From a former massage therapist: I just had what was likely the most effective massage I've ever had.

This time I specifically came cupping because I have some pain areas that is affecting my sleep. I just came back from a vacation from Asian which I felt is taking long time to recover physically. After the cupping procedure I did find they my shoulder , back and neck area was instantly relieve.. I will Update you all soon if I slept better .

I was in major pain, work has my back out of whack and was in desperate need for someone to get everything feeling better. I gave Lucky foot Spa a call and headed right over. I knew how messed up I was so I opted for the two hour massage for $140, such a great deal for something so necessary for me. Jennifer was my masseuse and she was super strong, maybe even too strong for me and I'm a thick gym goer who has a decent pain threshold. I thought I needed work on my back, but Jennifer found that the true cuplrit of my pain was my neck and shoulders. She tried to knead her way to get the knots out of my neck and shoulders, but I will definitely need a few more visits for a real resolution. Its been two days since that massage and I am feeling so much better! I definitely need to make a bi weekly massage part of my self care routine. When im ready for my next one, ill be right here at Lucky foot spa

My partner and I booked massages in advance and were placed in separate private rooms when we…read morearrived. The place was clean and simple, no fancy decor but inviting enough with dim lighting and gentle melodies playing in the background. Beware, you can hear through the walls -- cars honking outside, staff chatter (in Chinese) in the lobby and shared space with massage lounge seating, even my boyfriend's snoring in the room next to mine during our sessions. We got the combination massage (30 minutes foot/30 minutes body), and my experience was positive. Pressure wasn't consistent during the entire treatment, but for the most part it was on the deeper side and effective. The first half focused mainly on the back, plus neck, shoulders, and arms, as well as a bit of the legs. The second half, my masseur asked me to "turn over" as he left the room briefly. He meant not only to flip over to lie on my back but also to change positions so that my head would be at the foot of the bed. From there, he did a very detailed job on my legs, feet, and each individual toe, borderline painful but overall good. We paid upfront before our services, including a credit card fee (2.50 per massage). Afterward, we gave a cash tip. They have a sign at the front asking for $20 (with very friendly language), which is the typical amount we tip anyway. The staff was incredibly kind and professional, so I have no complaints.

They asked if I was comfortable with a male massage therapist, and I said yes. However, the therapist appeared extremely nervous and was shaking throughout the massage. He was unable to apply much pressure, making the massage ineffective and uncomfortable. I paid for a full-body massage, but only the back side of my body was massaged. The front was completely skipped. When I asked why, I was told the therapist wasn't sure whether it would be appropriate. That explanation made no sense to me, especially since I had already agreed to having a male therapist. If you're advertising a full-body massage, customers should receive a full-body massage. What made the experience even worse was how my friend was treated. After her service was finished, she was told to wait outside in the cold while I was still receiving mine. The area is not the safest, and I found it incredibly unprofessional to ask a paying customer to stand outside and wait. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing massage experiences I've had. Poor service, poor communication, and not the service that was advertised. I will not be returning.

They offer the opportunity to just purchase massages à la carte or you could sign up as a member. You can always decide to get your massage and then make a choice as to whether you want the membership or the à la cart fee. My masseuse was great. I told him the areas I needed to focus on and he was good at being an attempt to that. The pressure wasn't too bad either. I would say the only downside was that the massage was not long enough. Definitely could've gone for 180 minute one versus the 50 minute one. Checkout was nice and simple. Everyone was nice and friendly and what made this even more specialist that it is a black owned. Signing up as a member is just in paper because there's no membership fee, per se. But you do need to give them at least 30 days notice if you choose to cancel. The membership price is cheaper than the drop-in rate, and since it's pretty close to me, I decided to sign up for a membership. Parking isn't too bad. There's street parking and also a garage where you can park as well. Definitely worth checking out if you need to get your zen on.

It ended up being one of the most relaxing experiences. I had a bad headache that day, and Sasa focused on my head massage, which helped a lot. I felt so much better afterward. I will definitely come back and recommend this place. They don't speak much English, but they are very open and accommodating to your needs. Their prices are on the more affordable side, so I highly recommend tipping generously if you're happy with the service. They do ask you to pay first, but I let them know I would add the tip after the service, and they were completely okay with that. I didn't feel pressured to tip in advance at all. The place is clean and neat. see the pictures for reference.

When I looked up, I saw she was on her phone, texting, and only using one hand to absentmindedly rub my head without paying attention to what she was doing. I immediately called her out, and she didn't deny it--she just told me to wait for another massage therapist. This experience made it clear that this business does not prioritize or respect its customers.
