipt than that's when all hell breaks lose. I tried to return two items that came up to about $14-$15, but I told the woman I lost my receipt even though I was going to shop anyways. She gave me a nasty look and pretty much made up rules to where I couldn't return my items. I understand me not having the receipt but for the nasty looks and remarks I felt profiled and less than. She returned a fellow patrons items without a receipt with no problem (who was a white woman) who came with me just to make sure. Do not use this bathroom! I had to use the bathroom while shopping here. It was the dirtiest bathroom I've been in for awhile. The toilets were stopped up and overflowing on the bathroom floor. Yuck! Some of the stalls were out of toilet paper too. read more

I go here so often and yet I never thought to have given this place a review. This Kroger is a pretty decent place to shop, recently I've been shopping here more than Meijer. I guess I never realized how much bigger Meijer is but typically I just go in for food so why not consolidate? The employees always offer help or at least a pleasant hello. Dont get me wrong there are a couple of grumps that I've found in this place, but hey I worked in the customer service/retail industry quite bit in my twenties so I know what they go through. This store is pretty clean. The aisles are usually stocked well, floor is shiny, and I never have noticed any neglect from a lack of cleaning/organization. Produce is usually pretty good. My only problem is I don't care for the layout and I think that has to do with the fact that every Kroger is different. Meijer on the other hand is a little more consistent even if it is flipped around a little bit. The one thing that bugs me is there is no meat counter. They have a seafood counter, deli counter, and a bakery counter. Definitely a bit of a downer for me because I grill a lot so I like having a bit more selection. Plus I have had a couple of sub par roasts from here, turned out extremely dry and tough. Prepared roasts from Meijer the same way and they turned out much better. This Kroger beats the pants off of the other Kroger down at Frazho and Gratiot so give this place a fair shake. read more

They rarely ever have things stocked, there employees are RUDE and have no regard for customers shopping and will make sure they're in your way or have items blocking an entire isle. I have resorted to just going the tiny bit extra to go to MEIJER. Wouldn't recommend to ANYONE. read more

This is my favorite Kroger. I don't know why it's getting bad reviews but I've never had a problem here. There is always a great selection from organic foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, and different meats and seafoods. The florist has some of the freshest flowers I've ever bought at reasonable prices. The only thing I'm bummed out about is they got rid of my olive bar. It looks like all the area Kroger's did the same thing though. read more

Honestly, I don't feel like this Kroger is the worst. I go here often and generally can find exactly what I need. For the most part the shelves tend to stay stocked decently...with the occasional busy time periods as any other store happens to have. They tend to have a wide variety of what I look for and can have some pretty decent sales. The weekends and evenings get super busy but if you go during the day on a weekday it is pretty easy smooth shopping. I don't often encounter that many staff members as most of the time it's self check out, but the ones I do encounter seem nice enough at checkout. If you happen to go in store on stock day be careful because employees are definitely not mindful of shoppers and do tend to get annoyed you are in their way. The biggest complaints that I have about this store is probably the produce section. There are a lot of times when certain produce items have little to none of the product available for purchase or that the produce just doesn't look that great. Also, if I ever have any pricing issues upon check out it always seems to be with an item from produce. They could definitely do a bit better in that area. read more

The staff doesnt seem to know whats going on. I went TODAY to go take cans back.... 2 our of 4 machines were down and have been down for a long time. I waited 30 mins to take return because of the line that was going out the door. Im about ready to start loading my cans into the machine and a worker there thought it was the right time to shut one of the machines down to start cleaning it.... as the line was getting longer. read more

Visited this Kroger today, by far the friendliest Kroger I have been too. I was looking for fried onion chips for a greenbean casserole that I had never made before, not only did Tara Smith-store management walk me over to them, she did it with a smile and positive attitude. I threw away my Krogers card after my 2nd run in with ghetto clerks there. A cashier packed so close to my car that I could not get out without squeezing through. She was too good to park where the employees park and she that no one do anything to her and they have tried. She told me off in the parking lot by the store because my car door touched her car that she must have been looking for because her music was so loud she would not have heard a gun go off. Had two run ins with the staff...one from falling hard and they said "Well if you are going to sue...." I need help not a lecture. This is not a good Krogers to go through and when I called headquarters..........NOTHING....not even a phone call back. I have not gone back in over 6 months now. read more

I prefer to drive out of my way to go to the Kroger store at Hoover 11 in Warren. The layout of the store is much nicer and the parking is better. read more
