Love the variety. Highly recommended. My favorites are the taro milk tea with green tea and bubbles.

Bubble tea itself is very good. I have often come when the staff is very understaffed so the line and wait are long. One time I came and they had run out of bubbles, so that's not great for a bubble tea place. My favorite is Oreo milk tea with bubbles! read more

I've been coming to this location more recently because there isn't a crazy line like the one on Harvard Ave. and they accept credit cards for under $5 so it is certainly a plus. This location is much more of a chill vibe whereas I felt the vibe at the Harvard Ave is more a hangout/place to be spot and the Chinatown location is a more grab and go. This is a nice location of you want a quiet and casual place to chat with your friends. The Oreo milk tea here is consistently delicious with just the right amount of sweetness and the Oreo bits are always fresh never stale or soggy tasting. The few times I've been here there has been an incredibly long wait for a simple order of one bubble tea per person. Took 15 minutes just to get my milk tea with bubbles. This place has to be understaffed because it shouldn't take that long. They have a good variety of options a good ambiance and advanced machinery, but the fact that I waited a quarter of an hour when there were only two people ahead of me is very unprofessional. i honestly prefer chatime or infusions tea spa in allston. i usually ask for zero sugar and less or no ice, but its still really sweet. i usually get the taro milk green tea with boba (bubbles), and the bubbles are covered in honey, which is really good. other than the sweetness, its pretty over priced, but any bubble tea place is over priced. the hours are pretty good, you can stay late to chat with friends and family. i usually stay until 10pm, and its conveniently next to a t stop (multiple t stops, b c or d line depending on where you are coming from). read more

Always way too empty for the service and quality! This is the best place and I think unfortunately it is not in a cooler place where it could thrive more (it is sandwiched between one of the surliest old school pizza places I've ever been to and the restaurant where Adam Richman gave up once). I hope the neighborhood takes to it because their Taro Slush is incredible, and they once made me a free drink because I was an idiot and made a custom drink that was kind of a bad idea (which they still obliged politely in the first place!). I can't recommend them highly enough, they're so sweet and helpful when it comes to the daunting menu (which is mostly delicious, I am just an idiot who asked for a dum combination once. Word of advice, don't get hot matcha milk tea with red and mung beans added, it feels a little too much like chili leftovers added to a latte.) read more

This has been the second time that I tried stopping by here on my way home and they have not been opened and it was around 11:05am. The hours say they're supposed to be open at 11am. It looked like no one was in the store either. Another couple behind me also was going to go in, but left. I find it strange that a business isn't open when it says it is supposed to be and that this has occurred twice. read more

I'm not exactly a bubble tea connoisseur, but I love Kung Fu's wide selection and customization options. Dropped a star because the first time I went there, they were out of boba...which, I know, isn't all what bubble tea is about, but it is what I get it for, so I found that pretty inexcusable. read more

I liked the mini butter syrup waffles they were selling at the counter. They were surprisingly soft in the middle. I got a hot latte but there was no soy or skim milk available. I had to ask them to add sugar (fructose syrup) at the counter. It was nice to try but I prefer Starbucks for coffee. read more

Went here when it first opened. I am dairy free and inquired about their other dairy options. They use a type of milk powder for their milk teas and they don't have other substitutes. I ordered a mango tea with bubbles and a strawberry smoothie with bubbles for the kid. They undercooked the bobas so badly it was disgusting to chew. The child didn't want to drink his smoothie because of this, and two other people in my group agreed it was undercooked after tasting his drink. My boba were undercooked as well. When we told the cashier, she told us that the boba would become hard in cold drinks. We even showed her and the other staffers how the middle of the tapioca wasn't cooked but they said they couldn't do anything about it. I wasted my money there and will not be going back. read more

I went there today around 1.50 pm, and saw a paper note on the door they said "come back in 10 mins" stayed there for a while until 2.10 pm they're not come back. So wasted my time !!! read more

There is no better boba place in the boston area that is better than this. Some of my favorite drinks here are the taro milk tea with 50% sugar both hot and iced (ask for less). The king fu milk tea is also good. The service is always fast, and it is a great place to do work if there are seats available. If you want a free drink get the app and they give you a free 4 dollars. read more

We tried 3 slushes with bubbles - mango, pineapple and taro, and were thoroughly disappointed. They were all overly sweet and tasted artificial, like high fructose corn syrup with food coloring. The bubbles were bathed in a kind of grape jelly, and tossed into the bottom. Would not recommend. read more

I have had a lot of bubble tea in my lifetime and I can tell you Kung Fu is the best. So many different options from flavors, to bubble types, to tea types, to hot vs cold drinks, or even frozen bubble teas. The bubbles themselves are so good: very sweet and chewy, a perfect consistency! So happy that there's a boba place in Cleveland Circle. I finally can find a walkable distance, boba place. Me and all my friends go thereto chill and do homework. My favorites would have to be the milk tea and orange yogurt. What boba place doesn't have milk tea. Milk tea is definitely a classic, and they've done a very nice job on it. The yogurt orange is very refreshing and healthy. I you don't believe me, you can literally watch them squeeze the oranges. The vibe of the place makes you feel cool and new. To be honest, I think selling macaroons and cheesecake in the store is unnecessary. I do like how they soak the boba in honey. Usually I don't care for the boba as much. Also I like how you can control the ice and sweetness of your drink. Very helpful to the diabetic party. There was this one time where I went to use the restroom and I got locked in (pretty scary), luckily I had my phone so I could call my friend (should've put a sign). But thankfully they fixed the bathroom lock. So now everybody can go to the bathroom without getting stuck. Till this day I bring my phone in there. LOL read more
