Very cool spot in Omaha. A huge beer selection which is always awesome. The place was a little small but definitely provided for a cool environment. Easily my favorite bar in town. A throwback to the prohibition era, no neons or ads, old school decor and in true early 20th century fashion mounted taxidermy. Really really good bloody mary's. The best has to be the Bakon bloody mary. Second best has to be the sage. The other crafted cocktails are quite yummy as well. This place does get pretty packed on the weekends but what do you expect from a bar that has awesome drinks? The only reason I didn't give 5 stars because one time the bartender was rather rude. It seemed as if my boyfriend and I were interupting the flirting and conversation that was going on between her and some guy. Nice atmosphere and selection of beer. That's where it ends. Sat at the bar for a while with credit card in hand waiting to be served, with 3 people behind the bar, and was not acknowledged once. One guy just kept sweeping back and forth, essentially doing nothing. Maybe picking up a glass or two here and there. The other 2 ladies ignored me. It was not elbow-room only packed. Then some dude walks up to the bar right next to me and got immediate service. Very disappointed. There were 4 other people with me. We left shortly after that. read more

The atmosphere is simple but at the same time feels upscale. The beer selection is great, and the bartender was very friendly. As some of the other reviews mention, it's nice to have something other than the typical garbage beers (Anheuser/Coors) that most bars in Omaha serve. Krug is exactly what Omaha needed. Not a dive bar or a sports bar, Krug is a sophisticated bar with an extensive drink menu, including a great root beer for the non-drinkers. With no TVs and upbeat music, Krug is always a guaranteed good time. read more

My wife and I felt totally ignored at Krug Park. I tried to place an order at the bar and the waitress acted as if I was invisible. After 25 minutes of being ignored by the staff we left without a drink. We will not return. read more

Of the beer bars I frequent, Krug Park probably has the best atmosphere. Not quite as many hipsters as Jakes across the street which many may appreciate. The beers here, although very good, are not as diverse as Jakes or Crescent Moon IMO. I might be biased though because of my preference for belgians. Quick, knowledgeable servers. When this place was first popular their bloody Mary's were amazing. Ordered the Bakon and it was stacked high w beef jerky. Brought friends there tonight and we got jerky crumbles in a sub-par Bloody Mary. $10 was the biggest waste of money. I was embarrassed to recommend this place. Perfect place for a date night! its "nice" without feeling too fancy. There are No tvs, so conversations aren't interrupted with annoying sports or banter. There are no ridiculous beer decorations. its classy and clean. But you don't have to worry about a dress code or anything. Ambience is cool and cozy, lit candles, taxidermy, lots of reclaimed woodwork. Its A bit pricier than your average benson bar, but these crafty cocktails are made with love. So its worth it. The drinks are strong, and the cocktail menu is ever-changing. They also have a crazy amount of bottles and cans AND taps of things for you to try if you're the adventurous beer type. One of the best back decks around, too. so perfect in the summertime for daydrinking. It gets absolutely bonkers here on saturday nights, and actually, weekends in general tend to fill it up with what i can only describe as rich west o people out trying something new. But Tuesday and Wednesday nights here are the jam. Anne is one of the best bartenders in omaha. She really knows her stuff, And will make you something pretty and bubbly, whether its on the menu or not. read more

Wonderful bar. Incredible selection. One of the female bartenders is not very friendly, but overall very nice wait staff. Classic place. Only thing that could be improved is to add a bit more food to the list besides chips...and somehow place tile in the ceiling or something to muffle the sound which is a bit too live. Benson, what a lovely location with awesome night life! This is one of our favorites when we head out to Benson for a night on the town.

Classic case of a wonderful product and atmosphere but poor service. Didn't care for my drink once i took a sip n was told by the bartender n then the owner once returning it n asking for a diff drink that i would be charged for it. After pleading for them to practice cust serv 101 the owner n bartender didn't charge me. The rest of the evening i was treated like i was the ass and their "regulars"(laden w tattoos n summer stocking caps) waited on hand and foot. Their service is broken n outsiders(any one in business casual) are treated like 'the weekend crowd....welcome to the "new cust serv in midtown bars". Cocktail tables thru out bar n deck but no cocktail servers(Friday night)so u are left to come to the bar for every drink.IE the bartenders make the schedule(make more money). I am a business owner and was once a bar manager (11yrs) in omaha in a much higher volume downtown bar and we did't teach cust service...we hired it! If u let your bartenders treat "the weekend crowd/new customers" poorly u will soon realize the weekday crowd doesn't pay the bills. Will be back...I imagine their service will improve once they get some competition in Benson(btw...the brewery was very cool and not the least bit pretentious). read more
