Please make sure you get your belongings BEFORE it is taken into the tow yard. If you cannot, take pictures and videos of everything. Do not trust what anyone at that shit box says. Once it's in the yard, you WILL NOT have access to it and there's one guy dumping your belongings in a trash bag that brings it out to you after an hour of waiting. They will go through your things and steal items that are untraceable (i.e cash, jewelry, laptops was fine as they can be tracked). It sucks when you get into an accident and these thieves are the first on the scene to tow your car. I would highly recommend going literally anywhere else if you want to avoid major headaches. If they give you a hard time about getting your personal items (which you are entitled to under state and federal laws), call the police and document with your insurance. After my vehicle was towed, I discovered that several of my personal belongings were missing from inside. When I contacted them to ask about the missing items, I was met with denial, evasiveness, and a complete lack of accountability. There was no proper documentation of what was in the vehicle at the time of the tow, no effort to resolve the issue, and certainly no apology. It's clear that this company does not respect people or their property. I strongly urge others to avoid this company if possible. If your vehicle ends up with them, take photos and inventory of your belongings immediately. My sister just needed to collect her belongings, however they made us wait 2 hours just for them to bring everything back in a trash bag. Lady said it would take 20-30 minutes. And they'll overcharge the hell out of you, and won't let you see your car in case you need to get pictures or anything. I called my local police station and was told I needed a release form, went to CHP was told I didn't need due to being a victim of crime. Asked for one anyway. Got to tow yard and Sam the girl at the counter was rude in asking for paper work. I told her, I was the victim here. No kind of care or apology from Sam. I paper work to save more of a hassle. She then told me it would be $1155.!!! I of course flipped out and questioned. I asked why were not notified?? My car was stolen on a Monday morning, I reported asap. My car was found by CHP at 12:45pm then towed to Kruger Tow at 1:45pm. All on the same day of incident. I received no phone call,no text, nor email. I did 1 week later receive a letter via snail mail aka old fashion postal delivery. Sam said they didn't have my information nor was it her responsibility. I asked how did you get my address? No reply. After deciding to just pay and get my car, she informs me that either ATM or credit card I will be charged 3%. Now bill is $1165. Overwhelmed, I paying and Sam asked if I was getting it towed!? I'm confused because police report had no damages or reason my car wasn't drivable. She says the catalytic converters (my car has 2) are gone. I replied I'm calling AAA. They bring my car out on a forklift!! When AAA gets there, they drivers ask why I'm not driving. I tell him and he looks and say nothing is missing!!!!! WTF!!! He says they are known for lying so customers leave their cars and they auction them off. The people are very rude inconsiderate, this company violates the law I've had my veichel towed by this company and they violate the law. By law if you get to your veichel before they actually tow it they are supposed to let you pay half of what they would normally pay if they tow it away. Due to a recent car accident, my dad's car got towed here and we were forced to come retrieve all his belongings. I wasn't expecting great service being that this is a tow yard, but the girl at the window was actually relatively friendly. She explained what papers we needed to sign and was pretty nice. After talking to her, everything went downhill. It wasn't until the very last minute that they informed my dad and I that they are a "closed facility" and we wouldn't be able to see the damage to the car or get our belongings out ourselves, some random stranger who worked here was going to do that. So we just asked that everything be taken from the car and had to wait. We were left waiting and waiting and waiting. Took about thirty minutes before someone came out of the gate with all my dad's stuff. The guy brought out my dad's golf bag (with all the clubs) and his lunch box, and EVERYTHING ELSE was thrown in a TRASH BAG. And by everything else, I mean EVERYTHING: car registration, GPS, transponder, a full portable cup of coffee, parking permits, golf shoes, clothes, CDs, loose change, pens, a plastic bag for trash (including ALL the trash), etc. I mean REALLY? Just a complete lack of respect for his belongings. Luckily, none of my dad's important stuff was ruined by the coffee or the trash they threw in there, but we were still extremely angry about the manner in which his stuff was returned. The guy didn't even hand my dad his belongings, he just dropped it on the ground and walked away. UNBELIEVEABLE. There also aren't many places to park, so be prepared for other people to box you in.... So the girl who gave us the paperwork was all right, but everything else about this place SUCKS. read more
