Worst kungfutea ever. Everything is so watery, didn't taste anything. Their new workers seem like didn't train well. And they are so young. Never go kungfutea again. There is a coco one block away. Their drinks is much better than Kungfutea. Recommend everyone to try coco. read more

Ordered a large almond milk tea with 30% sugar but it was still too sweet and almond milk is in powder form.

Don't usually give negative reviews but this time I had to. First of all, their drinks are over priced, but since it's the closest bubble tea place for me, I'm willing to pay for the convenience. What really bothered me is, I walk in here when I get off the subway, order, pay and received my order. No complain with that. However, when I asked for a plastic bag for my drink (since I was carrying other packages), girl on the counter didn't even acknowledge me. I ask again, she turns to me, rolls her eyes and throws me a plastic bag. Really? I mean I get it, it's busy and she was the only person in the establishment, but you simply can't just ignore a customer and expect them to go away. She gave me a really nasty attitude and all I did was ask for a bag. Will not be coming here again. read more

I've been here b4 and it's ok nothing spectacular but only place close enough besides trekking alllll the way to Flushing. Tonight I got the Green Tea WOW, got home tried and it was gross. Now I've read their bubbles can be chewy, but this was chewy and hard!! I mean I.could've pelted.someone in the head.with these things and it would kind of hurt. And the tea was way toooo sweet. Well I called to let them know not for a refund but just to let them know so they won't serve and make a new batch. The phone was passed to 3 diff people & the response was very whatever but I didn't expect much from a place run by HS kids. Next time I'll trek to Flushing their bubbles and tea is sooooo much better!!! read more

My new favvvvvvv beverage from Kung Fu Tea is the Honey Lemonade with bubbles .. it's just the perfect amount of sweet and tart and every time I order this (I always get two .. one with bubbles and one without .. with bubbles is my dessert/treat and without is always with my lunch) It's the most refreshing thing to drink in the hot muggy New York summers!!! read more

The bubbles had a nice texture/chew to it. CG got the bubble milk tea, but threw it out. It was way too sweet and for some reason fruity (not in a good way). If we happen to stop by again, maybe we'll try it without any sweeteners. Also, besides the employees, no Asian patrons we saw besides us - a telling sign? I love coming here! One of my top ten reasons for why I love Jackson Heights! I grab my favorite red wow milk while waiting for the bus or train. Ideal location - right on the corner. No seating available. It's a grab and go kind of spot. Always two people on staff to make your bubble tea dreams come true. This place has never disappointed anyone I've recommended it too. The staff are sweet and friendly. They only accept cash though so make sure to hit the Chase across the street. I wish they sold drinks in a small size because i cant always finish it, but they only serve medium and large. read more

The Lychee Punch Bubble Tea is probably one of the popular flavors but it is sooo delicious and the girls are so nice and fast service!

I'm glad there's a bubble tea place so close to the train stop! Now I don't have to walk all the way to Broadway. They always seem to have 3+ workers behind the counter but it still takes awhile to get your order. Bubbles are soft and chewy. Taro milk tea tastes horrible!! It seriously tastes like a wet dog/ wet mop. Go get your bubble tea at coco tea because tastes way better.

The reason why I have give one star is because the price for kung fu tea is too much is about $7.89 over in Flushing I only pay for $7.25. I think won't go this kung fu tea shop anymore! I rather go to Flushing purchase my craving for it. read more

This tiny corner bubble tea shop makes some really awesome Milk Green Tea bubble tea. The tapioca is cooked through and is sweet, unlike other places that don't cook them properly. They have tons of flavors to choose from, but their prices are on the high end for bubble tea. They only offer mediums and larges as well. I expect to spend about $5-7 each time I come for 1 bubble tea. It's very much a to-go bubble tea spot, so don't expect to find space to drink your tea within the shop. It's right under the 7 train 82nd street stop, which is convenient. read more

Bubble tea at the corner of 82nd & Roosevelt...yes please! I like the green milk bubble tea but the grapefruit green tea is also good. I've tried a few other ones and they've all been quite a bit better than other bubble tea places I have been to recently. Very friendly staff too. read more

UPDATE: I've recently become obsessed with their signature iced coffee. Its really strong and barely sweet when you don't ask for it to be customized. So if you like your coffee on the sweet side, ask for A LOT MORE sugar. read more

I am a bubble tea fanatic and have been looking for a good place nearby to get my fix. After seeing the great reviews on here, I decided to stop in to Kung Fu Tea. Like others have mentioned, it is extremely small (no seats and too awkward to just stand and stare at the people behind the counter), so you're a bit forced into having your bubble tea to go. I got passion fruit with extra boba and no sugar and it was PERFECT. The pearls are just right in their consistency, which is often the biggest breaking point at other places. I come here pretty often on my way to work. I usually get the fruit teas like passion fruit or mango. For some reason the last time i went the girl put extra mango jellies on top of the boba. It didn't taste all that great. I've had tea at other places and this one is pretty average. Sometimes the bubbles taste old and like honey. Still, I'm happy to have a tea place in the neighborhood. read more
