This remarkable suite is perfect for a honeymoon, a girls' trip, or for two couples who are traveling together on a road trip through southern Oregon. Now let's talk about the food that is served in the common areas, whether you prefer to eat inside or outside. There are fireplaces in both areas that are quite lovely. This place had attractive, well-maintained grounds, attentive and friendly service (ask for a city map with hours and recommendations), clean and comfortable rooms, decent wifi, plus free parking and continental breakfast (cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, hard-boiled egg, packaged muffins, coffee, juice). I actually only wanted to give the place four stars because the noise level coming through the door between rooms was outrageous, but I am giving the extra star because someone gave them one star for having a dirty nightstand. We stayed here during an Oregon Shakesperare Festival trip and really enjoyed ourselves. The staff/owners are amazing. Very friendly, helpful, but not in any way intrusive. The accomodations are great. The House itself is on the National Historic Register and have been well taken care of. The breakfast was awesome--homemade granola with fruit and yogurt--delicious! One thing to keep in mind is that if you're considering this for accomodations for an OSF trip, you may want to reconsider. It is over half an hour from Ashland, so not very convenient if you want to stop back by between shows or shopping. Very nice place, well staffed. Highly recommended.
