Don't be fooled by the "Under New Management. Arthur is Back" update they tossed up on the reader board. This Arthur fella has been back for a couple of months and this location is still beyond disappointing. I was going to boost up to two stars, as since his famed return, we did have one visit with minimal issues. We were actually surprised and thought "Ok Arthur!" Well, that was definitely short lived as our latest visit to the drive thru found the only three employees standing out front smoking and quoting us a 20 minute wait because they were all on break. They stated, an I quote "We all on break, going to be 20 minute hold time and we aint got no onions". There was no one else in line or in the store, and they were quoting 20 minute "hold times". I am all for folks getting their breaks, and 100% support it, however this is a lack of leadership and lack of concern by the leader on duty. We were, again, upset and surprised. But we did it to ourselves. The best thing for this location is to just close. The employees are not interested in service and things just are not getting better. We were craving Krystal after arriving at the airport on our way home. This Krystal was convenient off the Goodlettsville exit on I - 65. We ordered a family pack that came with 2 chili cheese fries and 12 Krystal cheese burgers and ordered a Diet Coke. The price of our meal with tax was $20.30. The Krystal burgers hit the spot and we were quite full after eating the Chili Cheese fries. The food is just like going back to the 60's..great hamburgers, steamed on a puffy soft bun with a dollop of mustard and onions. The chili cheese pups are some of my favorite things to get here. The fries are equal to any other restaurant and the change in management has had a major effect on this dining experience. Arthur is the driving influence lately and we have been several times since he came back. This restaurant is open for business and you won't be disappointed. The BEST hospitality!! The group we were with specifically located a restaurant that would take indoor seating, as many other Krystal restaurants in the area were drive through only. We called ahead and spoke to Arthur who told us that he would gladly have the restaurant ready for us! When we arrived it was clean, smelled delicious and the turn around in food was FAST! The best part of our experience (besides the food) was the hospitality. A girl in our party was named Krystal-and Arthur went above and beyond to set our table individually for each person and shared all the great photo taking opportunities within the restaurant as well! First we came and tried to dine in and all the doors were locked, so okay fine we go through the drive through and sit for no longer than 10 min but long enough to get impatient and wonder if their open. it always takes forever to go to the Goodlettsville Krystal. You wait in the drive thru forever. The past two times, we get to the speaker and the lady tells us to hang on a minute. We hear her entire conversation inside the restaurant. She never acknowledges us again. We we're in line for 30 minutes total only to have to drive off. Went to Krystals with family on May 28.2022 for lunch. I ordered from the ap when we got there as it was 50% off if we did. (That was the best thing about the visit.) Upon arriving the floor was dirty with food and trash, the bathrooms had urine on floor and trash, and smelled bad. After I placed the order I went and placed another order at counter for one of there specials they were running to get another fry and drink. I also went to order a chili that is on the menu and was told they don't have chili and haven't for awhile. The girl at the counter had no customer service experience at all. She acted as she didn't care to be there and lost. There was a lot of people coming in and leaving as there was so many already waiting for food. Over all ordering and waiting for food we were there for for about 45 min. Way to long to get food. Then get order and missing 2 orders of fries, and when pointing that out got told it would be awhile. After waiting about 12 min or so went up there to check on fries and she had forgotten, and then asked about the order i placed at the counter, she had it bagged and sitting there said she new someone ordered it. I just shook my head, she never called out the number or anything for me to come get it. Overall the food was just not good. Not hot, and to much mustard on them, when you bite down and mustard drips on you, that's to much. It has been awhile since i have been to this Krystals and it will continue to be longer bc of this. I hope they get there act together. I am a local and new people who worked here years ago and this store never looked like this. I've been coming to this Krystal over 10 years, and every single time. The food has been ABSOLUTELY FRESH AND AMAZING!. There is so much I could say about this location of how good it is. But all these other locations closed down, or shut down the lobby. I drive a box truck and can't go through drive through a and this is the only location I've found that you can go in the lobby so why not!!! Such nice employees here as well , it would be awesome if they updated this Krystal to a big lobby for dining in. I will always give this store 5 stars because no other Krystal around here compares to this one. And when I say it's fresh every single time... there hasn't even been 1 time the food wasn't 10/10 so whatever this location is doing the other locations need to take notes! read more

I had to get some Krystal burgers while I am in the South. They are so much better than White Castle in the North. New items on the menu. Got the special of 4 Krystal burgers for $3.05. They were not as good as I hoped but were fine. I thought about trying the Krystal burgers with onion straws and BBQ sauce. The variety of (flavors like banana, pomegranate, blueberry, etc.) freezes sound good but maybe not for $2 each. I was surprised about the cashiers also served as refill drink hosts. The guy taking my order thought he was being cute when he got frustrated with me because HE could stop talking long enough for me to tell him what I wanted. He told me, " the grill just went down and the car in front of me was the last order being taken". What did I do? I put the car in park and told him I would wait until the grill came back up! As I sat there, cars came up behind me... I rolled my window down to let them know the grill was down... three times. I have never felt more unwanted at a place in my life! We had to wait 5 or 6 minutes before anyone even acknowledge we were there (and no they were not busy there was not another person in line). All the employees (other than one girl working her butt off in the drive thru) all playing on their cell phones. The assistant manager finally asked if he could help us in the most annoyed voice. Forgot our hash browns, my sons biscuit was raw in the middle, my husband took it back and he was again very annoyed we even bothered him and gave us ANOTHER raw biscuit.
