I approve! Everything was easy and relaxing - just how you want your salon experience to be. I'm always a little apprehensive about 'reservation only' places because I don't go regularly and don't plan well in advance. I sent a message request for an appointment through yelp and got a quick response that was very accommodating to my needs. The salon itself is clean, doesn't have the overpowering smell some nail salons do, nice decor and equipment was all in good working order. Owner is an ass, the nail tech I had was awesome, the massaging parts of their manicures and pedicures are short, you have to bring your own nail file/pumice stone (Oregon law), and if you pay with card there's a $2 service fee no matter how much your total is. Explanation of comment about the owner: 1) I called to book the appointment and asked for gel nails on my fingernails and toenails. They booked me for a full nail set & pedi (not what I asked for). I figured I could just correct what they had me down for once I got there since there was such a big discrepancy from what I asked for to what they booked me for/there was a little language barrier. 2) Once there, I decided to get the pedicure but still wanted my nails done with just gel polish. I realized I was being given a manicure at the end of the manicure, once she started applying lotion and massaging my arms (In Oregon...or maybe just this establishment... cuticle work is a part of the manicure and not included if you do just gel polish. In my experience, cuticle work is included with a gel polish so that's why I didn't stop the manicure at the beginning). 3) I was charged for a mani and pedi, but asked them to make the price right since I had never requested a mani ($15 back is what I was asking for). Mani = $40, Gel polish = $25 4) The manager agreed at first and asked me to come back in so he could put it on my card. I was no longer in town so we worked out a different arrangement (Venmo). The next day he texted me and asked for my Venmo. I gave it to him and he venmoed me $10. I asked for the full $15 and he proceeded to tell me that: a) gel polish was $30 (LIE and I told him that I knew it was $25 via his employee) b) I had booked a pedi and full nail set and they lost business because I didn't get the services they booked me for time-wise (a fair point if I had actually done that but I had called in and requested gel polish on my toenails and fingernails NOT a pedi and full nail set which is what they booked me for). c) I should have know that I was being given a mani and stopped it (I would have if I had realized sooner-I had never gotten a manicure before/the reasons I listed previously). d) I should have addressed the problem when I was paying for it (I did think the price was high, but not knowing their prices I didn't want to accuse them of something. That's why I called them back and asked what a gel polish cost/learned I'd been charged for a manicure). All of this was said rudely and at one point he yelled it at me (and at one point I yelled right back...very unproductive). No resolve was reached. Make sure you know what you're doing if you go to this establishment because they'll treat you like you know what their business plan is. read more

To start off... THE BEST SEVICE. Henry did an amazing job doing gel nails and a regular pedicure. I went home and put closed toed shoes on and messed up my toe polish. They took me right back in immediately and let me upgrade to gel on my toes!! I had a terrible experience at KS nails. The technician was rude and shammed me over and over in front of other customers. Then turned to her friend and was laughing and speaking in a different language. She was so rude I couldn't believe it. After repeatedly shamming me I finally had enough and let her know she was being abrasive and rude. Then she came back at me for more. She pushed her chair away and then said, "DO YOU WANT SOMEONE ELSE THEN". I said, "No, I'm fine but I just wanted to let you know that you were being rude". When she walked away I apologized to the lady sitting next to me for having to hear all of that. She actually couldn't believe how the technician was treating me either. She said that normally she is really nice. I don't know maybe she was having a bad day. But I was there to have a good day, and my friend was there treating me to a B-DAY Pedi. I sat through it and couldn't wait to get out of there! She did a nice job but I've never had somebody treat me that way at a nail salon. I called the manager and he offered a free Pedi but there is no way I would go back there. I'm sure people have better experiences there. Overall the technician was unprofessional, Blunt with her words, and rude- Not a Bend Vibe I want to experience! Toes look beautiful and she did a great job with that though. read more

My first time here was pretty good. My boyfriend and I got mani pedis and it was for the lost part good aside from my toenails not being trimmed at all. But I let that slide so I decided to come back. Then I tried the dip. For 50$ it does not seem worth it. My cuticle were not taken care of no cleaning under nails and there was no hand massage and my hands were so dry I had to ask for lotion and he said it would be 5$ extra to do massage. I could have gotten a full set for way cheaper and all Henry did was glue dip glue dip glue dip file and top coat, no designs or anything fancy just black dip. Not worth 50$ plus tip. which I did because I work around the corner and know how it is but I will sadly not be coming back. Dips are the easiest to do and the price is too high for something like this. I've worked In the cosmetology industry for 13 years and taught in two different schools so my knowledge is pretty vast and for what I was given for 50$ does not match up. That should have included all cuticle care massage and a paraffin dip or something to rehydrate. I hope hey take this into consideration and change their pricing or what's included. read more
