One star because that's as low as I can go. I stopped in this store today to grab pizza for mine…read moreand a co-worker's lunch. When I walked in, I was surprised by how loud the music was, because the usually isn't the case. I went to the drink station and the "song" that was playing was using the extremely offensive words f*ck, n*igg*r and gangb*ng. And I'm not kidding...it was loud. There were probably four other customers in the store, plus myself. Four employees were at the cash. It looked like two were looking at the music on their phone, because when I finally said to someone "do you hear the lyrics to this song?", one said "It's not my fault, it's Pandora." I got up to the cash, with 3 pieces of pizza and a large drink, and I noticed the manager standing there (his name is Scott). I asked if he was the manager and he said yes. I asked him if he could hear the lyrics to this song and he said no. I proceeded to tell him the words in the "song" and he said, "Well, you just said them." And if I didn't like it, I was free to leave. I then asked if he would want his children or grandchildren hearing these words in a PUBLIC PLACE? He brushed me off. I told him that I was very offended and I didn't think this kind of music should be played in a convenience store (whatever people listen to at home is their business), and it was disturbing that, as the manager, he thought this was acceptable. He said I was the only one who had complained about the music, and I said it was only one song. But really...one song has all of these words in it? I can't image what else was on the play list. Anyway...I shop at this location quite a bit because it is a "convenient" store in a "convenient location," especially in the summer. We buy drinks, gas, pizza for work on occasion, and I exchange propane there. I paid for my purchase, even though he was trying to get me out the door. Then he pushed my items toward me and said "I'm sorry we couldn't satisfy you today, ma'am." Yep...not going back there. Ever. It would have been even more mortifying if my young grandchildren had been with me. A convenience store in the mountains of Colorado with tourists galore, or anywhere honestly, unless you're in a bar or strip club, is not the place for this kind of offensive "music", especially when there is unlimited choices of what to play over the store speaker.

This location used to be awesome. But not so much anymore. They've gone through some changes and…read morethose changes have not been positive. Now they have poor management, unfriendly employees and for some reason they NEVER have breakfast. We used to be greeted by Linda who was the most energetic fun loving lady around with her fun music and early morning cheer. There was always fresh breakfast and a positive start to the day. It's a real shame that Linda isn't there anymore and it shows. That positive feel is gone and has been replaced with sour moods and bad attitudes. Shame.
