I needed to get a $1 refund because I did not read that the items were vegan. The guest service man twice tried to upsell me. I finally convinced him that my time is valuable and I do not want to stand in line if I happen to not find something else in this store. This interaction to me is poor customer service. By the way, I did not find what I wanted available on your shelf. So stock up. That trip I noticed 2 plastic bag recycling cans. The top of one seems to contain the proper items without trash or other unrelated items. On other trips there, I have find great clearance and sales. It is hit-and-miss. read more

I used to like shopping at Kroger because the prices were mid-range and the food was moderate in quality, but the customer service is poor or low tier consistently at this location even after I spoke to a manager about an employee who had a bad attitude. In short, they are on the lazy side. Generally, they make customers like me feel unwelcome and unwilling to do basic things like bag your groceries, which they are paid to do. If I go to Kroger, it will be elsewhere with different management and out of town. As a man with a disability, knowing they employee people with disabilities, I thought they would be more receptive to my critique, but unheeded opinions are their loss of business in the grocery market and further evidence of poor judgement and management and decision making at a middle school level. read more

This pharmacy is a complete joke. I have been s customer with Kroger Pharmacy for many years, though it has been with the one in Noblesville. When I moved to this area, I switched to this one. First, the time it took was extremely long due to being under staffed. Two, the treatment was completely rude. They judged me more then once over the medications I was receiving. Even creating issues that made me wait several days after my doctor had already sent the script in. Not because it was too early to fill from the previous script, but because this pharmacist disagrees with my doctor's choices. Towards the end of my time there, my doctor would send my script after our visit in the morning time. When I would call to see if the script was ready they claimed they now had to call my doctor back for confirmation. Mind you this has neverhappened, and after speaking with friends that go there as well, they tell me this has never happened with them either. There were also times where a medicating required a pre authorization from my insurer. This process could take up to a week to complete. I have friends that say l would be able to just pay out of pocket until the matter is fixed, which would've only cost me around $5. When i spoke with an assistant, I was told that would be fine. Yet when I drive to the pharmacy, the pharmacist then tells me she's not able to do that for me. The last straw came when I had a script sent and they did all of this again, but this time my Doctor spoke with them. I'm not sure what was said but he called me a few moments later and insisted I switched pharmacies. So I did, I now go to Meijer and it's great. They treat me like a human being, they are quick and friendly. I even had an instance where a prior authorization was needed on a medication and without me saying a word she told me she found a thing called goodrx that only cost me 6 bucks for they medication. She asked if that was OK or if I wanted to wait. I went ahead and paid the 6 bucks and it was ready within 15 mins. There service is night and day compared to Kroger and I will never step foot in that place again. Good riddance. read more

This was my main grocery store for years. Sometime in the beginning of March I noticed the level of customer service declining. Don't get me wrong, there are three or four employees that I enjoyed seeing and would greet me each visit. But Wednesday May 8th 2024 will be my last day shopping at the Kroger in Westfield. I came in to grab a product and asked an employee to help locate it. Her answer was "it should be somewhere in the frozen food section". I went and looked but couldn't find it. I came back telling her I was having trouble locating it. She said, " well it's over there somewhere". Frustrated, I went to look again. While searching, I watched the employee go from the front of the store to the back of the store. There's nothing that annoys me more than lazy people. I apologize to the few staff members that work hard and have helped me in the past. You were great the past few years. You probably even know the employee I'm referring to that does the bare minimum and activity avoids doing anything. If it helps, it was a little past 5pm on May 8th. I'll now be shopping at Market District in Carmel. Good luck to the good employees that have to work with her. read more

I usually love this Kroger but idk what the heck has been happening. There were only 2 lanes open and there were so many people waiting for them, I heard some of the workers even acknowledge the fact that there were a lot of people waiting yet none of them opened a new lane or asked a manager to be able to do so. I hate being here on restock days, because the employees act as if it's a crime that people are shopping at the same time as they are restocking, they crowd the aisle and make it to where nobody can get through. When you say excuse me to try to move past, you can tell that they become irritated. Lastly, the produce. I bought strawberries today and they were MOLDY, I looked at them before putting them in my basket, but they looked decent until I got home and truly examined them. read more

We bought our daughter's birthday cake from their bakery. It was fantastic. Amazing flavor, perfect whipped cream frosting and the decorations on the cake were on point. The building is older but everyone who works here is friendly and eager to help. read more

Convenient location, good parking, almost always has the basic stuff I need, self checkout that is easy to use, a Starbucks inside, a few other convenient shops next door as well as banks and the only gas station in this area. Overall a solid local grocery store. My only complaint is that the entire area needs an update and I wish they would go back to 24 hours. read more

Nice strip mall with wide variety of other shops, which Kroger is the main anchor. Minimal staff late at night, so you may have to wait or go find a cashier if they wondered off to do something else. This store seems to stock all the same items, give or take, as the other Kroger stores. Not the newest or most updated inside, but as long as the food isn't expired, and is a low price, I don't need a fancy store like in Carmel to do my shopping. Overall a nice store to have in the area, and I am certain the locals appreciate not having to drive far for good selection of groceries. The meat and deli sections looked nice with a god selection at both. They have a Kroger gas station at the far end of the parking lot, where you can use your reward points to lower the cost of fuel. read more

This is the closest store to my house. It's usually an ok experience as far as employees, cleanliness, etc., but they seem to ALWAYS be out of stock on sale items. Every time there is something I really need to stock up on, I have to make a second trip to the location at 161st Street and Springmill. I don't know why, but the other store always has full shelves despite being twice as busy. I'm about to abandon the close store and just start going to the other one all the time. read more

This store is in desperate need of an update. The staff is friendly and the produce section is pretty good, but it pales in comparison to the other Kroger stores in the area as far as selection and renovations. Their meat department doesn't hold a candle to the others. It is very convenient that the gas station across the parking lot accepts their gas reward points. 10/16/16: I've increased my stars from 3 to 4 because they finally updated this store. They even added a Starbucks... YESSSS!!!!!! Still not quite as nice as the one on Rangeline in Carmel, but definitely good enough to do my weekly shopping at. read more

I mentioned that I didn't enjoy a certain brand of chicken breasts and the butcher overheard me, cool old guy, told me he'd like for me to give it another shot, that perhaps I just got a bad one. I have grown fond of the Kroger on 71st St in Indpls but moved away from that area. I am closer to the one in 161st but I do think I like this one better even tho it is a little further away. I have been to several Kroger locations and maybe I am biased because it is in my neighborhood but this is my favorite. It is not a massive store but definitely adequate. The employees are generally very friendly and helpful. Great place to shop. read more

This is, without a doubt, the slowest and poorest staffed deli. I have been there multiple times and the service is atrocious. The people are incredibly slow. I have shopped in many Kroger stores over the years and this is by far the slowest. This is the most amazing Krogers I've been to. Clean and exceptionally friendly staff. There is a middle-aged woman that often works the self check out who often has me laughing. She is fast, attentive and great as well as many other employees. I love their organic food section and it's layout in the store. They have a great wine and micro-brew selection and their bakery rocks!!!!! The secret is in their frosting, light yet not lardy or overly sweet. It's hard not to walk out with something you did not intend on getting. It's nice to have a well stocked OTC med section, seasonal and makeup section as when everything else is closed, you are open 24 hours, saving me a long drive. You offer great plants for the yard in summer and gorgeous Christmas trees and wreathes in the winter. A convenient gas station on site in which I can use my shopping points and save 10 to 30 cents a gallon. The new coupon feature and Free Friday item loaded straight to my shopper card makes a trip here ultra convenient. No more forgetting coupons! The coupons are deducted as soon as I scan an item. How cool is that? And the Westfield firemen drive up in their firetruck and shop here! read more

Unfortunately the staff is not very helpful. I've asked on many occasions for assistance in finding something and they never know where anything is. I also find it a slap in the face how nice the one in Carmel is, yet no steps have been made to make this a fraction nicer, more helpful, or carry many organics and/or locally grown products.
