However i wasn't asked about if u had tint when calling to book the appointment i have zero knowledge on windshield repair so i wouldn't have even guessed to ask that. So I decided to get it done quickly instead of wait until it was time for my State inspection in July. Let's see how everything went. I've dealt with Safelife for years and their service has always been great. What's even better is I can use my auto insurance to help cover repairs. With mine, it's just a $0 deductible. And they work with the insurance company as well. So using them was a no brainer. For this appointment, I dropped off my car at the Hampton location for the windshield replacement while I traveled to Virginia Beach. Almost 2 hours later, my car was ready for pickup with no problems. Without insurance, I was looking at spending nearly $800. Thank God mine covered everything with no money spent. That task cannot be done in your driveway. In any case, each time the receptionist was friendly and had all of my paperwork ready to go. If you decide to wait for your car, be prepared that the waiting room isn't very large. There's a Gender Neutral restroom available and some complimentary coffee. Each time it took about 1 1/2 - 2 hours for the job to be completed. The technicians have been extra professional and ready and willing to answer any questions about the repair/replacement and/or about the warranty. Safelite does great work. Recommended.
