Great addition to the neighborhood, conveniently located on Steinway. This was my first time going to a Yaaas Tea location. This one has only been open a few weeks. I was going to order a drink without boba, until I saw the sign that the boba is made fresh daily. It was DELICIOUS! Bright inside, with some seating. The staff were really helpful. Can order at counter or at kiosk. I think you can also order ahead via their app?

Good Luck, Best Wishes & Welcome to the Neighborhood to Yaaas Tea on Steinway Street in Astoria!! I'm so happy to see the Yaaas Tea Franchise expanding all over Queens and Long Island! Fresh Boba every hour, on the hour!! My niece and I went to checkout this new store. We only ordered 2 beverages, as we were going to be out and about all day long. But I told her next time, we have to add some Banana Pudding and Gelato...and maybe a Croffle! Hahaha So many great items to explore! We ordered: -- Iced Earl Grey Milk Tea w.Boba: although the Earl Grey tea was way too mild for me (could barely taste any Earl Grey!), the boba was very fresh and delicious! -- Matcha Slushie w.Boba: my niece loved her drink. She also said the boba was nice and soft, and super fresh! This new store was super clean, with plenty of seating. It was very inviting to sit and sip on this hot and humid day! Customer service was very friendly and efficient! You can place your order at their kiosk or with staff, at the register.

I think I have been to all their YAAS locations and now their newest one in Astoria! My friend happened to live in Astoria and since I know their drink and banana pudding are AMAZING (special thanks to my Queens CM Extraordinaire Samatha for letting me know!) that i bought for my friend and drinks for us. So yummy! She loved it! Thus location I think is the biggest and newest space. Very similar to them but much bigger!

This is the best boba tea spot in NYC and Long Island. You can truly taste the premium tea, the creaminess of the milk and foam, and the boba is soft, easy to drink, and enjoyable to chew. The service is welcoming, and the owners of this Astoria shop clearly take pride in crafting their tea. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the experience. Some customers even bring their own card games and spend hours playing.

I had the pleasure of dropping in to the new Yaaas Tea on Steinway yesterday. When I walked in I was immediately greeted with a big smile by the clerk behind the desk. With their help, I ordered the iced caramel milk tea with almond milk and Yaaas creamer. A drink I thought I would savor while commuting to Soho, but instead, I drank it on the short walk to the Steinway train station. Yaaas Tea offers breakfast, cookies, Pastéis de Nata, and other delicious options, but it was late afternoon and I had my mind set on their endulgent banana pudding. The pudding met all of my expectations. It was fluffy and creamy. I'll confess if I hadn't been out in public, there's a good chance I would have licked the cup dry. If you're on Steinway, make sure you stop in and treat yourself to their yummy treats. You won't regret it.

This is a new boba shop that opened up recently on Steinway. My husband and I happened to be walking by during their grand opening weekend and, intrigued, decided to pop in. The owners were there that morning and the place was empty as it was around 11am on a Saturday. Everyone was nice but they weren't especially welcoming, which felt odd since it was their grand opening weekend. We ordered at the kiosk and patiently waited for our drinks to be made. I ordered the mango dragon fruit refresher with mango popping boba - 50% sugar and less ice. The drink itself was tasty, however all of the sugar was on the bottom... meaning that by the time we were halfway finished with our drinks, they had 0% sweetness. The same thing happened to my husband. The tea maker definitely should've shaken our drinks before handing them over! Overall, it's a nice, cleanly place! I'm sure we'll stop by again some time in the future, especially since it's not too far from where we live.

Great experience! Everything is clean and well maintained. The service was quick and the server was friendly. The only thing I think could change is being able to adjust the sugar amount in your drinks. Most places allow you to adjust the sugar and ice levels.

I tried their taro, added boba and sea salt foam and the drink was quite tasty. Also order their egg tart! Staff was friendly and can't wait to come back and try their other drinks

I like the addition of the new bubble tea spot on Steinway. I hadn't heard of popping boba before so I knew I had to get it when I saw strawberry on the menu. I had the popping boba with my iced matcha oat milk tea. I also got some Portuguese tarts to take home. I'll be back!

This is another branch of a popular chain located on Long Island that has now made its way to Astoria. I'm pretty familiar with their drinks and they're good quality. However, for my first visit to this place, I decided to try out their banana pudding because I've read another review reviews that it is delicious. This banana pudding is very fluffy, filled with cookies, cream, and a good balance of bananas. It is a good affordable option instead of going to Sugar Sweet sunshine or magnolias. The staff were really friendly and the space is nicely decorated.

Best Bubble Tea Shop on Long Island is Now in Astoria! YAAAS TEA Astoria 30-61 Steinway St, Astoria, NY 11103 BROWN SUGAR BOBO PASSION DRAGONFRUIT REFRESHER ICED TARO MILK TEA with Lychee jelly EGG SALAD CROFFLE BANANA PUDDING DUBAI CHOCOLATE Cookie Review: YAAAS TEA, voted Long Island's Best Bubble Tea Shop, has officially opened its newest location in Astoria on Steinway Street! Their boba is incredibly soft, chewy, and made fresh every hour on the hour, making every sip worth it. The drinks were refreshing and flavorful, but the Egg Salad Croffle really stood out. It was light, crispy, and absolutely delicious. I'd definitely come back for another one. Whether you're looking for a spot to catch up with friends, enjoy a coffee or bubble tea, or grab a quick bite, YAAAS TEA is a great choice. The owners are amazing, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Astoria! The brown sugar bobo was tasty and one of the few occasions where I didn't taste the difference between an oatmilk and real milk iteration of the drink.

The sweetness level was perfect in my humble opinion, although I already know some matcha traditionalists who would call it too sweet. For me, though, it was much more balanced than Kijitora. I also loved that they have a bar area where you can sit and work while watching the staff whisk your matcha in the chawan. A drink and a tiny performance. What more could I ask for?? I don't get the hype--I'm so, so sorry! It's apparently the best matcha on the Beli app, and…read moreeveryone seems to rave about it, but that just wasn't my experience personally. I think I'm just used to sweeter, overly sugary, "fake" matcha from places like Blank Street, Dunkin', and similar chains. The matcha itself was good quality, but it didn't really taste like much to me--it was very mid/bland. The strawberry was made with real strawberries, which I appreciated, but the pieces kept getting stuck in the straw, so I wasn't really able to mix them into the matcha. I paid $8 for the matcha plus a $2 tip, so $10 total. I'd definitely come back and try something else next time, though. The service was quick and friendly, and since all the tables were occupied, they seated me at the bar where I got to watch my matcha being made, which was a nice touch.
