Lots of smiling employees, Stacie helped me find the paper products. I don't agree with the new layout. Things are difficult to locate and don't make logical sense for where they are located. I know that store layouts are designed to have the customer touring the entire store to locate the staple items that they are likely there to purchase, but it's still annoying. I was eventually able to locate what I needed, as well as a few additional items that caught my eye while shopping (congratulations, it worked). Check out via the self-scanners was fast and easy. The area was staffed with employees at the ready to assist, which is good because there are more u-scan registers than employee-manned stations now. read more

Was deciding if I was gonna write this review or not but it's been bothering me past 24 hours. Went around 8pm on the 26th of August 2024 and was grabbing a few things ... normally go thru self check out i just happen to be right in front of a cashier grabbing some last minute items .... So i went to the cashier ... first thing I noticed was her. Appearance lipstick smeared all over her face i thought it was a joke it looked extremely bad which mad me assume maybe she was low functioning and not to be discriminatory i told myself in the moment well if she is working a cash register she must be ok but walmart and or whoever knows her should let her know her appearance to customers is unsightly at the least .... But that wasn't the main reason to writing this .... Me being observant as I am..... i noticed her arms and literally they were covered in open puss like scars or healing puss like scars circles honestly resembling Monkey pox ........ I also purchased a bar a soap which she put to her face and smelled and put in my bag .... The monkey pox didn't dawn on me till later but she definitely had some type of fungal like Skin Condition that was far from healed .... Now why would u let anybody work in that condition or in view of customers? Im still confused .. luckily I had a bottle of commercial grade lysol in my car from work which I spread literally everything down. The condition of the bumps on her are didn't trigger possible monkey pox until a day later or I would of left everything in the store ... Wont say I wont go back to the walmart but spraying my items down now from honestly anywhere is a must ... as well as Self checkout ... i honestly don't want anybody touching my stuff once it leaves the shelves PTSD .... Went to get a fishing license. Waited for almost 20 minutes for an associate. There was another customer before me that wanted a fishing license. That left about 10 minutes after I did. I guess they had already been waiting for half hour. Finally, they had a manager that came back and I only work after training a couple times said I don't know how to do a fishing license. The only lady that knows isn't here today. There was no sign that said fishing license available only on certain days or certain times. And I am right on a Saturday. Which should be the time that such things would be readily offered. The store had numerous employees that were walking around. Only about half were working. Very very disappointed in the entire Walmart experience. would not recommend going to this particular Walmart anytime in the near future. read more

I encountered a panhandler inside the store. She pretended to not speak English. However, she understood everything said to her. She approached multiple people in the store begging for money to buy baby supplies for her children. She was not interested in going to a church for help. Interesting layout and location in the big shopping complex diagonally from clay terrace shopping center. This superstore has a big skin/ beauty section right in the front corner by the entrance. Also has a subway inside. This locations produce and food section is a little nicer than most other Walmart's. The self check out tends to be busy and doesn't like to recognize gift cards when checking out which is a hassle. All in all like most other Walmarts. Lots of stuff and a big building with many smaller departments inside for jewelry photo, paint, crafts, electronics and more. read more

Please be careful!! One day after purchase we noticed large amount of mold in sealed bacon bits. As a retired chemical company CEO/Chem Eng - I was worried it can be dangerous being sealed and maybe anaerobic (no Oxygen). Would hate for anyone to get sick. Called Walmart right away, and they said they would get it off shelves. 8 hrs later- I saw product still on the shelves to be sold. Manager said only corporate can make calls- which would take a long time. Walmart either did not understand or care. Called Oscar Meyer who recorded it - I guess - but quickly said it is just bread mold - which is aerobic. Don't know how they know. Low priority it seems. Called Health Dept and reported it. Seems more concerns need to be made to take action. In that the freezers were recently down at this Walmart - maybe just a coincidence. Anyway - be careful here. We will stay away- read more

Wow! Went to Walmart this a.m. Purchased multiple items. Sweet elderly lady said I got all my purchases. Got home and was missing one $21 item. Called and lady on the phone was very apologetic and said we could pick it up at customer service when we were out later. A few hours later my gf takes the receipt and runs in to pick up item. Long story shorter, it wasn't there. They looked a couple of places and then called a manager in. It took almost 25 minutes for a manager to review the surveillance tape and get our item. This is my second time attempting their grocery pickup. It is 7:45 and they are just starting their 5:00 orders. Mine was supposed to be ready between 6-7. The store itself is fine - it's a Walmart. The real issue here is the employees. They are so short staffed that all register lines were closed and customers had to self checkout their full carts, backing up the self checkout completely. The employees that were working had horrible attitudes and were so rude to customers. I don't typically expect much from Walmart but this was just ridiculous. What is wrong with Walmart and making things difficult on customers?? There's a Target close by to this Walmart and I would recommend going there! I ordered online. The substitutions didn't make sense at all. You can not simply hand back something you don't want. You have to actually return it in the store, which is difficult. You also can't buy alcohol if a minor is present. What!?! Where is that a law? The paying adult must show ID and be 21 or over. If I have my 10 yr old kid with me, that shouldn't matter. What can I say. Walmart is Walmart... There is a reason why it is having a hard time competing with Target and other competing companies. I don't shop here often, but every once in a while I go in search of something specific and to just paruse to see what they have to offer. And to be honest, I'm never impressed not satisfied with my visit. The bathrooms are more often than not dirty and in need of servicing. The employee I usually find are only towards the front so if you have any questions good luck. Their produce section is lacking color and nutritious looking offerings. Personal feminine hygiene products don't offer much in the way of natural or healthy products. Even the baby food and toys section could be better. I assure you that I am not very hard to please as a customer, but I do value quality over quantity just as the majority of the human population is starting to find value in as well. If you are in need of basic home care, health care, personal hygiene care, pet care, cleaning, clothing, many other daily necessities I recommend you look at Target instead. I have been attending this Walmart for quite a while, and although I have never received horrible service, the staff has always been short, grumpy, and not very helpful. Tonight and two of my friends came by to pick up some groceries, and I dropped them off at the front and parked at the side because one of my friends is handicapped and i knew it would be a short trip. The manager came out to ask me to move to a parking space but I did not see her at first because my windows were up and I was scrolling on my phone. The manager banged on the hood of my car and screamed at me to "get to a parking space" as she gave me a dirty look and rolled her eyes. I moved to a spot as soon as she asked and waited for my friends to let me know they were outside so I could pick them up. One of my friends called me and said she was ready, so I moved back to the front to get her. My other (handicap) friend was not with her, and she told me that she was checking out and would only be a moment, so I stayed at the front. I waited as my friend got in the car to wait with me, and a hear an employee yell "didn't she just ask her to leave" as I was given more dirty looks, even though I had been back at the front for less than 30 seconds at this point. My friend came out within one minute of me pulling to the front. As my friend shut her door and I was changing gears to leave, the manager comes back yelling at me saying "now its time for us to have a conversation". I rolled down my window and told her I had just pulled up for one minute to pick up my friends and that I wouldn't be parked there, but she threatened to call the police and told me to leave. I have parked at storefronts many of times as always make sure I am in the white, and have never had an issue with it anywhere else. I do a lot of driving for my elderly grandparents and friend, so it's much more convenient. I understand if the owner/manager wants me to move, and I am more than happy to be compliant with that, but banging on MY car to tell me to move when I am giving you business is ridiculous, especially when I am then threatened to have the police called on me after being nothing but polite and respectful. Talk about a store living up to it's reputation.. This Walmart definitely lives up to it.. Had to return a gift I received from a family member.. Went up to the customer service desk with the item, told the lady working the desk that this was a gift from a family member and this was the receipt I was given... So instead of asking hey would you like a gift card, like what Target and other Walmarts have done/do.. This lady immediately just returns the item to the credit card on the receipt, after the fact that I told her it was a gift and wanted a gift card... Now I have to call this family member and explain why they will see a return and why I returned the gift.. I talked to the manager and store manager, both were extremely worthless.. The best part, as I am walking away, I turn and all three of them are laughing at the situation.. Way to go Walmart, why not train your employees to use their head and listen to the customer.. read more

It's a Wal Mart, so there wouldn't be five stars, but ... The pharmacy here is excellent. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The floor people will stop what they are doing and walk you to what you are looking for. The photo department is always helpful. Products are usually fine and the shelves aren't empty. It's a Wal Mart. It's generally a fine place to run in and pick up a few things. The grocery is good and has everything you need. This is the place to pick up your giant pork picnic roast for your Kailua smoking event. The fried chicken and deli an also good. The bakery staff are friendly and helpful. You can order your cakes with a short lead time and they are nicely done. read more

I come to this store often cause it's close and usually a quick place to shop. But the last time I was there I was going to pick up a old spice shower gift box which was clearly marked for $9.88. I get up to pay for it and it came up at $14.88. So I let them know that it was less and the supervisor went to check the price. She came back and told me that somebody had moved it so it wasn't the 9.88. And she couldn't lower the price cause her boss was not working that day. It's bad enough that they close early due to COVID, but them lying within 20 minutes of close stating that their systems are down and bathrooms doesn't work is horrible. They refuse to let you in when other customers are clearly still using self checkout. Clearly have no value for their Patrons, and below par work ethic. It's amazing to me that any store manager worth their position would allow this to take place. For a Walmart, I give this particular store 3 stars because I do like the improvements they have made recently. However, yesterday I stopped in to grab a few items and develop some photos and I noticed the following: First, why are the restrooms located near the back of the store? I don't understand that concept. If you use said facilities prior to shopping it seems like your experience would be more pleasant than having to trek to the back of the store before you start shopping and you've already passed half of the stuff you would like to dump in your cart... I mean at that point you're just wandering around all over the place like a lost puppy Second, why do you need two associates in the photo lab area if they are both just standing back there chit chatting? Seems like a waste. Plus, they weren't overly friendly by any means. I will continue to shop here since grocery items tend to be cheaper than Marsh or Kroger but will certainly go to Marsh over Walmart if I need to use the restroom before I start any serious shopping! I don't think that there was one good thing to say about this place. As I walked in the door greeter said to me "Woo almost time for break." instead of hello. The boys working at the deli let me stand there for 8 minutes before saying or acknowledging me. They were slicing meat and I thought that maybe it was for a customer who stepped away so I didn't want to be rude. But they were just filling up their case. I ordered turkey and cheese and it took another 15 minutes because they were just totally in slow motion. I wanted to scream and pull my hair out. The one kid asked me 3 different times how much I wanted weight wise. The cashier was rude when I was paying. The system crashed while I was there and leaving a different door guy was just sitting there and a elderly lady and I fixed the carpet that was bent over so no one tripped on it. HORRIBLE! read more

I have purchased fusible interfacing here for several years. The bolt of Pellon has always said it was $1.97 yd. Last time their scanner said it was $2.97, and I pointed out that was wrong, and the gentleman from electronics changed it and apologized. Today same thing happened, only this time the clerk went to get a manager and the manager took a black marker to mark out the price on the bolt. All the bolts on the shelf were marked $1.97. I left the interfacing there and went for a manager, and this young kid says "I'll talk to them". What? What has happened to customer service that it is okay to mark something up right in front of the customer!!! read more

I really despise Walmart. While this Walmart has done some major improvements to the grocery section, it still lacks in other areas of the store. Narrow aisles, empty shelves and less than caring employees makes for a very disappointing shopping trip.
