Returned to Calhoun's Krystal after our bad experience review a year ago. Drive thru order taker was very rude, interrupting when you try to talk. Operation is also very slow, about 10 minutes per car. However, they gave us an extra fry with our food, and at least it was warm this time. Better, but more change could still be beneficial. read more

0 Star - The Nastiest Krystal's I've Ever Seen This place was a disaster from the jump. It took the cashier almost 15 minutes to ring up my $18.05 order because she had no clue what she was doing. I went to the restroom while waiting and instantly wished I hadn't -- DIRT on top of dirt. Absolutely filthy. Then it got worse. I come out and see the same cashier making my chili cheese fries with her bare hands. No gloves. And as if that wasn't enough, she literally wiped the leftover cheese onto the floor. I stood there in shock with my mouth open, waiting for her to notice, but nope -- business as usual. At that point, I told my husband we weren't eating there and we left. A drive-thru worker actually chased us down asking why we were leaving. I explained, and she said informed me that no refund would be given and basically I shouldn't be offended. Like this was a regular thing for them. Then after our back and forth she finally said I'll get the manager. Fine. The manager was out of her office when I got back in the restaurant and instead of apologizing or offering a refund, she hits me with: "We don't do refunds... you want some apple pies?" Apple pies?? After watching your staff barehand my food and wipe cheese on the floor? That's your solution?? Needless to say, I left without the food OR the pies. Called once I got to the truck to speak to the GM...... no answer.(Go figure) Krystal's corporate needs to see what's going on here because this location is beyond unacceptable. This was simply awful. Took forever, the order was all screwed up and when we asked for it to be corrected they apparently just tossed it together. Was just a huge mess and not seasoned at all. Do not go to the Krystal in Calhoun, save your money and hit up the McDonalds across the way. Spent over $28 with the grandkids today and will never, ever, ever return to this one. The one here in Rossville and Ft. Oglethorpe, GA are great but the one in Calhoun is just horrid. Didn't want to toss it so we have it to our neighborhood homeless guy. read more

Worst service ever!! The blonde older woman at the front register needs to be replaced. Her attitude is horrible. I walked in to the counter with no line. I was looking at the menu to decide what I wanted since it had been a while since I had eaten at Krystal. The woman walked off to the help the girl in the back. I waited another 5 minutes for her to come back to take my order. I thought maybe she thinks I'm still trying to decide. I politely said I'm ready to order. Her replied with a sarcastic attitude, I''m helping this girl now. You will have to wait. Another woman standing at the window behind me said, Really I can't believe she said that and that she was having trouble with her attitude also because she had to bring an order back to get it straightened out. I waited a little while longer and the woman did not come back to counter, I decided to give up and leave. I was going to get a picture of her name badge as I was walking out the door. Her response was with both arms outstretched and slight bow saying y'all come back to see us. She's running your customers off. Get a friendly person without a horrible attitude for your person that meets you when you walk inside. You've lost our business for sure. read more

Like every Krystal I've been to post Covid-service absolutely sucked. Waited in line 15 minutes. Get to the speaker...please wait. Wait another 5 minutes before pulling off. I know working in fast food sucks, but you signed up to do a job and you are paid something.....if I was the owner I would either shut it down or pay people worth a damn to work. 4 other cars behind me pulled off as well. Number one with cheese, two Krystal's with Cheese only and two chicks with cheese only.... Pretty simple order right, pretty hard to screw up not once but twice? This was a challenge we'll met by the staff of Krystal in Calhoun, Ga. Not once but twice I received incorrect orders and it wasn't until I arrived home to find... the two Krystal Burgers with cheese only were drenched in yellow mustard. The funny thing is my wife hates and I mean loathes Krystal because of these screw up's yet was the one that suggested we give them a chance. Congratulations Calhoun Krystal for consistently being the worst fast food restaurant in not only Calhoun, Ga but the entire region. Also to the sweaty dude not in uniform who came through the entry way into the kitchen, beltched, scratched your belly then proceeded to touch the finished items on the line. Also, no receipt was given, no napkins, no straws so I cannot reach out to corporate or at the very least partake in the one thing they couldn't screw up; a pre-made soft drink. Avoid the Krystal in Calhoun Ga. I live in Calhoun and this is the worst Krystal that I have ever eaten at. Always consistently bad. No steam on buns, burnt onions on burgers,you name it, it's bad. My brother in law came in from out of town craving Krystal hamburgers so we drove to the Krystal in Dalton. Don't waste your time getting off I-75 and stopping here to get Krystals. Full of drug addicts with no teeth and sores around their mouths ! Food Thrown together. I ordered a chili cheese fry , but got a tot in it, fries old and disgusting! My chicken wings were half done&& the girl tried to receipt them instead of making fresh ones! The worst Krystal ever and I love krystals! I grew up in Marietta and Krystal was a huge part of my youth. So while on a trip from California, I needed that little square burger that I can't find anywhere in our state. The food was tasty, so that's the 3-stars. I did wait a while to place my order so the guy behind the counter could make some milkshakes. No biggie, though I've seen turtles move faster at the Chattanooga Aquarium. The next part was the problem. To put milk in the for the hand spin shake, he was opening one of the kid sized milk bottles. He didn't see the pull tab for the foul and fought with it for a while until at one point he gripped it with his teeth and pulled it open. Umm... yeah, I just said that. His TEETH (and probably lips) touched the top of that milk bottle before he then poured milk into two cups and made milkshakes for other guests. If anyone is listening, the name on my receipt is Casey. You REALLY need to have a talk with this kid. Nice guy and all, but that's just not right, freaky, and gross. read more

Love getting my fix of Krystal when I visit the south! This location was so pleasant - when we walked in, everyone said hello to us, the food came out fast and the manager checked on us to make sure that we enjoyed our visit. If I could give them no stars, I would. When we walked in, there was one lady in front of us who ordered 3 chix. Took about 10 minutes for her order. After that, we placed our order. Not only did it take, 25 minutes, they got the order wrong every time it was handed to us. As we walked out, she had forgot a pup and fries. My boyfriend had to go back in and get those, which was another 10 minutes. After getting back on the road to head back to Ohio, she has messed up the pup she forgot. By far the untidiest Krystal I have seen in the 21st century. There was actual mud on the floor at the cash register. More tables in the dining room had random napkins, ketchup packs and crumbs on them than didn't. Floor needed sweeping in the dining room as well. There was an untouched broom and dustpan propped up against a table. A suggestion to guests? Took 8 minutes to get our order taken. When we got our food, the fries were barely warm. The hamburgers were too greasy. For the first time in my life, I left a Krystal hamburger uneaten. We were overcharged (charged for 4 cokes instead of the 3 we ordered). Eventually the manager, without speaking to me or making eye contact, came over to the cash register to refund my money. She did say, 'Sorry for that' when she dropped the refund money into my open hand. I looked closely at my receipt at the table later, we were apparently charged $2.12 for adding cheese to 6 hamburgers. I tried to contact Krystal.com to send feedback, but the form to submit feed back tells me that store # 325 in Calhoun, GA, doesn't exist......Well, it existed for me Memorial Day 2016, and it was substandard, and had the most dismal service and food and cleanliness standards of any fast food restaurant I have been to in years. read more
