After my dentist told me that my four wisdom teeth had to be extracted, I was terrified and nervous by the words that she had uttered. I was expecting this to be one of the most excruciating experiences that I could have in my fifteen years of existence. My dentist recommended that I get the surgery performed as soon as possible because the pain would be less severe at a younger age. This statement made me even more anxious and afraid of what would happen to me. However, about a month later when my dentist broke the news to me, I finally mustered up the strength to tell my father to assign an appointment with an oral surgeon to do the surgery for me. He finally scheduled the appointment for me and said the receptionist had told me that I could not eat or drink 10 hours prior to the surgery. Keeping this in mind, I had a big dinner before the day of the surgery as being hungry while having four of your teeth pulled out would have been a bad idea. It was Thursday, the day of the surgery, the day I had been dreading for weeks and weeks. I remember pushing the doors and taking my first look into the office; it was very nice quiet office with some nice decorations of golden leaves encased in a glass case. The tranquil atmosphere of the room took my mind of the surgery for a little bit. About fifteen minutes had passed and my named was called. As I stood up from my chair, I could hear my heart thumping harder with every step I took following the lady to the operating room. My dad filled out the paperwork and brought up some questions about the medications I would have to take after the surgery. The lady that had lead me into the room answered all his questions and asked if I had any concerns before they got started. I nodded my head no as I just wanted to get this whole ordeal over with and go home. Mr. Krupp had come into the room and greeted me with a warm smile. He could see I was shriveling up in the chair and that I was holding on with a tight grip. "Everything will be fine." he said, "It will be over before you know it." My dad was asked to leave and return to the waiting room, so that the surgery can begin. Mr. Krupp left the room presumably to get ready for the oral surgery. The other lady had a friend that was preparing the room for the operation. She asked if I wanted vanilla or peach flavor for my oxygen mask. I was not aware that they even had flavors for oxygen, but kindly asked for vanilla as the sweet tangy aroma would help ease my mind and keep me relaxed. They later enabled the notorious 'laughing gas' (Nitrous Oxide) into my oxygen mask where I began to feel the tingling sensation across my stomach and had the irresistible urge to burst into laughter. (At this point, I was feeling really good and totally forgot that I was having surgery in the first place) "Is this why they call it laughing gas?" I giggled to the ladies. "Yup that's why." they said both chuckling with me. A few minutes later, they put two sticky pads on my chest which was connected to heartbeat monitor and another wire on the left side of my stomach. Before Mr. Krupp re-entered the room, the ladies put a stress ball in my right hand and told me to hold on to it. When Mr. Krupp did return, he told me to squeeze the ball as hard as I could, so he could prick my vein with the needle which contained the sedative that would help me fall asleep. That's when I started to fade out and could only remember the radio getting louder and drowning the noise in the room. I woke up dazed and a little dizzy. It took me a couple minutes before I realized where I was and only knew that the surgery was completed when the lady told me. My dad came back into the room and guided me into the back exit where he had the car waiting for me. I was walking like I was drunk from a New Year's party and my vision was still pretty hazy. I waited in the car while my dad was getting the medicine from the pharmacy for me. I looked into the car mirror and noticed that there were two gauze on both sides of my mouth which were covered in blood from the extraction of my wisdom tooth. I couldn't feel the pain since I was still numb from the surgery. When I got home, I threw out the old gauze and rinsed my mouth before replacing them with new ones. My dad also said I couldn't drink through a straw or spit for at least 48 hours after the surgery, so I had to be careful not to do those things. Sleeping was the first thing that came to my mind after that and I took a nice long nap to replenish my energy. Eating soft mushy foods such as mashed potatoes, soup, and applesauce were the only things I could handle after the surgery. I still had to be careful not to chew to hard and not touch anything towards the back of my mouth as there were stitches to help sew up the gums from the extractions. After a lifetime of painful dental work including 5 years in the orthodontist chair endless root canals and finally an unfortunate accident that resulted in the loss and failure of nearly all of my teeth I spent a year trying to hold onto my teeth as I researched my options. It was clear I needed an oral surgeon and complete removal. Dr. Krupp and his staff were everything I expected and wanted. Diana is awesome I cannot say enough about her kindness, she is comforting, knowledgeable and never pushy. I left her office renewed and content I had found the right oral surgeon. Dr. Krupp is in every way a top notch surgeon and he and his staff have proven themselves to be genuine and caring before during and after my procedure. From beginning to end I was treated with kindness respect and concern in a non judgmental environment. Arrangements were tailor made for me when I requested them or needed them. There were no surprise fees mistakes or extra costs. The entire process ran like a well -oiled machine and at the helm a confident captain with the presence and ability of a celebrity surgeon. I was further impressed and gratified when I found that all of the dental professionals working in conjunction with Dr. Krupp held him in high regard. My general dentist and the dental prosthetic lab assured me I could have no better oral surgeon and theses colleagues sang his praises and worked harmoniously with him and with me from the moulds to designing my teeth which the dental lab and I designed per my specifications. I couldn't be happier with my experience, it was a scary undertaking but I was made to feel comfortable, respected and after all the time I wasted in a dental chair throughout my life, Dr. Krupp is the reason that I now finally smile with genuine confidence and pain free! Let me just say reading reviews has a pro and a con but I am happy I took the chance to see for myself. I scheduled a consultation appointment and tried my hand. On the initial appointment I had an xray taken and was taken to the room to see the doctor. The assistant played a video for me to watch about wisdom tooth removal. After the video she explained more things in detail about the procedure and allowed me to ask her any questions, she was very pleasant. Dr. Krupp came in for about a few minutes, looked at my xray, then checked inside my mouth. He was pleasant and didn't seem like what people said about him in previous reviews. He was only in the room for about 2-3 minutes. I scheduled my appointment to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed and I was able to get thr procedure 2 days later. I arrived for my appointment with my designated driver, I had to fill out forms pertaining to driving precautions about 15 minutes I was called in the back and I had the chance to meet Tina, SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY SWEET AND PROFESSIONAL!! She made me feel very comfortable and it felt sincere. She started my medicine for the procedure. De krupp entered and was even more pleasant than the first time I met him. He was so nice and had great bedside manner. The last thing I remember is Dr Krupp someone to turn the music up and he got to work lol. He was cool afterwards too. I got all four of my impacted wisdom teeth removed and the bottom two were horizontal and the top two were vertical. The calm, soothing voice of the surgical assistant relaxed me a tiny bit, as I have anxiety and hypertension in doctor's offices, but I am glad that she explained every step. From the x-ray to sitting into the chair (I started nervous trembling), I tried my hardest to not think about the procedure ahead. My blood pressure was too high for a greater dose of IV sedation and honestly I remember everything. The vanilla oxygen mask to the laughing gas to getting the EKG (heart sounds) to the calm music, I just saw white for most of it. The local anesthesia numbed my gums completely and all I felt was the drilling and pressure, but minimal anxiety. Next thing I know, it's all over and I got escorted out the door, so it was that easy. I'm not in too much pain with some ibuprofen and the only annoying thing is your mouth being numb and swallowing blood. I could barely eat any soft foods today because my mouth is so sore, but I hope it will get better. read more

I have had ongoing problems with a root canal. After receiving a great referral from a friend, I contacted the Krupp Center. I was warmly greeted on the phone by the receptionist. An appointment was scheduled the same day! When I arrived for my appointment I was amazed at how profession this team treated me. I was put at ease almost immediately with the compassionate assistant that took me back to reviewed my health history. She actually seemed to care! Dr. Krupp entered the room, introduced himself and assessed my severely infected tooth. He took immediate action in preparing a care plan for me. The assistant explained the procedure to me and answered all my questions. Unfortunately the tooth has to be removed. I was NOT sent home to make an appointment for another day, Dr. Krupp made time for me, to remove the tooth. After the procedure I was assured by Dr. Krupp that I should be feeling better in a few days. I thanked him for his generosity in taking such great care of me. My Dentist told me that all my wisdom teeth were sympathetic meaning growing in on a angel and would push all my teeth forward therefore I had to get them pulled asap, and thats the most scariest thing somebody could tell me. After seeing my grandfather get his pulled and all the blood and pain he went through i was said no way not this girl. But my mom made the appt. anyway. i was soooo surprise when i walk in the building the staff were soo nice the place was soo clean and high tech. Dr. Krupp was very nice as well. They even had a dog there. The dental ass. walked me through the whole procedure, and before i know it my mother came and walked me to the car, I didnt wake up in the middle of the procedure , i was sleep the whole time.' You can call and ask question at any time of the day and they wont hestitate to give you an anwser, and I only took my pain pills 3 times , pain wasnt even an issue it was just that darn swelling. I was referred to Dr. Krupp by my own dentist to have all four of my wisdom teeth removed. Like many other people I heard horror stories of how painful their experiences were with getting their wisdom teeth removed so I was pretty nervous. When I got to Dr. Krupp's office I felt that the staff were very helpful and reassured me how easy and painless the procedure was going to be. I found Dr. Krupp to be very nice and joked with me to ease any nerves I had. I was told the actual procedure would only be about 15-20 minutes. The dental assistants gave me laughing gas and I was put under by anesthesia through my vein. I barely even felt the needle! I am a few days out of surgery and haven't felt any pain at all. My cheeks are swollen and a little bruised, but after hearing about all the pain my friends went through I feel extremely lucky. I would absolutely recommend him and go back if I needed anything else. read more

Ok, so having one of the most excruciating events in your life get 5 starts, well that should say SOMETHING about the place that handed it!!! I'm not the easiest woman to please, which one is, right?! Especially with an abcessed, cracked molar. However, from the financial part, which can be just as painful as an abscess, to the actual extraction, I was taken care of with a sense of genuine compassion. Knowing I was just as fearful of the dollar amount that had to be paid, I was reassured no matter what the cost,I was going to A) be treated immediately, regardless of what I COULD pay that very day !?!? B) payment plans could be arranged and C) the entire ordeal of the actual procedure was done in less time then it took go fill out my forms, which I could have done online had I previously known. my dentist recommend me to go to the Krupp Center at first I was leery because when I checked Google it only had a 2.3 star rating but I decided to go anyway and I'm happy that I did as soon as I walked in I noticed that the place was very clean and very neat and wasn't small so you didn't feel cluttered and the staff from the people in the front to the people in the back were just very nice and friendly especially Diana she was just super nice very helpful it was just an all-around great experience the doctor came in and explained to me what has to be done what could be done. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Krupp OR his staff. The front desk staff were polite and informed. When I was running late for my appt., the staff member who answered the phone told me to take my time and drive carefully. I had extensive dental surgery that required tissue replacement and dental implants but did not experience one moment of doubt once the staff and the Dr educated me about the procedure. It took several weeks of healing but they were with me all the way. I returned to have a sinus problem corrected and later returned for a cosmetic procedure. After having 3 wisdom teeth pulled 5+ years ago, my last one decided to come in. I was in excruciating pain and after calling around the earliest appt i could get was 3 wks away. I called Dr. Krupp's office and they brought me in that day for my appointment. Everyone on his staff is friendly and knowledgable and they made my visit smooth and enjoyable (as good as it gets for getting a tooth pulled). They filled my prescriptions for me before the procedure so they would be ready. The surgery went well and they gave me everything i would need for the healing process. I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed yesterday. I was extremely nervous being that I've never had any kind of dental work outside of braces. The nurse (her name begins with a "T" and has an accent, I'm so sorry I don't remember her name!) was SO sweet, informative and comforting from beginning to end. Dr. Krupp was also extremely personable and sweet. I knew I was in good hands the entire time and I'm so thankful for having such a wonderful experience. I don't remember much of the procedure, it went by very fast (id say maybe 25 minutes in total) and very pleasant. I'm on day 2 of healing and feeling good. My husband went in as an emergency to have teeth pulled. He came straight from the ER. He was in so much pain already with a very bad infection. They took him in right away NO questions asked. The staff was so amazing. Everyone of them were sympathetic and kind. My husband is terrified of anything dental. Dr. Krupp was so understanding & kind to his needs. They knocked him out so he wasn't so worried. After he woke up they were just as sweet to him. They had us in & out as quick as possible.
