Malai Chicken and Chili Momo beef

I was surprised at how good this restaurant was. They lack curb appeal and have a cheap looking sandwich board by the door that advertises specials available until 2 am. But once inside, it's apparent that they have an immaculate dining room and tastefully decorated walls. The momos were great as well as the Indian dishes. They have an extensive Indian and Nepali menu.

I walked in and was directed to the bar. The place is a decent size with plenty of seating. I went on a late Tuesday evening so it wasn't too busy but seemed like they only had one server. But she was attentive and did a good job. I start off with the chicken lollipop. The flavors were good but the chicken was a bit chewy. Overall it wasn't terrible but not really memorable either. For my main course I went with the pork momos. Those I did enjoy. Good flavor and cooked well. You can order the dish at your preferred spice level and I went with medium. I probably would go for hot next time as medium didn't have much of a kick. I did enjoy my visit here and would make another visit if I'm in the area again.

We came at an off time for dinner. The restaurant was empty and one waitress was working. She was such a kind and attentive waitress. We ordered a mango lassi which we split between the two of us, lamb vindaloo, garlic naan, and rice briyani with chicken. For both entrees we opted with the medium spice level. It was for sure very spicy. I have a high tolerance for spice and enjoy it and even I had to eat slowly with multiple sips of water. The food was good, tasty, and hot!! The chicken in the rice was very tender and tasted just as good leftovers. The only complaint was there was not a lot of lamb in the vindaloo, more potatoes.

Went in for an early dinner and sat at the bar. We ordered momo and chicken pakora and a few beers. There was no official bartender so the nice young woman who took our food orders was delayed a bit in getting drinks as she was also taking all the other orders in the restaurant. The beers were cold and the apps were delicious. We also got tandoori chicken and a side of raita which was delicious! The only unfortunate part of the meal was how long it took for the food to come out. I'm guessing that was partly due to the sheer amount of door dash and Uber eats orders that came through while we were sitting there. There wasn't enough support in front of back of house to accommodate that and in-house dining. Hopefully that remedies itself in the future!

Stopped by during a roadtrip for a quick bite. We only had a short time, so we weren't able to eat all the food and the kitchen took a while to get all the dishes out. I enjoyed all the food though. The fried momos were different but really tasty. Nothing was too spicy and we ordered it all as mild. Would recommend the garlic naan and mango lassi.

butter chicken, butter garlic nan, coconut nan, Jhol momo, chicken samosa, mango chutney.

The flavors were absolutely OUTSTANDING, every bite was a perfect balance of richness and depth. It was my first time trying Indian and Nepali food, it was NOT A LET DOWN. These flavors will surprise you if you've never tried . HIGHLY SUGGEST.

what a great meal really hit the spot. plenty of vegetarian options and plenty for the meat eaters as well. such a diverse array of food was so happy to find this gem in Manchester.

    Great stuff at KS Kitchen

Delicious dinner on a Monday night downtown. The menu was huge but everything we ordered came out fresh and quick. Decor is a little dated, and the service took little prodding but took care of us with a smile. Delicious.

One of the best in Manchester. I always get the tomato soup and a paneer dish. I get to-go or delivery, and they are always great.

They offer a variety of momos, fried rice, chow mein noodles, shapta (Tibetan stir fry), stews, soups, seafood boils, fried seafood, fries, samosas, sandwiches, and mango lassis. The pricing seems pretty fair. They offer in-person ordering, online ordering through Square and DoorDash delivery (higher pricing). There are a few tables near the counter to eat your food. I've stopped by Wow Momo and More a few times already for takeout. I've enjoyed the Seafood Boil Combo ($14.99 plus tax) which had shrimp, mussels, sausage, potatoes, corn, boiled with spicy seasonings and garlic butter. One my last visit, they ran out of corn and gave me some extra mussels. My home smelled like seafood for a couple days. The handmade Steamed Chicken Momos ($9.99 plus tax) with dipping sauce was very good. The Fried Haddock (2 pc) with Fries ($11.99 plus tax) was a good portion that filled up the takeout box which had crispy haddock filets and crispy fries with tartar sauce and ketchup provided. The Chicken Fried Rice ($9.99 plus tax) was freshly prepared with a mix of stir fried rice, shredded veggies, scallions, egg, onions, garlic, and tender chicken pieces, hot sauce provided. The Fried Calamari & Shrimp Combo ($13.99 plus tax) had plenty of small breaded shrimp (cleaned) and breaded calamari (soft chewy rings & tentacles) with tartar sauce provided. Overall, Wow Momo and More offers solid good Tibetan food and seafood at fair prices and quick service if ordering ahead online.

You do get to pick your spice level for the Chili plate. We got 3 out of 10. Chili and Tarkari came with plenty of sauce to cover the white rice they came with. I loved that everything was mixed with different vegetables, which helped make the dishes colorful and healthier! Service was very quick, from ordering to getting the check. Everything is great for sharing if you want to try a little bit of different dishes.

We ordered 3 appetizers, 2 entrees and naan to share, but we each had one item that we favored. I asked if everything can come at the same time. They said yes. Each dish came out one at a time, 15-20 minutes apart. After each dish, I asked if the rest was coming together. They kept saying yes. By the third time, I explained what we wanted again and they again said the rest was coming out together. Nope. I told the waitress that we were disappointed with what was happening and asked if she can bring the final dishes together. She said yes. Nope. My boyfriend got the meal he ordered last, approx. 1.5 hours after we got there. It was luke warm. The food was mediocre (at best). They hardly checked on us, we kept having to ask for drinks. We just wanted to leave and it took a long time to get the check. We were there almost 2 hours in total. The chicken chilli came with sesame seeds on it. I've never seen that before and it wasn't in the listed ingredients. I have an allergy to it, my bad for not declaring it but if they are going to list the ingredients, I wish they listed all of them. I've only tipped service less than 20% in my entire life, even for bad service, on principle. I tipped 15% here and as I walked out, I felt like that was too much. We got there mid afternoon and the place was not busy. We greeted and seated almost immediately. It was a super pleasure to have Sandesh as a server and what a super nice and helpful man. Not only did he treat us well but also explained a lot about Nepali food and culture as we asked. He checked on us often as his way to make sure that everything was going well and if we had any questions. I learned that water buffalo(buff) is one of the favorite proteins in Nepal. We were informed that they get the meat from a farm in NY and that they like to keep to authentic flavors. For an appetizer we went for the buff pan fried momos. We had both spicy and non-spicy dipping sauces since I prefer non-spicy. I found the sauce delicious and the buff to be an interesting protein that I would try again. For my main course I went for the chicken thali after learning that it is one of their traditional meals. You get a little bit of everything including dessert - a delicious greek yogurt mixed with green cardamom and coconut. Our server mentioned that if we wanted anything extra (except for the protein) that they would be happy to bring it. We had tons of leftovers because we tried several dishes and asked if we could have more rice and they provided a complimentary container when our food was packed. Place is super clean and has beautiful Nepali decorations. Even your bill is brought in a wooden box with Nepali carvings. There was soft music playing in the background. We were curious about the hot pot tables but were informed that they were left by the previous restaurant but that they don't offer hot pot. The women's bathroom is cleverly decorated with Nepali scenes and has a beautiful authentic faucet. Our server informed us that on Wednesdays and Thursdays they offer what he described as Nepali street food. Selected dishes are $5 except for a a whole fried fish that is $10. We might have to check them out one of these days. An overall great and unique find!
