Wow. Truly top flight Indian/Nepalese/Himalayan cuisine in Manchester. What a win! I've long told friends that the one culinary shortcoming of New Hampshire, around me, at least, is good Indian. Well KS isn't good, it's excellent! We sampled cauliflower 69 (if I recall the number correctly app), veggie korma, Goan fish curry, saag paneer and garlic naan. All were as good as I've ever had anywhere. I specifically asked that the cauliflower be NOT sweet (as it usually is) and they happily complied. Savory and with just a bit of heat. The saag was smooth and creamy and the paneer of just the right texture. Goan fish curry has a unique flavor profile and they nailed it. The veggie korma had a nice variety of veggies and the sauce was creamy and mild, just the way our friend likes it. Finally, the naan came hot and fragrant. If I'd known they served huge amounts of basmati rice with the entrees I wouldn't have ordered two but, oh well, just more food for us as leftovers - no way I was going to leave all that good sauce behind. And food as well - the servings were generous and we couldn't even visualize finishing it all at one sitting. For sure, we're going to be regulars going forward. read more

I was surprised at how good this restaurant was. They lack curb appeal and have a cheap looking sandwich board by the door that advertises specials available until 2 am. But once inside, it's apparent that they have an immaculate dining room and tastefully decorated walls. The momos were great as well as the Indian dishes. One of the best in Manchester. I always get the tomato soup and a paneer dish. I get to-go or delivery, and they are always great.

Food was delicious. I had saag paneer, medium spice and it was so tasty. My friend had pork momos and loved them too. She raved about the coconut naan. I brought home garlic naan for my husband, and he LOVED it! I would recommend that they get a nicer sign, because the inside is very classy. read more

I walked in and was directed to the bar. The place is a decent size with plenty of seating. I went on a late Tuesday evening so it wasn't too busy but seemed like they only had one server. But she was attentive and did a good job. I start off with the chicken lollipop. The flavors were good but the chicken was a bit chewy. Overall it wasn't terrible but not really memorable either. For my main course I went with the pork momos. Those I did enjoy. Good flavor and cooked well. You can order the dish at your preferred spice level and I went with medium. I probably would go for hot next time as medium didn't have much of a kick. I did enjoy my visit here and would make another visit if I'm in the area again. read more

We came at an off time for dinner. The restaurant was empty and one waitress was working. She was such a kind and attentive waitress. We ordered a mango lassi which we split between the two of us, lamb vindaloo, garlic naan, and rice briyani with chicken. For both entrees we opted with the medium spice level. It was for sure very spicy. I have a high tolerance for spice and enjoy it and even I had to eat slowly with multiple sips of water. The food was good, tasty, and hot!! The chicken in the rice was very tender and tasted just as good leftovers. The only complaint was there was not a lot of lamb in the vindaloo, more potatoes. read more

Went in for an early dinner and sat at the bar. We ordered momo and chicken pakora and a few beers. There was no official bartender so the nice young woman who took our food orders was delayed a bit in getting drinks as she was also taking all the other orders in the restaurant. The beers were cold and the apps were delicious. We also got tandoori chicken and a side of raita which was delicious! The only unfortunate part of the meal was how long it took for the food to come out. I'm guessing that was partly due to the sheer amount of door dash and Uber eats orders that came through while we were sitting there. There wasn't enough support in front of back of house to accommodate that and in-house dining. Hopefully that remedies itself in the future! read more

Stopped by during a roadtrip for a quick bite. We only had a short time, so we weren't able to eat all the food and the kitchen took a while to get all the dishes out. I enjoyed all the food though. KS Kitchen opened in the former Mint Bistro in Downtown Manchester. This Indian Nepalese restaurant and bar is open for lunch and dinner offering full service dining, takeout and online delivery service (DoorDash). The dining room and bar are in one long room with table seating and the long bar counter to the left with seating, takeout counter and kitchen in the back. I stopped by KS Kitchen for dinner takeout recently. The place was not too busy on a early Saturday evening. I ordered the Chicken Biryani ($14.99 plus tax) and Chicken Momos (8 for $11.99 plus tax). They even asked me how spicy I wanted my food while ordering. It took about 27 minutes for my order to be all set. I enjoyed my food back at the office, where I needed to do some extra work. The portion of the Chicken Biryani was generous with plenty of juicy chicken pieces in a spicy rice mix. I did chew on a couple small bone. The steamed momos were filled with a soft ground chicken mix and a spicy sauce was provided for dipping. They also provided a vegetarian raita with my order as well. The chicken biryani we had yesterday was the best I remember ever having, agreed by all three of my party, all devotees of Indian food. I often find biryani dry but this was anything but - rich and chicken was tender. I was also told by my two lunch companions that the saag paneer was exceptionally good. The Indian pizzas are a fun and tasty addition that I suspect will particularly appeal to picky eater kids, and I LOVED that they offered dumplings with different sauces than the usually tomato based momo sauce. I personally particularly liked the hot sauce while the others were split between that and the more sweet dumpling sauce they brought us just in case we found the first too hot. Although the food initially seemed a little slow coming out, once it arrived we agreed food that good was worth a few extra minutes wait. Everything was delicious, the service friendly and the dining area well decorated and comfortable. I found the room temperature perfect but one of my party was a little cool. We were already picking out dishes for our next visit before we finished. We will definitely be back soon. read more

Delicious food and great service. Plus a very friendly and kind owner. We had shrimp biryani, lamb saag, chicken tikka masala, chicken momo, and garlic naan. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I order tikka masala at every Indian restaurant I go to, and I thought this was one excellent, creamy, and rich. The lamb in the saag was notably tender. Note: we ordered a couple of the dishes "medium" and one of the dishes "mild." The medium is fairly spicy. Our server was very nice, and the owner stopped by to say hello to us at the end of our meal. He was very gracious and kind. I got the chicken tikka masala, which came with rice, and an order of garlic naan for takeout. Both were delicious and fresh. The chicken was tender and moist, the sauce was flavorful and creamy. I ordered it medium on the "spicy scale" which was not super spicy and a perfect "medium"... tons of great flavor. Next time I'll try the spicy, but this was my first time here so I just wanted to try the medium and it was great. The garlic naan was cooked perfectly with great garlic flavor and a nice sprinkle of fresh basil and perfect amount of charring. The portion sizes were generous. The interior of the restaurant looked really nice including a large bar. I'll definitely be back for takeout and would love to dine in sometime. Maybe the naan was a bit thin and dry but the garlic butter offset this impression. There are a few other Indian places in town, decent, yes, but this place is better. Excellent food and served piping hot! Yellow Daal Tadka and Saag Paneer, both with complex flavors, were exceptional! Naan is much better than the local competitors. The menu of Indian dishes is somewhat limited but hits all the mains. Atmosphere is nice but there's some fast food decor that takes it down a bit. Don't be discouraged by the American food on the menu - it obviously does not detract from the excellent Indian dishes. Service was perfect, polite, and timely. Been desperate to find new flavorful, inventive, and actually-spicy-upon-request Indian food and I'm so happy I just found KS Kitchen! The tikka masala was sweet & spicy as requested. But the best part of the dish is the chicken - clearly charred and moist. The garlic nan bread was thin, crispy, and topped with a little oil and cilantro - just terrific. I also got the lollipop chicken - the flavor profile tangy and a more green Chile-type spice. Tremendous. Me and my gf are excited to try the whole menu. read more

Overall, the food at this restaurant was amazing. Every bite was just as expected; flavorful, vivid, and vibrant. The inside was clean and organized, and I was saddened to see a lack of people. My group and I walked in late night and were greeted quickly. We got waters right off the bat and placed our orders. My only two issues were the fact it took well over 45 minutes to receive our food (the location being where it is in the bar scene, faster service is better), and we did not receive one of the dishes we ordered. However, we had enough food on the table for us and disregarded the forgotten item. The server was kind and courteous, although when another group came in (I assume friends), he sat with them and ignored our table for a bit. I tried walking up to the bar to order a drink to get his attention but was ignored. Overall, for the price and service, I'd still come back (probably at an earlier time in the day). Decided to give this place a go. We have been looking for a Indian restaurant we can adjust the heat profile of our dishes. The food is delicious the restaurant seemed clean and the staff was kind. My only negative about the place is the overall cost. We ordered butter chicken garlic naan and samosas thinking with the price they charge it must be family size portions. It's definitely not we got a small tin of rice a small cup of butter chicken some naan and 2 samosas the total cost was about $50 so in reality your looking at 50 per person for a appetizer and a main course. To me that's crazy from a ordinary restaurant like this. I could understand a upscale restaurant but this is as mom and pop as you can get. read more

We are working our way through most of the menu (although neither of us enjoy the spicier dishes), and our favorites so far have been the chicken "saag" and the fish "pakoora."
